Strange as nobody else seems to have got this. Is you OS running in English? If not, then try setting it to see if it makes any difference. Also try the old version and see if that is still working (not 100% clear if it's the update or the new FPHG that's the problem).

I have the same problem. 2.14 works fine, 3.03 doesn't. OS version is Vista Business x64 (German).

I don't know how to set it to English without reinstalling.

Does "active mode" also not work? If it doesn't then that at least narrows down the problem.

Have you tried changing the location of the saved hands folder (see the INI) to somewhere else to see if that makes any difference?

Is there anything noticeably different about the German hand histories (I'm guessing by the name that Faust is also German so this could be a possibility)? Could you post a few here for me to look at.

@Faust: Are you also using Vista and/or a 64bit OS?

Try replacing the EXE in the install folder with this one (ie: copy this over the top): http://www.jukofyork.com/FreePHG.exe

I just had a quick look at the code and there is one thing I've done to speed up a bit of code that could be a bit iffy in a 64bit OS (the EXE above doesn't do it). See if that makes any difference.

PS: Try that in "active mode" as the change doesn't effect "passive mode".

I never tried active mode before, but I just did it and it worked. (Edit: I'm referring to untouched v3.03 w/o fixed exe)

I also changed the HH location in passive mode.

I don't think that there are any differences, because my Party client is completely english so my HHs are also english (I doubt PT3 can import German HHs, that's why I have everything in english).

It might well be something fairly simple to fix then: most of the code is in the FreePHG.exe process now and if active mode works it can't be a problem in their and also if v2.14 works then it can't be a very big problem in the injected DLL.

I'll wait for Faust to report back on if he is using a 64bit OS and see if I can have a look then (my brother uses Vista 64bit so I can prolly test it on his if it turns out to be related to 64bit stuff...).

What happens if you run FPHG and/or Party in "Windows XP compatibility mode" (I don't have Vista but think this is an option in the right-click compatibility mode page)?

Sorry if this is an easy answer but I can't get right click to work on 3.03 or 2.14

I used to use freephg back in the day but it would crash every 30 minutes and now would love for it work again.

If someone could please help me. I have windows xp and betpot v 0.2w Party fix test 1. I also use the oldschool Party themed tables.

Probably best to also ask in the BetPot thread. If you just downloaded the bog standard script then you prolly need to make these changes to get it working again after the Party client update from last week. If it still doesn't work then you may also need to make this change as well.
