  • new equity calculation & training tool
  • available in 18 languages
  • free to use

What can Equilab do?

When it comes to equity analysis, this software can help you in a variety of ways:
  • it helps you calculate your equity in any given situation
  • it provides you with potential outcomes postflop thanks to the Scenario Analyser
  • you can practice your equity skills with the built-in Equity Trainer
The main window enables you to calculate your equity based on various filters. In order to calculate equity, you must enter the hands or hand ranges of at least two players.

The hand range selection has several features that can help you refine your equity analysis:
  • numerous predefined ranges based on the most common scenarios. You an also customize these ranges or create your own and add them to the database
  • the possibility to remove cards, suits or combinations of suits from the equity calculations
  • the Hand Strength Distribution tool, which tells you the percentages of getting a particular winning hand combination

Are you going to say its free just like you said your original product is free and will always be free and then disable it so that people who learned to rely on it can no longer use it?

@Ramdon:
Before now, we were not responsible for the development of the Equilab.
It was independent and offered on a different website.

We are now supporting the developer (a bright guy indeed!) so he can ongoingly develop the Equilab, make improvements and even work on an Omaha version.

Btw. the first bugfix update plus some improvements based on community feedback is now released:

This is a really nice program! Are you guys still actively developing?

I saw some nice suggestions on your official support forum (such as random flops etc), is this being considered?

Can't believe this is free

Are some of these hand ranges for "limit" and others for "no limit"? If so, I recommend you label the hand ranges as being for "limit" or "no limit" play. For instance, I recognize the Stox range as being for limit. I'm asking because I don't play 6-max "no limit" and I don't know if "no limit" ranges differ much from "limit" ranges.

Cheers on a very nice program !

This is obviously really cool stuff and went ahead and tried it. Its one major problem thou as far as I see it.

You should really be able to differentiate the different gutshots. I put 70% range and I have A9hh on T78dd and I thought he would continue with a bunchof made hands, OESD + gutshot. But obviously its quite a big difference between QJ gutshot and Q6o-gutshot. You should really add like 1 card gutshot to low, 1gutshot to high etc etc.

Great work thou!

If any pokerstrategy rep. is reading this thread I want to give a small feedback.

If the Hand Strength Distribution tool can be capable of a reject condition it would be very usefull.

For example, in current version I can select "less than top pair" with a few clicks. But choosing "less than top pair and no OESD/FD" requires one by one removing every draw from range.

In the Scenario Analyzer, can it be possible to let hero have a range instead of just a hand?

Just DL'd this. Looks very good. Beats Pokerstove imo. Way more possibilities.

Nice work. Thx a lot for this!

Awesome program, just found it after Pokerstove stopped working this year and it looks like this could be a very competent replacement for it, thanks :-)

I've just started playing with the program as well.

I must be really blind because I missed a key feature, which I have only just stumbled on.

There's a button on the immediate left of where each player's equity is displayed. This gets enabled once a board has been provided, and on clicking the button we get to see a new form which shows the player's relative hand strength. I saw an example of the form in the first post but couldn't figure out how to open the form until now.

As a result, this program seems to be a good replacement of both PokerStove AND Flopzilla. Very impressive that its been made available for free
