Ill think about it, it's a great idea, maybe really hard, I think I could do it for FTP but on other sites I don't know if it'd be possible

Definitely a great idea, and doable, i'll add it to my list of things to do

Yes, i'm aware of this, it's a very tough one to figure out because
a) It didn't used to happen with the same code
b) There's no specific cause, just slowly after many hours of scanning FTP uses more resources and eventually crashes
I actually did try a few things for this upcoming update, which I think might have improved it a little, let me know if it seems any better once I release it. And in doing that I came up with some other ideas I can try. I would suggest for now if you take a break during your session restart FTP, and if you're using permascan or autoscan maybe set it to a larger interval

Sorry for the delay on fixing PokerStars, I have been working on it non stop and I think I finally have it working well again, in fact it's MUCH better than before. I've posted a test update RC2 b4 on my forum here, I'm hoping to get some feedback today and then I am planning to finish a few minor improvements and release a required update RC3 tonight when I wake up.

Hi,
could you add again 5050poker client? After its update, TST doesn't work with it:
MicroGaming Scan aborted: MicroGaming Client not found!!

So you have to close the FT client? Closing the scanner won't do the trick?

Yes, I'll get it in today's update

Yes over time while scanning FTP, FTP starts using more memory/cpu. So restarting it yourself once in a while will make it use less resources and keep it more stable. Restarting tablescan shouldn't have any effect

Re: New Table Selection Software: TableScan Turbo (Open Beta)

Yeah, FTP has been crashing for me quite a bit too...never thought it was related to TST, but if other users say that they think it is, it's likely that the 2 are related.

But I actually came here to post the most aggravating issue I've had with TST...I'm not 100% sure what causes it, nor how to describe it accurately, but the gist of it is this: it frequently pops up FTP Waitlist boxes, and just leaves them open. So I have to manually close them. And this is really annoying because when that happens, it steals the focus from whatever FTP table I'm currently playing on.

I don't know WHY it doesn't close the Waitlist windows (the ones where it asks you whether you want it to put you on the WL). Based on my understanding about how TST works, I would have thought that the ONLY time it would bring up the WL window is when it detects a table that it wants to put me on the WL for...but then it's not clicking OK on that window properly...

I don't know how well I described that, but perhaps other users have noticed the same thing and can do a better job explaining...

I just tested it out, and it seems to work properly for me. But I have heard of people having problems with it before, I would suggest you turn on the option in FTP Lobby > Options > "Always join individual waiting list". That way you won't have to worry about that popup

Re: New Table Selection Software: TableScan Turbo (Open Beta)

RC3 Released
• Fixed support for PokerStars' latest update
• Fixed support for iPoker skins: myBet, Celeb Poker
• Fixed support for Microgaming skin: 5050 Poker
• Added support for Microgaming Skin: 24Poker
• Added support for EverestPoker.fr

• New option: AutoWaitlist "Preferred action". You can now choose from the following actions for AutoWaitlist to perform: Join waitlist OR Open table, Join waitlist AND Open table, Open table, Join waitlist
• New option: Scan Rush Tables on FTP. This allows you to turn on or off TableScan's functionality of scanning Rush Poker Tables
• You can now import to your Buddy List from HM scanner buddylist files, at Configure > Buddy List > Options > Import

• Slightly improved efficiency of scanning on Full Tilt Poker
• Slightly improved HUD efficiency

• Removed option: Move Pokerstars lobby offscreen when I have tables open. Unfortunately, when the lobby is off-screen, PokerStars seems to be drawing the player list very slowly, and TableScan is not able to read the playerlist correctly with the new method. I will look into trying to make this option work again in the next version

• TableScan's HUD is no longer shown on Full Tilt Poker Rush Tables
• Fixed support for Microgaming anonymous tables
• Fixed an issue where TableScan could show a slightly lower VPIP and PFR for players than HM when using a HM database, due to a small change made in the formula for VPIP and PFR by HoldemManager

Download: http://www.tablescanturbo.com/download/

I apologize for the delay in getting this PokerStars fix, it was one of the most challenging tasks I've ever faced while working on TableScan, and I have been working non-stop to fix it since they released their update.

I'm very happy to say that I have developed a new method for reading the player list, which is much faster than the previous method, and is 100% accurate. I have done my best to test and fix any bugs in this new version, and I think it should work well for everyone. I'd love to hear some feedback, please let me know if it's working for you, or if you find any bugs.

Re: New Table Selection Software: TableScan Turbo (Open Beta)

Hi. Got the new update and all is good.

I have a question about whether or not tablescanner scans the bad beat jackpot tables on prima. Like I've tried but they just never show up? Is this intentional or do people just not play these tables?

Again, thanks for this lovely piece of software.

Because party loads the player list much faster On iPoker, the first scan is always slow, but then if you leave it on permascan, it will go much faster on the 2nd scan and onward. I've also noticed that the first scan on stars goes a little slower as well, but this update should actually be a speed improvement over the previous versions for scanning pokerstars

My webhost has been having a lot of problems, it's a constant headache with them, and it's not like i'm using some dinky shared host, I bought this company's supposed top of the line VPS service. They're gonna move me to another node maybe they say but I'm looking for another host.

Yes, it scans the bad beat jackpot tables on microgaming, please check your scan filters in tablescan and make sure it doesn't have any special exclusions which could cause it to exclude jackpot tables

Uncheck "Exclude Anonymouse Tables", check "Excluse Phrase" and type "Anon Holdem" there.
