The new update works great for me, thank you for getting this sorted so quick. I played a few games without and hated it lol. It actually kind of tilted me!! I'd be lost without this software now

I'm looking forward to both (buying + BB) of the above.

Thanks
We currently have our early beta group testing a new version that makes a lot of changes to the underlying code. Once that version is tested and released we will get back to adding features and BB rounding is high on the list and should almost certainly get added so I would guestimate 4-6 weeks for us to finish testing and release this update, and create and test the next update.

As Bling ATL suggested you can buy the program now if you like and that way when the beta period ends you will be able to just keep using the program rather than having to purchase later. Purchases can be made here: http://tableninja.com/buynow.php.

This is a very rare issue that can occasionally be a little tricky to fix. Can you email me at support@alxsoftware.com with your TableNinja log file (located in your TableNinja install directory) and tell me what operating system you are using. With that info I *should* be able to help you get things working.

Thanks guys,

Tarath

Depending on how it crashed the log file may be useful. No matter how it crashed it should definitely have been created, so why don't you email it to me at support@alxsoftware.com and I can take a look.

Also did you see a .NET exception message or just a "this program has stopped working" type of thing?

If you saw a .NET exception if you are able to get the problem to happen again, click details and email me the exception text. That will tell us the exact line of code where the problem occurred.

is there no way to use the same hotkey for fold and AA c/f?

No there is not.

If you are using the "Table Under Mouse" or "Manually Cycled/Clicked" Table Control methods the AA c/f hotkey will act as the fold hotkey on your turn and click the advanced action checkbox when it is not your turn. So in these cases there is no need to set them to the same key as the AA c/f hotkey already does everything.

If you are in the "Table in Foreground" control method we purposely disable the AA c/f hotkey on your turn and do not allow you to set fold to the same hotkey. We do this to protect you from misclicks.

We used to have the AA Check/Fold click the check or fold buttons if they appeared and the check/fold checkbox if they did not. The problem is that in the "Table in Foreground" method if you hit the AA check/fold hotkey right as a second table suddenly needed action, stars would put the second table into the foreground and you would accidently fold at that table. Obviously accidently folding a big hand is a huge problem so we made all the advanced action hotkeys not work on your turn under the Table In Foreground method.

Hopefully this makes sense,

Could you make this optional?
I would like it to only click the advance action fold checkbox but NOT the fold button. I would still like to use "table under mouse" though and not table in foreground. I use 4 stacks of tables of 4+ tables each
like so
T1 T2
T3 T4
so I need "table under mouse" but can't risk misclicks when other tables popup.

Also, could you add a feature that makes the table that needs action popup and brings it to the foreground? This is especially helpful if you play stacked and accidentally minimize a table that needs action.
The "first in line" feature doesn't seem to do that? I figured it was supposed to.

This is something we can definitely do, good idea.

The first in line hotkey will do this as long as the table is in a state where TableNinja can read that it is your turn.

Unfortunately when a window is minimized the program can not identify that it is your turn. If you play Fixed Limit and are using windows XP we also cannot tell its your turn on tables that are not visible.

You mean when the window is minimized I assume right? I am 99% sure that AHK cannot detect when its your turn in background tables in limit without using way to much memory.

But, if its possible with AHK its definitely something we can do then, the only way I know how to make it work is very slow though (it involves getting a picture of the entire table) so I wouldn't have thought it wouldn't work but I will look into it.

Which script have you used to do this?

FTShortcuts does it for Full Tilt.

EDIT: I think with Full Tilt it's easier though because the buttons are controls, with Stars they aren't right? (I think with AHK you just have to see if the control is visible)

hi, i am using version 1.0.93.0 and i tried updating to next version when it was out and found that it was very buggy for me so i went back to 1.0.93.0, today i tried latest version and found the same probs.
the tables would fail to change bet size and the hot keys would not work, this happened at least one in every 4 times. so i had to use the mouse those times.
i love 1.0.93.0 and am happy to pay for that and stay using that, when it finishes beta will i still be able to use 1.0.93.0?

like some of the newer features though so would be nice to get this fixed,

oh also i dont have google check out or paypal, is there any other way to pay?

Yeah unfortunately Fulltilt works completely differently and is much much friendlier than stars. Like you said on FT everything is a control whereas the stars UI is literally a picture where they detect mouse click locations.

We have thousands of people using the newer versions with almost no problems, so if your encountering a lot of bugs it is likely a configuration problem. Its likely that 1.0.93.0 will end up being discontinued when the beta ends because it is just too hard to support old versions when Stars updates. Already 1.0.93.0 will not work in tournaments at all due to mondays PokerStars update.

What I would really prefer to do is to help you get the newest version configured and working. Its definitely not the case that the new features just don't work, the problem is almost certainly just a configuration issue that I can help you out with.

Can you email me at support@alxsoftware.com with your TableNinja log file, your Configuration file and a screen shot of your tables set up as they are when you play (with your HUD running)? I can help you get everything configured and working smoothly with the new version.

Thanks

Hi,
i just tested this program and it looks fine, but i have trouble getting the hotkeys for sit out next bb or sit out next hand to work. i`m using the hyper simlpe theme and the hm.hud. these features work well with starsplanner from dave.
also i would like to know if it is possible to assign different hotkeys to do the same action?
Is there a plan on adding an hotkey to join waitinglists?
and one to sit out next bb and close this table automaticly if you arrive at the bb?
thank you

I came here to tell this but somebody told this already...

I am using Tableninja since yesterdays pokerstars update and that's the one thing i miss using tableninja.

The StarsAHK script (wicksshotkeys.com) does bring up the next table in line even when the table is minimized.

How about a hotkey for the 2nd table in line needing action?

Anyway , great program and i was used to it very fast.
Keep up the good work and support...

Great, glad to here you got things working. Unfortunately paypal and google-checkout are the only ways to pay. We cannot accept site transfer as that violates the stars TOS and we cannot create moneybookers/neteller/etc accounts because we are US citizens. I know this is a bit inconvenient and I'm sorry.

Hey,

I've never heard of anyone having trouble with the sit out next hand hotkey so I'm not sure what to say. Is the program just not clicking the check-box?

For the sit out next Big Blind hotkey, this hotkey relies on reading your hand history so as to avoid sitting out on the small blind (unlike the Stars planner feature) and requires that you set your hand history on the general tab.

It is not possible to assign different keys to the same action, but what you can do is assign different keys to the "Click buttons by location" hotkeys on the action hotkeys tab. For example if you have "F" set to fold and "G" set to the "Left Button Hotkey" this can give you a lot of flexibility.

We will definitely be adding a join waitlist hotkey and we will probably add an option to automatically close the table after you have sat out when you use the sit out next BIG blind hotkey.

I will look more in depth into making the "First in line" hotkey work when the table is minimized, it sounds like this is in fact something we should be able to do. Our program is written in the language that AHK is written in, so if wicks does it then its certainly possible for us to as well.

I think adding a "Second in line" hotkey should be quite straightforwards, I've added it to my list.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I appreciate it,

Tarath

the sit out next hand hotkey works now after restarting, but the sit out nexr bb on all tables still doesn`t work.
it tells me there is an error reading hand history. the folder for the hand histories is the right one, but it is grey, does that mean anything? also i have about 1600 hh files with about 100 hands each in the folder, maybe that is o much?
also i have a dot in my username, wich caused errors in some ahk´s.
it doesnt´t matter that much that it is not working 100%, it works good while using the stars planner for sitting out nex blind on all tables, stars assistent for joining waitinglists and bet pot to play with gamepad.
still a great program thank you

It could be the dot in your username. Does the subfolder for your username for your HH files from pokerstars contain a dot? If not that is likely the problem. If you can let me know how PokerStars handles the dot when saving your handhistory we can set up TableNinja to handle the . the same way that Stars does and everything should work.

I'm reasonably sure that the dot is the problem and not the large number of HH files, but you might still want to check that out just in case. You can quickly test the hand history reading by using the "Save last hand history" hotkey so you could also try archiving some of your old files. I think a ton of HH files would just cause lag, not an error, but it would be worth archiving some and testing to double check that.

We will be adding a join waiting lists hotkey pretty soon, however we probably will not build in gamepad support as Xpadder already does such a great job with this.

save last istory doesn`t work either.
the folders in the hand history folder just skips the dot.
for example username tets.test would get an folder testtest and in the textfiles the name is complete again.

Im considering buying this software, but im only wondering about a minor detail.
Under features, it says it can refresh the Info-tab while you play SNGs/MTTs.

My question is: Will it by clicking on that option, also open the Info-tab as default, instead of the pokerstars default, wich are chat-tab?

It would be great if thats possible.
