From your log it seems like the last time you played, you didn't have your PokerStars theme set. That would cause many things to not work and should give you some annoying errors. You can set your theme on the 'General' tab, and just be sure to "Save to TNConfig.txt" under the file menu. If you use a theme that's neither 'Classic' nor 'HyperSimple' things may still work if you chose the closest one, but proceed with caution as we only test thoroughly in those two themes.

I'll admit that the current version is less than perfect about telling you how to set things up initially, and certainly the way configuration files work is not as intuitive as it could be.

Here's our documentation: http://tableninja.com/documentation....20Instructions

It's not very long and should be a good tour of our features. I think we'll be adding a "getting started" section soon and doing what we can to point new users to it.

Also, no matter what your settings are, TableNinja should never just crash, so I will be trying to fix that. Let me know if I've missed the point with what I've said above.

What about a method of using directional arrows to scroll through tables (in order of most recently acted on) for the Table In Foreground method.

I am a maximizer/stacker and Right now I am still using StarsHotkeys AHK to scroll through tables but it would be nice to be able to phase out SHK completely and thats the last feature I am using from that that TN hasnt gotten yet.

It is a top priority to have this in the upcoming release. Not just because it's a great feature for stackers, but because table scrolling from other applications currently seems like the main way to break things, especially on slower machines.

I think I've mentioned that we're shooting (ambitiously) for a release this weekend.

Let me clarify that this would be a release to the testing group and would probably come on Sunday. The open release would hopefully come early next week (if no bugs were found).

Can you possibly add support for the Slick theme? It´s an awesome theme for stats and multitabling.

If you add this you have an egde on the AHK script because they don´t support it. Would be awesome, I certainly buy your program then

Just downloaded the beta version.
Under the fixed bet tab, there is only 4 keys plus 1 all in key that i can customize.
Is there anyway i can customize more than 5 keys based on BB?

I'll be talking with tarath this weekend. He handles that stuff and knows what's needed and what limitations there are, so I don't want to promise anything. I'll point out that you're interested though.

On the fixed bet tab there are 4 BB + limpers bet hotkeys to be used preflop unraised. There are also 4 separate BB hotkeys. You may also define the default bet that is put in preflop as a BB + limpers bet on the "Pot Betting" tab.

I suppose we could squeeze in one more of each kind of bet, but obviously there are some limits. Is there some particular betting strategy you want to use that we might be able to help you accomplish with a new feature instead of a larger number of old features?

Is there anything that you think makes the slick theme better for stats/multitabling aside from the general look?

Poker is a mental game, so I'm not trying to discount the value of a pleasant design, much less one that is visually easy to process. However, support for the Slick theme may be a long way off.

TableNinja should currently work with the PokerStars Classic and HyperSimple themes, with any solid background that's not too close to the button colors. Other themes that are close to those two (i.e. same layout and button colors) may also work (some have been specifically mentioned in this thread), but please test them with caution.

The Slick theme is so drastically different from the others that certain features may not even be possible with it. I honestly think it we might be able to make TableNinja work with FullTilt more easily than we could make it work with the slick theme. Also, it is in Beta for PokerStars, thus any work we'd do now would pretty much be guaranteed to break eventually as they change things.

For now we will be focusing on improving existing features and adding new features for the themes we currently support. If there's something specific that the Slick theme gives you that we could implement as an overlay etc., please let us know.

I'm just used to knowing how much to bet instead of % of pot.
So there is no way i can customize it to have 9 fixed bet huh?

On further inspection of the Slick theme, one obvious advantage is that the smaller table and square player info areas give much more room for HUDs, etc.

It will still be a lot of work, but now I see that there is substantial value in supporting the theme. We certainly want to wait until it is out of Beta, but then, time permitting, we'll take a serious look at what it would take to support Slick.

Small issue. Whenever I have "Register if identical is full" the lobby always pops up.

This is actually a issue in the PokerStars software.

If you check the "Automatically try to register to identical tournament if this one is already full" check-box in PokerStars the tournament lobby will pop up upon registration even if TableNinja is not running.

Hopefully PokerStars will fix this bug soon. If not, at some point we'll work on a custom feature inside of TableNinja to handle the issue.

I would like to add my support to requesting that the ability to move an "interersting" table off a stack of ~15 tables, and then back again, be implemented into TN. This would be amazing for me.

Thanks for the feedback. This is certainly becoming one of our most requested features and we will be adding it in the future. However, I can tell you that it will not be in the very next update that we are currently working on.

We worked all day and night yesterday and woke up early today to try and ensure we get the next update out to our testing group by tonight. I got back in town yesterday and am leaving again late tonight, so we are going to do everything we can to get the update out asap. However it is a very major update and we are changing a lot of the inner workings of some major features so I can't make any promises yet.

We think you guys will really love the update, its got lots of great stuff and we're going to try and get it to you as soon as we possibly can.

Thanks for being patient,

Tarath

We definitely plan on doing this in the near future but it will not be in the next update. We have a whole bunch of tournament specific features like this that we are hoping to roll out soon.

Thanks for the feedback

Um, yes it closes them for me e306.

Another thing I'm wondering if it does or not (can't see it anywhere in this thread or in the program) is press the "I am back" button if you accidentally sit out.

If not, I'd like to request a feature that allows you to press the "I am back" button on all tables, if it is present. Or, does the "sit out at all tables" work as a toggle? For SNGs as well as cash?

yeah, I was wondering if they could have it so that it would sit out next blind on all tables at once. The feature i see is "sit out next blind" but I don't think it does the same thing on all of the tables... or does it?

also, what about wait for blinds. That would also be another feature worth adding.

The "sit out at all tables" should work as a toggle in both SNGs and cash, let me know if it does not.

If you are using our Fold hotkey then the hotkey knows to check when checking is free so you should never see this pop-up.

Regardless we do plan to handle this pop-up soon.

Thanks for the feedback guys,

Tarath
