i'd also like to suggest with your "Smart Big Blind Sitout" that when the popup for slow tables comes up, it auto clicks "Sit Out"

thanks!
We've been working really hard on improving performance over the last few months so this is really encouraging feedback.

Adding Sitting out when the blind comes around ought to be quite doable.

Thanks

A couple of suggestions/ideas:

---When cascading it is difficult to take notes because Stars steals focus away from the chat/note box when a table requires action. Would it be possible to bind a key to automatically put the cursor back into the chat/note box of last table it was in? I realize that suggestion is a little out there, but I thought I would toss it out anyways.

---Recently I was tracking down some colluders and wanted to open one of their tables to see if the other colluder was indeed at the same table(he was). I opened their table without realizing that I had autobuy-in selected and I accidentally sat at that table. It made me realize that having an option to only autobuy-in at a certain limit or two would be a useful option. I can also see scenarios where someone wants to rail a higher stake game but does not want to accidentally buy in for all or larger percentage of roll.

---Could we get an option to auto click "wait for BB" on non-fast tables?

---Could we get an option for the scroll wheel to adjust the bet size in both directions? Meaning that up scroll would increase the size of the bet by whatever the pre-determined increment is under one option. Under the other option, the up scroll would decrease the size. I suppose, kinda like a reverse scrolling option.

Thanks for the program. It will save me at least a million clicks over the next year.
This is great feedback

Wait for BB and inverting the scroll wheel are definitely on our list. I had never considered something like what your describing for notetaking. Note-taking while stacking/cascading is definitely not easy so doing something to make this more managable is a great idea. I'll have to brainstorm a bit on exactly how it would work.

Thanks

Re: New Software: TableNinja - Hotkeys and Utilities for PokerStars

Keyboard Redirect worked quite well while using AHK scripts for me, and seems to be working nicely with PSC also. I would expect it will work nicely with TN as well.

If I have KR runniing, and start chatting at the table (which I rarely do) or making notes in HEM HUD Notes (which i do often) pokerstars will not steal focus back if my cursor is over the chat box i am typing into (also works nicely for chatting on AIM or posting on 2p2). Once I finish making my note, and manually move to the active table and make my action, then my poker session goes back to normal til the next note situation where I decide to steal focus from pokerstars and my hotkeys mouse control.

Re: New Software: TableNinja - Hotkeys and Utilities for PokerStars

Hey guys,

I just paid and it just now started totally freaking out -- bet sizing is now really crazy and inconsistent.

I play SNGs:

I've got it set up to use 85% / 80% / 75% (flop turn river) and 3+1 per limper pre. It's started minraising for no reason, leading 2.6k at 400, and leading 100 at 650 at totally random intervals.

Is this a known issue?

Hey,

I've never heard of anything like this. Why don't you email me your TableNinja log file and your TNConfigAutoLoad file (both are located in your TableNinja install directory) at support@alxsoftware.com and I will take a look at it right away. Also if you can include a list of scripts/programs you run while you play and a screenshot of your tables with your HUD running laid out as they are when you play that will speed things up.

Thanks and sorry your having problems,

Tarath

Re: New Software: TableNinja - Hotkeys and Utilities for PokerStars

Ok, I don't come by 2p2 much anymore, but I saw this and went through a bunch of the thread and after DLing - granted I haven't used it yet - it just seems like a glorified version of AHK Betpot and AHK StarsAssistant. Is there any real benefit to it over these two (free) AHK scripts? I will try it out this week, but if I knew the benefits, it might help.

Thanks

This is a good question. If you've download the program and glanced through it then you know we have a lot more features then these two scripts combined so I won't go into that. Instead I will say the real advantage of TableNinja is the attention to detail we've put into the program.

Rather than just sitting out at the next blind at all your tables, our Sit out next Big Blind feature, checks to see if you are about to post the small blind and waits until the blind has passed you to sit out so that you don't miss a free orbit of hands by sitting out on the small blind.

There was recently a thread about how using the Advanced Action checkboxes while stacking results in a lot of mistakes because tables can pop to the foreground right as you are clicking the advanced action checkbox and you may accidently click fold on the new table rather than the c/f checkbox on the old table. Our Advance Action hotkeys automatically protect you from that ever occurring if you use the "Table in Foreground" mode.

Our fold hotkey knows when its free to check and checks instead, our call hotkey knows when your facing an all-in and clicks the right button instead of the middle button. Our automatic cash buy-in detects when you recently left the table with more than you are trying to by in for and automatically corrects your buy-in amount. Our automatically click I'm back feature sits you in within 10 seconds of you timing out, it does not wait an entire hand, etc.

Poker is a game where small edges over time add up to a lot of money and I think that is really why TableNinja is well worth the $25. TableNinja will save you a small blind, a misclick, a timeout, on a regular basis and over time this adds up to a lot of money. Obviously not everyone will feel this way, but I suggest you simply give TableNinja a try and see what you think. The beta will last 4 more days and then you will have a 1 week full featured trial to play with for free so you will have plenty of time to decide for yourself.

Re: New Software: TableNinja - Hotkeys and Utilities for PokerStars

First of all, Table Ninja is great. Kudos!

I haven't read this thread, so I don't know if someone already made this suggestion (if so, sorry about that), but it would be really great if you could set a different default opening raise for every position (at the moment there's only one default pre-flop bet amount).

Are there any plans to include this?

Hi Tarath - been using this software for a while.. it's awesome. Will be buying it once the betas end.

Just one thing - I noticed ppl were asking whether there would be a 'move tables' to spot X functionality and you mentioned that it might make it into the next update. Would it be possible to have a 'move table when hero sees flop' type of option? would be awesome.

Thanks. Great job and keep it up!

Doing so now. I'd really like to get this worked out before the beta period ends since funds are tight. Once this is fixed, I plan on finding a way to get this.

Re: New Software: TableNinja - Hotkeys and Utilities for PokerStars

I've just purchased the complete version of TableNinja. I'm playing on PokerStars.it, I'd like to know if you are going to make TN working 100% on Ps.it!

The raises pre and post flop will work?? Thanks!

We do plan to include this, it will not make it into the upcoming update, but may make it into the one after this. We have figured out exactly how to make this feature work, but it is a more complex programming task than you might expect and will take some time. It would definitely be awesome though so we really want to get it working.

We have plans to add an option to automatically sort tables into piles by street, but this will also not make it into the next update. We have not started work on this feature yet at all so it will probably be a little while.

I responded to your email, hopefully we can get everything straightened out.

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

Re: New Software: TableNinja - Hotkeys and Utilities for PokerStars

Just started to use it, and my "Fold" hotkey won't work (F2). It blinks red on the GUI when I press it (mouse over table), but nothing happens. Also, do I need to assign another hk to the "check/fold" buttons, or will my "Fold" hk automatically do this for me? I read everything, but this didn't seem clear, and obv. my Fold is not working...

Also, does this program have anything that will join a waitlist for me? Or do I still need to use AHK StarsAssistant to do that?

Is your Pokerstars theme set correctly in the setup tab? Are you running as administrator in vista?

We are adding a whole bunch of waitlist functionality in the next update (hotkeys for joining waitlists, automatically taking seats or not based on the number of tables you have open, etc) but for the next week or two I'd use stars assistant.

Also do you have the cash game auto-seating turned on?

If you have trouble getting everything set up, email me at support@alxsoftware.com with your TNConfigAutoLoad file and your log file and I'll be happy to help,
