I can only guess that it's because this file runs as administrator, connects to the internet and was created few days ago. TO will work fine without update.exe file, so you can keep it in quarantine if that makes you feel safer.
I've developed it so I know that it doesn't have any viruses. Proving it to somebody else is almost impossible without releasing the source code.
Antiviruses are known to make such false detection all the time. It happened multiple times in the past with Table Optimizer and it will most likely happen in the future.

Anyway I submitted update.exe file as a false positive to them, they confirmed that it's not a threat and it should no longer be blocked.
