Hey greg, just found this thread and ran the program on ub and it works great! I know you mentioned you didnt want to interfere with TN hotkeys , but what about adding some hotkeys for UB/AB for betting/raising/allin? I have been searching the thread and still have not found a program like tableninja that has allin hotkey for UB/AB. I would even pay for something like this.

if you are using old code, then you shouldn't have had any mouse grabs iirc. i didnt introduce any of the mousemovements until this latest 1.99 exe

interesting idea for sure, and you've got an idea how to implement it already. i dont have the time right now to pursue it, and i dont know how much demand there is anyway. right now i'm just compiling all the feedback from this beta to get it stable and see where this goes next. priority is to get more sites working

its unlikely that i will turn this into a full hotkey program. i believe UB has some built in hotkeys like F1,F2,F3 etc that you can enable in the options

open pokerstars lobby, click Help menu -> Open My Settings Folder

find user.ini file and open it, there should be a line that says:

f5redrawtable=1

if there isnt, FIRST close the lobby, then add the line, then save the file, then re-open stars

tried it on FTP, love it!

...after like 1.5hrs of play (9-12 tables) some tables started to bounce back to grid after "fold and stack" button. It looked like this: I press button, my hand is folded, table jumps into stack slot and then almost instantly goes back to tile.

very very strange that it would do this over time, but not at the start. people have reporting this problem right from the onset, but its usually a configuration issue. for things to work fine, and the suddenly change stumps me.

please keep me posted if it happens again or anything else you notice

OK, I gave it a try. Nice work!

Sometimes when I fold I want to see how the hand plays out in order to get reads and take notes.

To help with that, I think I have two pretty good feature suggestions which you should add:

1) Make an option that makes tables, once they are moved out of the stack and into the grid, stay in their position on the grid until a new table that requires action takes over their exact grid position. So if, for instance, the table was in the fourth and last position on the grid it will stay there until the fourth new table with pending action is placed in its position. The table that previously occupied position 4 on the grid is placed back into the stack.

2) A hotkey that makes the table under the mouse immune to being moved back into the stack. Draw a red (customizable color!) border around the table to let the user know the table is locked to its position at the moment. No other table of interest can take over its position on the grid. When the hotkey is pressed again, the border around the table disappears and the table is moved back into the stack.
This would be a cool thing to have on one of the mouse side buttons. You see an interesting and potentially noteworthy situation brewing up at a table, press the mouse side button to lock the table in its position, watch the hand play out while playing your other tables. You take a note on what happened and then press the side button again to put the table back into the stack. Awesome!

Another thing:

Could you possibly make separate stacks/grids for cash and tournament tables?
For instance, if I mainly play cash games but want to play a couple of MTTs or Satellites "on the side" (literally) I wouldn't want the tournaments to get it in the way of my cash tables and vice versa.
Maybe eventually you could make a config tab for this that let's you select which type of games go to stack1 and grid1 and which go to stack2 and grid2.
I could imagine that players who play 9 man and 45 man SNGs might want to separate them from each other.
Some might want to separate sites.
Flexibility and customization like that would be really great!

ill think about your suggestions and how difficult they would be to implement. i think someone else recently suggested having multiple stacks. its just right now the priority is to make sure this software mostly works and is bug free and then get more sites going

but let me say something about your main issue

this is already possible, and intended. you can do this fine as long as you dont press the "fold and stack" hotkey. that means, if you see an interesting hand and want to watch results, you click fold normally with your mouse, or setup another hotkey in TableNinja or other soft for just folding, then nothing happens to the table and it stays in place.

so you might want to re-think the usage of the "fold and stack" hotkey. don't think of it as just simply folding your hand. think of it as, "ok i'll press this hotkey when i'm done with the table and want it out of my grid"

Using this on pokerstars with around 10-15 tables in a grid of 6.

Just interested in how people deal with a few issues.

- When the table jumps back into the stack do you find the HEM HUD still remains there for half a second or so before disappearing? Does anyone find this really distracting and is there a solution to it?

- How do you guys close tables in a stack that you have sat out of? I find even clicking through every table very difficult as stack and tile moves tables around making it far from simple.

- Stack and Tile "seems" to run slower as time goes on. Seems to get more lethargic then when restarted seems ok again.

Great work Greg..love the software

hey greg,

Is there any way to get an option so that if you are on a table that doesn't have a fold button up it doesnt click fold? I don't know if I am the only one but it has caused me to misclick a few times when isend the fold->sstack hotkey to wrong table. Anywho, thanks for the great software.

Basically, to be clear, asking if theres a way to stop using the auto moves.

ive used it with PT3, and there is a similar delay. this is the issue with the HUD software, nothing i can do

yea i agree this is annoying. a workaround is to use a "Manual Move into grid" hotkey to move tables out of the stack to get to the ones underneath.

there could be bugs in the code causing this. i've tried to make it as clean as i can. are you restarting the entire program to fix it, or just clicking the Stop/Start button?
