Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

Hi,

Thanks for the response. I realize that was pretty vague :-)

I get the error message right after clicking calculate flop on maybe half of my BTN vs BB and BvB single raised pots.

The trees are not that complicated: 2 Cbetsizings and only 1 raisesize.

Here is example of an error: https://gyazo.com/dd3fd73e595d07f51eeeeb7973ee570f

changing the "load next street info" to "none" didn't change anything about the RAM required to solve.

These are my current settings: https://gyazo.com/db438c92b6058af60720179720125581

This tree requires about 24GB of RAM, so it is not very simple

How many RAM have your friend got?

We could propose you to switch to A1 algorithm, that should reduce memory consumption in two times.

Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

I ran a solve using one of his trees.
Our flop trees were very similar, but I used way more options on later streets, which caused required RAM to skyrocket.

In hindsight easy thing to fix on my own. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for help!

Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

Hello!

I would like to purchase sooner or later another package - I just do worry that I might make errors by setting up the scenario which would be to calculate and which would give me preflop-points

I would therefore like to ask if for a certain fee in addition to the price of the package (which I will be creating) , there would be a chance to get some personal support per teamviewer in order to create the scenario together - as said, for a pre-defined fee.
If so, who could i contact about it and where?

Also, do you plan at some point to potentially start a non-russian speaking skypegroup again, like it was at the very beginning the case.

Ah and maybe just a side-question out of curiosity (of course you do not need to answer this one):
Do many russian/belarus/ukraine HSNL-CG-Regs use simplepostflop for offgame work?

Best Regards,
Zrebna

These guys are scammers, BE WARNED! The UNLIMITED licence ($700) is not unlimited, if you reinstall windows on your computer they will ask for another $150 for a new key!

The software is rarely updated and no new features unlike Pio. If you are in doubt for which to buy, do yourself a favour and get Pio!

Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

I found a bug, likely the result of floating points. Under bet sizing, set "Size of bet: Fixed 1.00" and also check "Round bet to nearest: 0.25". SimplePosflop will incorrectly round the sizing to 1.25 instead of 1.00.

Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

Can packages be purchased and used with the free version of the program, or can we only use packages if we have the full version?

Sorry for the double post, but also wondering about system requirements for the preflop packs.

Dear OBigO,

Could you please be more careful before posting accusing messages next time?
Did you try to reach out the REAL person from Simple Poker via Skype?
Did you try to join Skype conference and ask about this situation there?

You were speaking with imposter guy, who is using Skype account names similar to legal one: live:simplepoker_1, live:spoker, live:simplepostflop11, etc.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL. THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE SPF SUPPORT ACCOUNT: simplepoker
OTHER ACCOUNTS ARE FAKE!

Regarding your case. We have never asked anybody to pay additional money for new keys! There are a lot of situations when users ask to activate new license after they have reinstall OS or switched to another PC. And we are doing it manually for FREE even after providing two licenses for standalone…

Regarding Pio:
1) We do respect our competitor and I’m not going to compare our products;
2) We have the same number of updates as Pio;
3) We have implement SPF for 3-way spots;
4) We are going to release another beta application until this week;

We are working hard and trying to improve our applications.

I hope, we can handle this situation via Skype or in private messages.

Best,
Simple Poker team.

Re: Simple Postflop - Advanced Preflop and Postflop GTO Solver

Hi,

I've been playing around with the free version, put a royal flush as the board, and noticed a couple oddities:

1. It seems to think when you hold an offsuit 9, you have a flush, not a straight flush. Doesn't seem to have affected the results so I think this is just a cosmetic bug.

2. With no rake, it gave some random results, which is fine as long as it never says to fold (which it didn't). When I added a 5% rake with 1.00 cap, it said both players should 100% check, which I expect. But, oddly, it says that in the situation where Player 2 bets, Player 1 should jam. I would think call would be the correct play. It also says Player 2 should fold 50% to the jam, which is obviously wrong (and is presumably the reason why it says Player 1 should jam).

Does the program not bother with accurate calculations in branches where one player has made a non-GTO play? Or is that just a bug?

edit: when I turned on rounding, it put "nan%" for Player 2's actions there, but still said Player 1 should jam.

Cheers!

Hi, thank you for reporting!
Would be fixed in the next version. Right now, you can switch off rounding in settings.

Hi, sorry for a delay in response

You can use Packs in a free version. Packs contain already calculated preflop situations and flops from a subset. Turn and river could be calculated in free version of SPF. So, purchasing packs allows you to conduct complete analysis.

There are no high system requirements on using packs. Just general one for running SPF.
