+1

I'll start using PT3 as soon as upgrading to the next beta is slightly less painful. And I do want to start using it soon, so here's another vote

Filtering system is getting a major upgrade for the next beta. Filtering for reports will be easier.

Likely/unlikely?
Lateksi (and the +1s),

seeing this I just posted the manual method for full HH export in the PT3 SQL forum - post there if you have trouble using it: http://www.pokertracker3.com/forums/...hp?f=18&t=1231

What is quicker, converting a PT2 database or importing the equivalent in HH?

HH files I think - fastest of all is a huge text file. I may well be wrong however, not tried a convert in ages.

Are you accounting for the time required for PT2 to export the hands first? IIRC - PT2 doesnt exactly fly while exporting HH's.

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 5 Release - 27-Feb-08)

I'm exporting from PT2 as we speak.

It seems to take about 1 minute for every 10k hands.

If you need to export the hand histories then the total time to export plus import would take a little longer than to convert; however, if you have the hand histories already on disk it would be faster to manually import them.

The one advantage to exporting your hand histories when converting is if you need to recreate a database at a later date, you can do it much faster.

Best regards,

Derek

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 5 Release - 27-Feb-08)

For sure - I Export and RAR my HH's regularly, and save them to a separate partition, as well as upload to a file hosting site. When my PC died, and I had to reformat, it was pretty simple to recreate all my DB's by extracting all my old HH's and importing again. Saving the exported HH (compressed) requires much less space than backing up the SQL DB.

Will there be an option on the HUD to show the VPIP/PFR from various positions at a 6max tables? Like VPIP/PFR on button, 1, 2, 3, BB, SB, etc?

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 5 Release - 27-Feb-08)

Is the PT3 website sending confirmation emails properly?

I tried to sign up on the forum (in order to get the AHK hud) and I don't seem to be getting the confirmation emails.

(Unless they take quite a while. I've only waited 5 minutes, but what can I say? I'm impatient and automated emails should be quick

If this is a known bug can someone from PT3 just shoot me a quick confirmy so I can get onto the forums and get the HUD? I'd really appreciate it.

I used the same username for the PT3 forums as I have here (kraada) and the email address is my gmail account. If you need confirmation that I in fact know what it is PM me and I'll reply; I just don't want my email in open forum.

Thanks, I really appreciate it and look forward to using PT3 starting in the morning!

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 5 Release - 27-Feb-08)

Sorry for the double post; I can't edit.

Apparently it just takes a while.

I have the confirmation email now.

That's what I get for being too eager, I suppose.
