Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 4 Release - 13-Feb-08)

Sorry I didn't read 82 pages but do you guys have your tiered upgrade cost set?

If so, what would someone who bought PTv2+PAHUD about a year ago pay?

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 4 Release - 13-Feb-08)

I'll do that Peli.

Also another error I noticed. For the three limits I play, it says i've played 0.08 hours, 14.95 hours and 31.93 hours, yet the total number of hours says 32.05 in the bottom line? Or am I just reading that incorrectly?

EDIT: Also, the stats W$WSF and W$SD are both incorrect compared to my PT2 and Hold'em Manager databases. Those two match up, but PT3 is higher on both counts.

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 4 Release - 13-Feb-08)

some quick questions.

First, my computer decided it didnt like itself last night, and i had to reformat, i had my second version of p2 on there.

My question is this, Should i just wait for pt 3? I dont want to buy 2 and then rebuy 3 right after.

Also, ive checking out the beta of pt3, and for some reason it WILL detect i have FT hands but it will not detect my name, or any of my later hands. Why is this? it detects my stars stuff fine fwiw.

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 4 Release - 13-Feb-08)

Ive changed from Pokerstars to UltimateBet, but since then PT3 hasnt been working for me anymore. When i try to manually import a HH, i receive the following error:

2008/02/14 13:15:13: Import file: F:\poker\Hand Histories\Pleasant Grove 1.txt
2008/02/14 13:15:13: Unrecognized file format.

Is there any possibility to solve this problem? I already tried it with UltimateHistory, which automatically saves the HHs into another folder after converting, but PT3 is still giving me the same error message.

Im aware that this question mightve been asked before and feel sorry for not reading through the whole thread before asking, but i actually tried the search engine and besides UltimateHistory it didnt give me any thread about UB and PT3.

Under what tab are you looking at these hour reports? Depending on what tab you're viewing, these numbers might be different if you for instance have been multitabling. There are, so to speak, stats for table hours but also "real" hours. In your case, it sounds like it might be a too small difference to be because of multitabling though, so I'm not sure at this time.

Also, in regard to your edit, I'll repost what Josh posted on the official forums in the release thread:

So stats such as Won $ At Showdown and Won When Saw Flop will be a little higher in PT3 than in PT2.

PT3 doesn't support UltimateBet at this point. For now it only supports PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Party Gaming sites.

If you multi-table more than one limit, the total hours will be different than the sum of the hours for all the individual limits.

Request a new code from Pat (support@pokertracker.com). You don't need to purchase PT2 again.

I'm not sure what you mean about detecting your name or any of your later hands. Can you please elaborate on this?

pokertracker3.com doesn't seem to work anymore. I'm also unable to start pokertracker3 at this point.

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 4 Release - 13-Feb-08)

Is it possible to change the background color? I'm so used to the eye friendly grey of PokerTracker.

Will there be an option to export hands?

Dumping a database doesn't work all the time, for example I had to format my computer due to a virus and one database wouldn't dump at all (maybe that was due to the virus because it caused a buffer overrun) but the other database dumped correctly, but when I wanted to restore it, I got an error. Thankfully I still have the exported hand histories.

when i anylyze the database, my name on FTP (WCGRider) does not appear on the list as a player. There is no info, no name, nada. However there are a bunch of hands of people i played with.

But as i used it a bit more, even some of the people i played with later stopped being added to the list.

hope its more clear.

I think you have to restart the application, because I had a similar problem that there were only 50 players in the list after a hand import, after a restart all players I thought should be there came up.

EDIT: Ok, maybe hitting the refresh button would have done it too.

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 4 Release - 13-Feb-08)

I was able to convert PT2 database with 112K hands in 25mins @ ~68/sec while datamining at the same time. No errors or problems, thanks!

flg_t_saw boolean DEFAULT false,

flg_r_saw boolean DEFAULT false,

Seems like those fields were deleted, and the royal flush thing was added? Is that it and why were those deleted? Seemed pretty useful to me.
