Something went very wrong. Out of the 500k hands I imported, its showing me that I only played 100k hands and only at Party. I should have a bunch on hands on FTP. In player summary there's a long error message of stuff I don't understand and it finishes off with "ERROR: division by zero". Also, the player statistics has me down $600,000 at $0 NL

Huh?

Like if you raise in the CO and the Button calls, it isn't an attempt?

I def. think we should just keep that the same, if not for anything at least for standardized reasons since we are used to the same numbers.

Re: PokerTracker 3: Beta Released

while importing my hands pt just shut down (but it found the douplicates in the DB after restarting it once) after restarting it again PT tried to create a new Postgre DB... i was running at 70h/hour

dont know why ...

but its possible that my computer sucks :-)

i am know forced to re-import every hand history (into a new db with the same name?)... what happened to the database i've created first?

why did it recognize the duplicates after i've restarted it once ...

There was a problem with one of the limits it imported. Do you have pgAdmin installed on your computer? If so, do you know how to run queries?

I agree that it's a steal attempt. But for the blinds, is it still a steal defense if the button called?

Instead of creating the database again, just enter the db name you used before and check the exists checkbox. Though it should have saved those settings the first time you entered them.

PT3 doesn't keep track of where you are in the import yet, so it's forced to go through all the hands again.

I'm exhausted right now, so if you would, please make a support ticket in our system and we'll work on figuring out what went wrong.

He said ATSB, so I was only talking about attempt to steal blinds.

For defense? Hrm. I don't necessarily think so. I know if I call after a CO raise / Button call it isn't to "defend" anything. Defending there would be called stupid. By then you are calling because of Hand strength or Implieds with some suited. I don't think you should be "defending" OOP vs two players, so I wouldn't consider that a defense.

not imo. if the BTN calls your CO steal, that is a "attempted steal gone wrong" (unless it was a value raise )

Re: PokerTracker 3: Beta Released

if a CO raise is an ATS then a MP raise should be a ATS and then a UTG raise .....

.........

where is the "Attempt to steal own blinds" tab?

Wow, guess I am either blind or need to adjust my monitor then. I will try the latter before assuming the former.

On another note:

I exported all hands from PT2 to text and imported them to PT3. Mostly because I didnt take my time to notice the direct convert menu commmand. Now when I compare PT2 (which matches my HM DB) to PT3 for this month, 48 hands are missing from PT3 on every tab, except the graph tab, that are in my other 2 Trackers DB's. 5089 in PT2 and 5041 in PT2/HM.

So PT3 Graph tab shows a profit of $200+ and 5,089 hands played. Every other tab in PT3 shows the 5,041 hands played and only $70.xx of profit. PT2/HM both accurately show 5,089 hands and $116.xx profit.

I assumed some hands got missed??? until I noticed how silly the graph tab was compared to every other tab in PT3 - all of which are completely wrong from what PT2 and HM both say.

I will look at this later, because I would just rather play some cards right now.

You can't start messing with these stats now, it was fine before. If I see a player with an ATSB of 40%, I am assigning a range to that player based on that number. That someone happened to call behind him is irrelevant. The way the number is now, you made it context dependent. (ex; Does the player play in loose games or tight games? If he plays in loose games, now the number will be much lower.) Then you have situations where a player who plays on loose party games has a certain ATSB, while somebody who plays on Stars may be stealing with the exact same range, but his ATSB will be higher. Redic.

Agree with Prodigys take on blind defense as well.
