Yeah 14 hands in that file. 27,72,36,49,8 in other recent files. 75 of 693 files imported and 2171 hands in all so far.

What version of PostgreSQL are you using? Did you use the version that PT3 comes with?

If you have problems with other software, it's likely not something we can fix. Please create a support ticket on the site and we'll work with you some more on this.

So - if someone has a PT2 Access DB, they can download PT3 and it will do the SQL Install. After setting up PT3 they could then go and convert their PT2 DB to SQL as well?? Without having to go thru the standard SQL install/setup as most of us PT2 users did?

If this is in response to me, no I already had PostgresSQL set up from when i downloaded the HoldemManager beta so I dl'ed the PT3 w/o PSQL. I was able to connect to it when I first opened pokertracker and I set the database name as PT3.

Re: PokerTracker 3: Beta Released

Im getting the following error when I load Postgres. I will try unistalling and deleting all the files then reinstalling

The files belonging to this database system will be owned by user "postgres".
This user must also own the server process.

The database cluster will be initialized with locale C.

initdb: directory "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.2/data" exists but is not empty
If you want to create a new database system, either remove or empty
the directory "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.2/data" or run initdb
with an argument other than "C:/Program Files/PostgreSQL/8.2/data".

af0808, are PT2 retrieval speeds incredibly slow for you?

fozzy71, that doesn't seem hard to notice to me, unless I'm missing something.

Re: PokerTracker 3: Beta Released

oh noes i've tried to begin auto-importing twice now and both times pt3 has become unresponsive

i've been using postgresql for a while now with pt2, and downloaded the pt3 version w/out postgresql. after going through the setup process it seemed to create a new database for pt3 just fine though.

Looks like you uninstalled PostgreSQL at one point and didn't delete the installation directory. You may also need to start a command prompt (Start -> Run, "cmd" <enter>) and type "net user postgres /delete". After doing that, PostgreSQL should install fine.

PT3 doesn't count it as an attempt if it's called before it gets to the blinds. I'm still undecided as to if we should keep it that way or not.

Does the PokerTracker.log file (in the main PT3 directory) show any indication of a problem?

Sorry, I never used PT2 except for the free trial so I dont really know. If I remembr correctly, loading the hands into HM was pretty slow a couple of hours maybe, but not like 16. This folder im loading from is the Pstars folder where it automatically saves them and only has about a month worth's of hands, probably no more than 50k in all i think.
