I thought beta 11 was supposed to fix the HUD disappearing issue. The problem isn't as prevalent, but it is definitely still there.

Not yet, but there will be.

Not automatically. You'd have to export the hands from one and import them into the other.

You can't filter on individual players yet.

I'm working on the lag problem. Positional stats will be available in the Hud but aren't currently in there.

Can PT and the HUD detect the edge of the screen and adjust positioning accordingly? I don't remember having a problem with the old hud in this regard.
The popup positioning issue is a known problem. I'll get it fixed.

Most people who are having lag problems are playing 8+ tables with huge databases. Most people who use PT don't play that many tables. That means that this won't affect most new PT3 customers, and the lag should be taken care of within two weeks or so of commercial release.

If you are having crashes, that's a different problem. The next time it happens, please attach the PokerTracker.log file to a support ticket along with a description of what you were doing at the time.

A cold call is the number of times you called a preflop raise without having any money in the pot prior. It's not a percentage but an actual count (this will be changing).

I take it back...it is just as prevalent. I have complete tables with no stats and am frantically trying to reset throughout my session. Most tables are missing about 1/3 of villain's stats.

I really wish you guys hadn't expired beta 9 before you fixed this issue.

Re: PokerTracker 3 (Beta 11 Release - 06-May-2008) - incl. HUD!

So I just installed beta 11 and I get the following error when I start autoimport:

Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: PokerTracker is configured to import into an outdated database. This must be corrected before an import can succeed.

This is the same db I've been using on the previous betas. Does this mean I have to create a new one for v. 11? Do I have to download v. 11 With PostgreSQL again (I didn't have to do this for the previous versions)? How do I create a new db if that's the case?

Thanks for the help

Yes, you have to make a new database. It has been answered earlier in the thread; I suggest you use the search feature (or go a couple pages back).

Sorry, I must have read through the last 10 pages or so and I couldn't see it.

Thanks for the help though!

Great software

Not sure if this has been asked

Anyway to reset your own stats on the HUD at a Headsup table when another new player sits down against you?

TY in advance

Hey,

I'm the developer of EverestPoker Dataminer which creates Everest XML HH files by observing tables. The files it produces look exactly the same as the files Everest produces when you play yourself and they import fine into PT2 and HEM.

Today I tried to import some of these observed Everest hands into PT3 and it gave me the following error:
Code:
2008/05/08 22:29:56: Import beginning
2008/05/08 22:29:56: Import file:	Bamako-0 06-05-2008 05.40.41.txt
2008/05/08 22:29:56: Unrecognized file format.
2008/05/08 22:29:56: Import complete. 0 hands in 1 file were imported. (0 errors, 0 duplicates)
Now this problem is most likely caused by PT3 expecting hole cards to be present. How can we resolve this? I doubt it will be a big deal to fix, because the format is almost exactly the same (also indicated by the fact that PT2 does import them). I can send you observed HH files, just tell me where/when/how etc

If it turns out the files the Dataminer produces does have something missing I will of course be able to fix that on my end. I couldn't find what exactly went wrong when looking through PT3 log files; it only said Unrecognized file format.

Thanks,
Rob.

Yes. A full PokerTracker 3 license will have a one time fee of $89.99. This includes the Tracker and the built in Hud.

We have decided to start accepting preorders. If you are an existing PokerTracker and PokerAce Hud owner, you will get your discount applied from the date you order, not the date PT3 is officially commercially released. In other words, if you just bought PokerTracker 2, and decide in 7 months to upgrade to PokerTracker 3, you will fall under the "< 1 year" bracket.

A license entitles you to free 3.xx upgrades of PT3 Holdem. When new add-ons come out, you may be required to purchase a separate license for them, even if they run out of the same interface. For example, when PT3 Omaha is released, it will likely run in the same application, within its own tab, but you will probably have to buy an additional license to use it.

Here is the upgrade information:

purchased < 2 months - 100% ($10 to upgrade - Discounted: $55 PT2, $25 PA Hud)
purchased < 6 months - 60% ($42 to upgrade - Discounted: $33 PT2, $15 PA Hud)
purchased < 1 year - 40% ($58 to upgrade - Discounted: $22 PT2, $10 PA Hud)
purchased > 1 year - 20% ($74 to upgrade - Discounted: $11 PT2, $5 PA Hud)

* Upgrade costs assume PA Hud purchase as well.

We have also stopped direct sales of PokerTracker 2 Holdem. Instead, you now pre-order PokerTracker 3, and get a free copy of PokerTracker 2 Holdem and PokerAce Hud, if you wish to use them. This way, not only do you get an immediate upgrade to PT3 once it's commercially released, but you also get to use PT2 + PA Hud in the meantime, and even afterwards for sites and features that PT3 doesn't have yet.

Please attach some XML files created by your software to a support ticket on our site. I'll get it working.
