I don't have a full list for that but ProPokerHUDs may have something like this available. You could also build these yourself as custom statistics in PokerTracker 4.

Hey - I have a problem where I cannot even open PT4 at all as it comes up with an error:

"A monitor program has been found running in your system. Please, unload it from memory and restart your program."

The only thing I can think that I changed which may have caused this is I downloaded the Microsoft Process Monitor to track changes to my registry for some debugging of another program. It's a standalone .exe so wasn't installed and I've subsequently deleted it because I'm done with it.

Really keen to get this resolved ASAP as I use PT4 every day - any suggestions?

Resolved it by resetting my computer to an earlier point - can advise against anyone downloading Process Monitor, fwiw.

Thanks for the update. In order to protect our software from potential piracy PokerTracker 4 will not start up if a debugger has been loaded into memory at any time since the last reboot.

Understandable, but regrettable that you need to do this (especially when you offer such a great product at a reasonable price) because I was purely using this for a peaceful application, and it was very disconcerting to not be able to open PT4!

Furthermore, in resetting my computer, I have lost several hours of work which will not be recoverable now. That's not to say I fault this function of your software for this, exactly - I just want to make you aware of this side effect, should you wish to reconsider it at some point.

Hi,

I played today for $ on stars and also played in a home game for playmoney on stars. I realized PT4 was importing the play money hands from my harddrive even though I did not have it open when I was using play money. As such these hands are in my DB and showing up/affected my winrate. I was able to get around this by filtering to only show the real money stakes I play, but is there any way for me to stop this going forward? Both by stopping it from adding these hands and remove all current play money hands in my DB?

Thanks

This process is automatic and protects our software however it is nothing personal against you and I will forward your comments. If it happens again you should be able to save your work and when you restart your computer PokerTracker 4 will open as long as no debuggers are loaded when Windows starts. Apologies for any inconvenience.

PokerStars will still be saving the hands to your computer whether you are using PokerTracker 4 or not so the next time you use PokerTracker 4 those hands will get picked up. If you do not want to that to happen you can either delete the play money hands from your PokerStars folder after a play money session or temporarily disable the option to save your hands. You can also remove the hands that have imported by purging them from your database.

ipoker twisters aren't importing hands correctly. Lots of

"06:30:33 pm: Error: iPoker: Invalid pot size for hand #7608617883
06:30:35 pm: Error: iPoker: Invalid pot size for hand #7608617872
"

75% of hands have errors, likely due to antes. Please look into it.

Thank you! Do you have any idea if I can limit what stakes pokerstars saves?

What does observed hands mean? I saw that when I went to purge hands.

The development team are aware of this issue so if you want a notification when the fix is released please open a Support Ticket and in the meantime you can revert to PokerTracker v4.14.24 where those hands will import.

There isn't an option for saving/not saving hands from different stakes in the PokerStars client. Also observed hands mean that there is no Hero in the hand (i.e a player dealt known hole cards in the hand history) however most sites, if not all the sites we support, no longer save observed hand histories and will only provide hand histories where you have been dealt into a hand.

From the Winning Poker Network lobby, click on 'Game Info -> View Hand History', click 'Options' and make sure 'Save My Hand History' is enabled. Also if you are playing Jackpot games then WPN do not write hand histories for these games as you play however it is possible to download the hand histories afterwards from the Jackpots lobby and import them into PokerTracker 4. If that's not the problem then please reproduce this issue and send your log file to us in a Support Ticket:

THanks,i have the option enable,i mostly play Jackpots,i imported hands and everything OK, even PT4 recognizes my username, but i think the HUd symbol of PT4 should appear in sesion in order to see in game the hands i previously imported no?

So, i should be able to see X hands previously imported about Y villain if i am playing with him?

I also tried a cash game and the HUD still doesn´t appear

Thanks again!

There needs to be a current hand history file for the table so PokerTracker 4 can attach a HUD to it so there will be no HUD in this case. If required you can check your current opponents stats in your PokerTracker 4 reports or in the replayer.

Hi, what's the best way of syncing my PT4 notes back and forth between two computers? Is the database > notes > export/import working for this? Also, is it possible to do the same for marked hands, where I sync the tags made for hands between two computers?

I have a large database, so backup/restore every time is a bit time consuming, and if I remember correctly it doesn't export/import the marked hands tags. It's easier for me to just go into the processed folders and manual import the HHs between computers.

Both notes and tags are transferred using backup/restore however keeping two separate databases in sync isn't as straight forward. You can export/import notes via 'Database -> Notes' which is OK if you are merging different notes from two databases or if you only ever transfer data from one database to another but if the same note exists in both databases then the note text is appended meaning that it will be doubled up so this isn't ideal if you are going to import notes from one database into another and then back again e.t.c.

With regards to marked hands they can only be transferred by backing up a database and restoring that database to another computer and they cannot be imported/exported separately from one database to another as you can for player notes. If one of your computers can always be on even when not playing poker from it then another option is to have both computers sharing the same PostgreSQL/database.

Yeah, I feared something like that would happen when using export/import notes.

This will require playing on the same network, right? I only play on the laptop when I'm away from home (where my desktop is), so that wouldn't work.

Guess I have to continue with the backup/restore option. Thanks for your answers!

Hi Rob,

I signed up for 888 last night. I went ahead and followed your instructions here and created an alias for my Stars name and 888 name. However, I couldn't seem to figure out if there was a way I could have my names on the two sites separate, and then also set it up with an alias of them together.

I'd like to do this so I could see my results on each individual site and then my overall results on both sites combined.

Thanks!

Once the names are aliased that cannot be done however you can filter your results by site using 'More Filters -> Game Details -> Sites -> ...'.

Noob question on filters

I'm trying to isolate hands where the max raise preflop was a 2bet, the big blind calls closing the action and the hand goes to showdown so we get to see BBs hand.

I have Max Raise = 2bet and Showdown = Yes but I'm only really interested in hands where the BB peels pre and gets to showdown

Any help appreciated, cheers!
