Hi, I downloaded the free trial version of poker tracker. I don't understand why it does not seem to work. I can see when there is a section 'view import status' where I see approximately what I play (the tournaments and S&go)...

But when I click on 'active table' 'summary' 'active tables' 'today's hands' or any useful options, no information is there.

Thank you!

It seems to say 'unrecognized file format'. I don't understand why

Ok I figured out we must save hand history in English. But now I seem to see a couple of things, but not 'Today's hands'

Please check your Poker Site(s) are configured correctly with PokerTracker 4 using the guides in this link:

Site Configuration Guide

With regards to your hands make certain that you are looking in the proper section of PokerTracker – cash game data ($) and tournament data (T) are separated so if you have imported only one type of data you would not see it in the other section. There are also filters for Hand reports above the report, specifically the checkbox labeled “Show Marked Hands Only” and the drop down for tagging. Make certain that checkbox is unchecked and that the drop down says No Tags Selected by unchecking any checked tags.

Has anyone had trouble with PT4 reading ignition tables incorrectly? Playing 100nl and they're recorded at 50nl. The card catcher is reading it as 100nl though if that helps any which leads me to believe its PT4

I have not seen any other reports of that. At this time PokerTracker 4 does not support Ignition so I would suggest asking if that's a known issue in this thread.

I just got a pt4 full code and was hoping that my carbon poker 100nl hands would be imported from earlier this week but even doing site import didn't bring them up Current played hands are importing. Any way to get my recent older hands added to my graph?

Any HH files which were generated previously will have been moved to the 'Processed' folder so that they aren't read again when you next start 'Get Hands While Playing'. To import those use 'Get Hands From Disk' and import from the 'Processed' folder.
You can see where the Processed folder is by going to Configure > Sites & Import Options > Preferences, but by default it's at:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\PokerTracker 4\Processed

--WhiteRider

By default PokerTracker 4 moves your processed hand histories to your \PokerTracker 4\Processed folder which you can access via the "File -> Open User Data Folder" option.

Guide: Processed Files

To import your prior higher stakes hands select "Get Hands From Disk" after clicking "Play Poker". Choose "Select Directory" to import all of the hands found in a folder, or "Select Files" to only import specific hand history files that you choose. You do not need to worry about selecting any smaller stakes hands that have already imported since they will be recognised as duplicates and PokerTracker 4 will skip the import of those hands.

Is there a way to change my HUD to display my stats other than for the session? For example, I want filter my HUD to show my stats from the past 3 months instead of my stats for the session. Is this possible? I'm playing on ACR, btw.

It looks like this isn't possible.

I'm having an issue on ACR where I have to unlock my HUD and move one set of stats to another player. For my 6 max tables this always overlays the set of stats for the top right player onto the seat immediately to the left of my preferred seat, which is the bottom center. This is also the case for my 9 max tables, though I believe they are different seats.

That is correct as PokerTracker 4 is designed to only show your session stats in the HUD. It is much more beneficial to see your session stats at each table to get an idea of how aggressive or passive people will see you since you sat at that table. You have no way to know which of your opponents are using trackers, and if they are how many hands they have on you, or which hands, so PokerTracker 4 shows statistics which indicate your current table image.

After you move the HUD make sure to save the new positions for future tables by clicking the PT-icon and choosing "Save Layout".

What is the largest size database PT4 can handle without issues for HUD or running reports?

I have an SSD drive 465gb, i7-6700l CPU and 32gb ram if that helps at all?

Performance depends on many factors and there isn't a fixed maximum size of database. Additionally you should note that things will run more efficiently if you have free disk space available and PostgreSQL in particular can be slower if it doesn't have as much free space to work with as the size of your biggest database.

My old comp is broke and i have already two licences running one on my computer thsts broke and my other on old laptop.

I want to buy a brand new computer this week. Can i get my licence code from email and make it my 2nd licence as my old computer is broken.

Also regarding hands. How many hands do u advise keeping and putting into the new database? I literally have millions on that hard drive .

Specs for new comp to get pt4 running real smooth again? Size of ssd? I7 processor? Alot of ram? Ik thinking 128gb

That is not a problem. You can use PokerTracker 4 on up to two computers that you own and operate at any one time, but if you uninstall from one computer you can install on another so you won't invalidate your license in this way. (If you're not able to uninstall for any reason as long as the old install isn't used any more there won't be a problem). The PokerTracker license always grants simultaneous use on two different machines and you always get to pick which two, even if it's not the same two you started with.

To register PokerTracker 4 on a new computer you will need to use the same PokerTracker 4 registration code that was initially provided to you and, if you opened an account, is located directly on the PokerTracker website under My Account -> Registration Codes.

A solid state drive will give you a performance improvement - how much will depend on the size of your database and the rest of the components in your computer, but an SSD will be noticeably faster than an HDD. As I mentioned in another reply above there isn't a fixed maximum size of database however things will run more efficiently if you have free disk space available and PostgreSQL in particular can be slower if it doesn't have as much free space to work with as the size of your biggest database.

If you're using any security software (such as antivirus, firewall), make sure to follow the instructions given in the Security Software Configuration Guide then reboot your computer to see if that helps. If it doesn't please open a Support Ticket and report your problem so that we can check your log file to see what is going on.

Suggested this one for HEM2, but they haven't implemented it and switched over to PT4 recently:

Is there street-by-street EV, rather than regular EV? If not, would it be possible to implement?
With street-by-street EV I mean (money put in preflop*equity)+(money put in flop*equity)+(money put in turn*equity)+(money put in river*equity).

Would be valuable in esp. Omaha I think, where often you get a lot of your stack in with decent equity just to get it in on the next street where another player picks up a major equity shift card (even though we might have 5-10% PSB left to wager). So the last street where betting occurs does not reflect well at all your EV throughout the hand, and creates a lot unnecessary noise in your sample when you're trying to determine your true EV-winrate.

My pokerstars client hotkeys stopped working when I launch my HUD. I just got a new laptop and set everything up again, it hasn't been an issue before. Any quick fixes/ideas?

Thanks

Hi guys,

How to change currency from $ to € in the calendar on the results tab? I have my results in $ but my tourneys are in euros.

Thanks.
