I cant seem to find the hands that are missing, they are not visible in the PartyPoker folder either (as they apparently are not saved nowadays).

How to tackle this problem? Is there a way to get the hands tracked from the very first hand? Can I somehow still import the missing hands and from where?

Thanks.
Strange one. What we really need is the hand history. The hands are written in one file per table not individual files so if the first few didn't import either Party didn't write them for some reason or there was an import issue.

Please send us that hand historyfile from the path you set it to import from in configure > sites configuration > Partypoker but it is usually C:/Programs/PartyGaming/PartyPoker/HandHistory and also tell us the holecards for the missing hands next time it happens.

Please attach the hand history to a support ticket so that we can look into it further.

I re-indexed and that worked.

Thanks for the reply.

I do not see any hand histories in the HandHistory-folder. If I have understood correctly, PartyPoker does not save hand histories locally anymore because of their new privacy policies.

I have now sent a support ticket to PT4. I have included the handID that I found from the PartyPoker client's Hand history -section. I hope they can help

Is there a way to always have my Full Ring tables "Treat as 10 max" It sucks having to do it manually everytime I sit at a new table to get the HUDS lining up properly.

How do I make my HUD stats just show the current session at each individual table? On ALL my tables they are cumulative and identical

And is there a way when starting up PT4 to automatically have it "Get Hands While Playing"? It's distracting if I forget to hit it everytime I start a new session.

PokerTracker 4 moves your processed hand histories to your Processed folder which you can access via the "File -> Open User Data Folder" option.

Guide: Processed Files

Party Poker recently made their tables anonymous until you are dealt in, and they have a bug related to this which means that in the first hand the player names are anonymous (e.g. Player 1, Player 2 e.t.c.) for the first part of the first hand at each table which means that PokerTracker 4 can't import those hands. This is an issue which Party will need to fix although if you manually change the player names you may be able to get those hands to import.

Some sites do not specify the table size in their hand histories so there is no indication whether you are playing full ring or 6 max, for example. When the 'Automatically Apply Treat As' option is enabled (in Configure > Sites & Import Options > Preferences) PT4 attempts to infer the table size from the number of players involved. If you always play full ring tables you can disable the "Automatically Apply Treat As" option.

You can change to session stats by double clicking the HUD background or right-clicking the HUD and selecting "Session Stats". When session stats are on the HUD background will turn red. You can also change to session stats for all players at the table by clicking the PT icon on the table and selecting "Set All to Table Session Stats".

There is no option to have hand importing start automatically at this time.

Hi,

I 'm searching on how to asign different popup windows on the same table group (on different stats). It seems to me that i must create different table groups for each popup window i want to use.... is there a way for this?

I have Automatically apply treat as" turned off, but I still have to manually change it on the table HUD to treat as 10 max for the HUDs to align.

Also, while sitting at each table, I want MY HUD stats set as table session stats. But I want villians HUDs set to lifetime stats.

We are going to see if we can reproduce. In the meantime please confirm everything is setup as per the Ipoker speed configuration guide and if the issue still persists open a Support Ticket and report your problem with a log so that we can see what is going on.

Can you explain a little about what games you play? It will help in explaining the solution. Do you play full ring only or also 6max and HU.

Can you go to Hud > Hud Options > Profile Select and post a screenshot of your profile setup. If you read the selecting hud profiles guide you might be able to resolve the issue yourself in the meantime. If not we should be able to guide you once you provide us with the information requested.

Regarding the session stats that is how the HUD works by default, Hero showing session stats and villains lifetime stats. You can also toggle between showing the villains lifetime and session stats by clicking on the HUD icon. The Heroes HUD always remains as session stats regardless.

I play FR 10 max only.

I have another much bigger problem tho, every couple weeks or so, PT4 will randomly be unable to connect postgres. So each time I have turned of WIndows 10 Defender,Firewall, and uninstalled all antivirus, and it still doesn't connect. So I have to uninstall Postgres, and reinstall Postgres. However, each time I have to create new database, and loose all my player stats. Since its random I don't have a backup database created. This SUCKS! what is going on how do I prevent this. Thanks

That sounds like something is preventing PostgreSQL from starting when your computer does so make sure to follow the instructions given in the Security Software Configuration Guide.

If you do have a PostgreSQL connection issue again then instead of reinstalling PostgreSQL locate and delete the postmaster.pid file if it is present (not "postmaster.opts" which may be there too). You can find that file in C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\9.3\data\ although you may have a different PostgreSQL version (e.g. 8.4, 9.0) or have it installed in C:\Program Files (x86). Once it's deleted, reboot and try PokerTracker 4 again.

I followed all the Security Software guides, and it still wouldn't connect with exclusions in kapersky, I had to uninstall kapersky, but even then it wouldn't, even with firewall and defender off. I checked Event viewer and it said postgres was timing out.

But anyways Is there another way to get to the database and back it up if PT4 wont connect or open? If this happens again. I found and deleted the postmaster.pid file

Did you reboot after uninstalling Kaspersky/deleting the postmaster.pid file?

You cannot backup your database if you cannot connect to PostgreSQL. If you install the same major version of PostgreSQL (e.g. 8.4, 9.3 e.t.c) using the original data folder that may allow you to connect to your original database again.

Guides: How to Reinstall PostgreSQL

PokerTracker 4 also moves your processed hand histories to your "Processed" folder so if you cannot access that data you can reimport the hands you need (Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk"):

Guide: Processed Files

If you have any further trouble please open a Support Ticket and report your problem so that we can check your PokerTracker 4 and PostgreSQL log files.

new to pt4. trying out the trial and it seems to not be working properly. the hud is in wrong position on acr tables and i can not correct. is this something with trial version or perhaps with using it on acr? I would like to purchase but i do not want to buy it if it wont work properly. thanks

I color code my stats in my HUD, i.e. PFR is blue.
I am customizing my popups, Is there a way to make all the PFR blue at the same time? Or do I have to painstakingly go thru every instance in the popup (like each position) and change each PFR stat to blue?

I still can't get my Hero HUD stats at tables to show current session, it shows cumulative. All villain stats are correct and cumulative like they should be.

I want to see my stats for current session ALWAYS displayed ( w/out having to click and go red) so I know how my opponents perceive me.

If you are using preferred seating on ACR you would want to refer to this guide. On ACR the HUD will appear after the first hand is imported, but it will not adjust the positioning for your preferred seat until you have played one hand and that has been imported.

You can also move the HUD panels anywhere you like. The HUD placed on the table is locked in position to avoid accidentally moving the HUD while playing but you can move the HUD to new locations on the table by holding the Control key while dragging the HUD (Command key if you are on a Mac).

You can also click the PT-icon and select "Unlock Layout" to move the HUD around on the table without the need to hold the control key. When you have your HUD placed where you want then you should then save the positions by clicking the PT-icon and choosing "Save Layout".
