I have two computers and trying to get cloud sync working.

I have a processed folder on each computer that's "shared" on Dropbox, but it doesn't seems like the new hands get to the shared folder on dropbox. The latest hand in dropbox is from Januari 16 but I have played since on both computers. So I I have all hands from earlier than Januari 16 on both computers but after that they're separated.

Dropbox has two folders, Processed1 and Processed2. And those are shared from Computer1 and Computer2 with correct, Computer1 should import from Processed2 and Computer2 from Processed1 right?

I have an Intermittent issue with party poker mtts. Occasionally when I move table the hud stops working. It doesn't happen everytime move and when it does it is still working on the other tables.

I am not sure if this is a pt4 issue or actually a party poker issue. I tried to manually locate the hand histories it was missing in the processed files and it was not there. Neither was the hh in the past hh folder.

Any ideas?

The data that has been converted in in your database and will be safe. I suspect something may be misconfigured and PT4 may be trying to import from a folder that has a lot of files when those files don't contain hands. It's difficult to say without more information. If you let it continue it should definitely be done by now and if not you can close PT4 via Task Manager. If it finished and you experience these problems on import or if you just closed PT4 and are having trouble when you click Get Hands While Playing, restart PT4 using the logging enabled link on your Start Menu, reproduce this problem and send us your log file - that will help us figure out what is going on here and get it fixed for you. You can find the proper file by clicking File --> Show User Data Folder in the main PT4 window - the file we need is the text file called PokerTracker4 that is in that folder.

Right. After you import and the hands are in both machines you should move the hands to a third folder that contains everything for your backup purposes. It's always good to have a bacukp.

I'm not aware of anything specific, but if you could get us a log file via our support system for this it would be a big help, especially if you could include a screenshot. The log will tell us what windows PT4 is looking or and the screenshot will help us tell why it isn't being found.

I have a big problem with my Pokertracker 4 on MacOSX.
I'm playing on Winamax and Pokerstars, and since a month or so I couldn't run the HUD on both of the websites, otherwise my computer would just close the session and get back to the login screen (closing all the application at the same time). I then ran a few tests and disables the HUD on Winamax and it was working fine.
Thinking it was a temporary problem due to a Winamax updates I just played like this for a while, but tonight I can't even run the HUD on Pokerstars, it "crashes" the computer after only a minute or two (bringing it back to the login screen).

Any idea what it could be ?

HUD going crazy in stars, in some tables after a showdown HUD resets and disordders and goes back to normal after some hands
works ok in every other site

It's possible that the memory grabber is picking up some hands as observed hands, which would mean that the Hud wouldn't know who the hero was and that would affect the rotation and show your lifetime stats.

If you go to Configure > Sites & Import Options > PokerStars and turn off the 'Memory Grabber' option it will prevent this behaviour if I'm right.
If you continue to have problems or want to follow this up further please open a Support Ticket and report your problem so that we can check your logs, hand histories and screenshots and see what is going on.

Happened again today

I took a screenshot and have the log files but they are pretty big. Where/how do i submit them to you? (too big to post here)

Probably waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off at this point, but something I'd really like to see in PT5 is a more visual stat creation interface (basically where there's a walkthrough where you click on what you want the action to have been, and then on the next page you click on what you want the software to count). I'd also love to see automatic updating (or at least updating within the software), an in-built 'population stats' filter, and automatic backups of HUD profiles.

More immediately, I'd like two stats, the former probably easier than the latter:

1) the mean size of an open raise
2) a correlation coefficient between bet size and hand strength

I have no real idea how to make either of these though, any help?

I think I've managed to make the first one, can you confirm this is going to work for me? It's tough to test.

Zip them up and send them to us via our support system. Zipping should make them small enough to upload - if not let us know via your ticket and we'll give you another way to get them to us.

That will work - you didn't need to create that variable, you could just use cnt_p_raise_first_in in your stat directly.

Hello community! Ill try to be brief as possible. Last month I tried the 30 day trial for HM2 and really like it. This month, starting today actually, I'm trying out Poker Tracker-I believe its 4. Already I hate it compared to HM2. My question for now is how can I customize the HUD to show stats I want to see? Do I have to download a new? HUD? I saw downloadable HUD's somewhere when I googled this topic. If so, can I do that with the trial version? Do I have to pay for these downloadable HUD's? I personally find HM2 to be more intuitive but maybe that is because I tried it first and now have to get use to this program. One final thing, in case any developers are reading this, WTF is there a constant reminder that it is a trial version please upgrade when I use the HUD displayed on the poker table. It is really disruptive and doesn't do the software trial any favors. Just really ignorant of you to put that in there. It's a 1 month trial, people should be able to try it out for 1 month without a constant reminder that it is in fact a trial version. I guess it is a cheap ploy to boost sales but if the program does as it should then sales should'nt be a problem. I dunno I just needed to vent. I apologize to the community for that but not to the developers.

Huds are fully configurable within PT4 via the menu Hud > Edit Hud Profiles - check out the Hud guides for more information.
You can download Hud profiles for free from our Warehouse (there are some commercial Huds available from third parties as well with more advanced setups and stats too).

We appreciate that the trial message on the table is annoying but unfortunately it is a necessary anti-piracy measure. The message will no longer be shown should you decide to purchase, of course.

When looking at my cEV/game graph for spins are they ordered in the graph according to registration time or ending time?

I believe they are ordered by tournament start time in the graphs.

Since one or two days, PT4 doesnt seem to be able to handle the hands importing in time. Huds are not refreshing, some tables have no hud, etc. In breaks I see the number of hands imported moving very slow in het bottom right hand corner of my pt4 window.
I never used to have these performance issues before. No new software or antivirus installed.
Do you have any suggestions what to do? Database is at 3486MB..

Read through everything I could find. Tried to do housekeeping and then rebuild the custom cache and am getting this message.

The most likely cause of this is a custom column that breaks our caching. Have you added any new custom statistics or columns recently?

Looking at running a second pt4 on my laptop, think I set it up once but beef 're any of the updates plus I had to reinstall progressql to new version on my desktop, how would I go about updating said progrossql or would you think i can run pt4 without the update for progress,thanks
