HUD PokerTracker 4 for Windows & Mac OS X - 2+2 Support Thread - Page 416 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I'm wanting to filter for HU hands played vs particular opponents but can't find a 'vs player' filter anywhere like there is in HM2. Is it possible to do this?

On the front page when viewing graph where your screen name appears (top left with a drop down arrow next to it, above all the other filter options like date, tournament type, etc, etc.) you'll be able to change the player name by using the drop down arrow. Once you have the specific villain selected, the graph will show from his perspective. From there, you can use the graph, statistics, and results tabs to find what you're looking for.

I'm sure this is the most incomprehensible answer to your question but I haven't slept for awhile and am not by my comp.

We highly advise backing up your processed hand history files as well. We do not advise restoring your configuration file unless you are using the same OS, and the same path storage locations.

PokerTracker 4 does not have the ability to filter vs player. You can instead change the Active Player which is normally set to be your screen name to the opponent's screen name, since this is a heads-up game you are now viewing results from the POV of the opponent vs YOU.

I only play hu and I always use the "everyone but hero" hud configuration, as in my hud stats show up on my opponents but not for me. When I switched to "everyone", my own hud/stats appear but resets back to zero every match regardless of the opponent.

The HUD only shows the current table session stats for the HERO, it does not show the lifetime of the HERO. The HERO's lifetime stats are not relevant while playing, but the current table session stats are very important so you can have an idea of how you may be viewed in the eyes of your opponents during the current game.

If you wish to review your lifetime playing stats, the best solution is to use the PokerTracker 4 reporting tools. The second best option is to use the replayer's HUD options - the HERO can display lifetime stats in the replayer as an option.

They are certainly relevant when they are filtered to be villian-specific, which is what I asked.

You cannot filter the HUD to be villain specific. Even in the future using new technologies that have yet to be developed I don't think we'll ever see a day when this will be feasible for anything other than heads up play. Hence, it is not relevent to see your lifetime stats in-game.

Stop using the argument that it's not relevant to see your lifetime stats in real time. It is relevant, your software just doesn't do it.

Undeveloped technology of the future? Really? Your software does exactly what I'm asking, it just can't be viewed in a hud designated as mine against a certain villian. I can find the info im looking for but I'm forced to hover over villains hud, and see, for instance, how many times I've 3bet him in order for him to have folded to 65% of them.

You would have been better off saying "sorry, our software does not support this."

My Hud stops working about 15 minutes after I started my session. It still shows the Hud on the tables that are already open but the HUD does not appear on the new sit and goes I am opening. It looks like it just stops importing Hands at some point. I wrote with the PT support for a while and they told me to rebuild the cache, which I did. The Problem was gone for 2 days and then appeared again. I rebuild the cache again but this time it didn´t help.

My HUD hasn't been working on Party the last few days. I checked and made sure it's still saving my HH's, and PT4 is looking at the correct folders to import. I'm not sure when exactly it started, but it was definitely working 1.5 weeks ago.

Although many of our users are heads up players, the majority are ring game players where multiway pots frequently occur. A line explorer is not ideal for multiway pots, therefore we chose to not include this in PT4 - it is something we continue to look at however, and may revisit in future versions of PT4. Our sister brand Holdem Manager 2 does include a line explorer, but this is only for the selected player that you are reviewing.

I have created aliases for my own accounts.
Does PT4 support creating an alias of different players? Like let's say I want to combine 5 fishy players into 1 alias for reviewing. Is this supported? I have ran into an error where making an alias is not enabled, because those players played a hand against each other.

My PT used to work perfectly when I was using the trial version. Tried holdem manager today and had to change some settings in pokerstars, the hud didn't line up etc. Decided it was not for me so bought PT but now my HUD doesn't line up properly in PT either. I have tried right clicking the pt4 icon on a table and using reset. Have also tried to move manually and save layout but it only helps for the one table im at if i load another one the hud doesn't lineup properly under the right person's name. Also my own stats are not shown. Tried playing multiple hands. Using win7.

You can however review a session to see how you played vs an opponent in that single session inside of the HUD displayed in the replayer, to do this:

Open the session, and view a report that shows all the hands played in that session.
Change the number of hands displayed to ALL
Right click in the report, then select Replay All Hands
Selection Options in the replayer, then enable HUD Stat Values at Time of Hand

Now you can review your stats at any time in the session
