2) First look at the pot odds seems a bit confusing with a "-" seperator, maybe (24%) would fit better.

3) Is it possible to resize replayer? I find the player names a bit small and would love to have text bigger.

Carry on.
The replayer is 100% skinnable, the theme designer chose the size and location of all buttons and text including pot odds. The image used is just an example of the skins available, there are others - including third party themes from coaching companies and eventually poker rooms and even some special theme ideas have been tossed around designed by some "celebrity" high stakes TV players. The replayer is also fully scalable, it can be resized to your full screen if you choose.

The next/previous hand history buttons only appear when a range of hands are selected, when a single hand is selected then there is no need for these buttons - they would just litter the user interface. We really have put a lot of thought into making PT4 as simple to use as possible for our users, we try to reclaim wasted space whenever possible.

How similar will the LeakTracker be to Leak Buster?

I was looking to buy Leak Buster since it works with PT3 now, but if the LeakTracker in PT4 is going to be anything like Leak Buster I will just wait then.

LeakBuster is a third party product for PokerTracker 3 which we have not seen yet, we didn't want to be accidentally influenced by their product when working on LeakTracker. We are friendly with the developers of LeakBuster, and we anticipate that they might create a version for PokerTracker 4, but you should speak with them to confirm. They have a free trial, perhaps your best bet is to download it yourself and try it since you have nothing to lose. There is also a thread on LeakBuster in this forum to ask questions.

As for LeakTracker, feel free to ask questions - we will be happy to answer as long as it is not a comparison to LeakBuster - because we have no experience to compare with.

Not initially. We have the basic coding in place for PKR, but it is in the best interest of PokerTracker users to postpone integration of PKR until a future date. We feel it is first best to focus on delivering the perfect app for players, then we can revisit by adding on new networks when there is a demand and the network meets our minimum requirements. Let us appologise in advance to all PKR users if this is an inconvenience to you, for most players they would prefer this plan of action - that is why we chose this path.

Would be huge if the menus (I assume you mean something to be opened by right-clicking on hud elements?) could be configured to open by ctrl-rightclick. Then an external hotkey program could be set to fold when right-clicking on a table. I guess this would still be risky on some clients where you need to right-click on the table for some functionality but would work fine on most sites.

Obv tough to implement if you already haven't laid the groundwork (i.e. configurable keys) for it.

I'm afraid we disagree with your idea. Proper user interface design for moder applications designates that right-clicking should be reserved for accessing shortcut menus in both Windows and Mac OS X in all applications with the exception of maybe video games which may have their own unique UI. We recommend using a programable multi-button gaming mouse instead to meet your needs, for example this is the one I am personally using: http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wirel.../dp/B003VAM32E

My point exactly I don't think giving the user some configurability ever goes against design rules... but no biggie, I'm happy you're moving towards the standards, can't go wrong that way.

Well I was already trying out the trial version of Leak Buster when I considered buying it. That's when I saw that there will be a Leak Finder in PT4. I understand if you can't compare if you haven't seen it, but I think i might just wait afterall, afterall it shouldn't take too much longer, I hope. And maybe Leak Finder will just suit my needs enough. If not I will get Leak Buster in addition to it.

my current PT3 customized HUD profiles and layouts will be available in PT4 after upgrading? if yes, will they remain unchanged in terms of stats definitions and layouts?

what about "VP$IP has been renamed VPIP and redefined to no longer include big blind walks in its calculation." ? old VP$IP will still be available? ...to can compare and accommodate with the new used stat...

Your old custom profile will be converted to the new PT4 format, but you should be aware that if a stat name has changed or been revised you will have to do some additional modifications. Additionally if you have custom stats which you are moving over to PT4 you should first take a look to see if the stat already exists... chances are we have built in the majority of the custom stats you created previously. Some custom stats which use antiquated column will not convert properly to PT4, once again some additional modifications may be required to reproduce the stat. Our support team will be available to help answer transition questions and guide through the stat conversion process as needed.

We include the legacy VPIP and PFR stats for your convenience, as well as the new definition.

Good luck!

A true quote from the lead developer of PokerTracker 4:

Quote:
Is it done yet? No, not yet. Is it done yet? No, not yet. Is it done yet? ALMOST!
You may be asking yourself, what does "almost" mean? Allow me to elaborate... any day now we will be announcing the official launch date for the PokerTracker 4 Beta Preview. You may have noticed the change in PokerTracker's website design today, this is the first of many steps we will be taking in the coming days as the Beta Preview rollout begins.

Instead of a full public beta, we have chosen to take an intermediary step first by releasing a more restricted limited run beta which will start before the holiday season. This Beta Preview will be limited to a smaller group of a few hundred beta testers to assure that the Public Beta release process is as smooth as possible. With the holidays around the corner we decided this was the best possible choice to ensure we can provide the technical support to beta testers that they deserve, while giving our development team the time off that they need during the holiday season after working so hard for the past two years to deliver PokerTracker 4.

The Beta Preview will be limited to a few hundred existing PokerTracker 3 users who signup using the link we will provide once the preview date is announced. The full Public Beta is expected to start in the beginning of the New Year, once we finish any revisions that are required during the Beta Preview. We will not be announcing the date for the Full Public Beta until we have completed any needed patches to address any major bugs found during the Beta Preview, but we can share that our goal is to deliver the full Public Beta as soon as we feasibly can after the New Year.

This is a very exciting time for all of us at PokerTracker Software, LLC - we hope you enjoy using PokerTracker 4 as much as we have enjoyed creating this application for you.

are you doing some domain redirects with cookies / scripts? if so what other domains need whitelisted before the site will work?

You shouldn't be having this issue, there are no whitelist requirements. Try deleting pokertrack.com cookies, maybe it is conflicting with the forum server's cookies.

Yes, but we anticipate that the Beta Preview list of qualified users will be filled very fast, therefore your timing will have to be perfect.

In PT3 I can copy the hand history to clipboard in different formats. Will the plain text format be the same in PT4?

There are some minor modifications that may take place, such as the name of our application in the copied text and the addition of street by street notes, but otherwise it will remain the same. Also you have the ability to export to YouTube using whatever replayer theme you have enabled, such as in this example from the replayer using a LeggoPoker theme.

We're aware of these issues and looking into getting them fixed (it annoys us a ton too).

In a matter of minutes, the first 50 lucky players to sign up for the PokerTracker 4 Beta Preview will have been taken care of. We launched the beta preview this evening on our Facebook page, the reservations went so fast it was hard to keep up with them. I guess some people are pretty excited to use our new software

I'll be back around 11AM UK time to provide the 2+2 community with access to the Beta Preview, reservations are limited, we will be releasing 250 to the general public tomorrow and then the public beta will close. Good luck, hope all of you who have been waiting get the opportunity to snag a reservation!
