I am playing on Enet, can't make HUD work as well, really hope you guys solve it as soon as possible.

The PT4 BETA is hidden on our website intentionally. You hcan find it by clicking support, PokerTracker 4,and then Downloads. You must be logged in to gain access to the beta. We have only 13 days left of the beta,... it is ending soon!


We only have access to Winning Network which uses the same software as Enet, the HUD is working over there and there is no preferred seating option added yet. Can you please send us screen captures confirming the preferred seating option, and if posible - the hand history folder so we can determine what may be wrong with Enet? I suspect they rolled out a new client change that Winning did not get - lets see to be sure.

I agree, that does seem odd. But it is possible if you improperly defined an exchange rate manually. Please restart PT4, view this report, then immediately send the log to our support team for evaluation, we can take a good look at this to see if anything is odd. Please include logs, screen capture, and report exports to help us determine. Another debuging tool would be the Results - Currency & Exchange Rate report, this will show the exchange rate for each session.

Is this the official announcement?

The unofficial announcement is in the COMMUNITY page inside PokerTracker 4, this is a special message exclusively for existing beta testers who can now pre-order in preparation for the commercial release. We plan a gradual release cycle, this way our beta testers are notified in advance of the end of their trial period. The commercial release will not be an "on" switch - it will take place over a period of days to assure our testers get first priority.

Enet update: It appears that Enet has switched to a new software platform. PokerTracker does not support this new software platform, but we will consider it for the future. This means that Enet support is now only available for legacy platform hands at this time. The Enet network was large enough for development when it was using the same software platform as Winning, but now that Enet is on its own, the network's traffic appears to be too small to make support a priority at this time. Thank you to everyone who submitted Enet hand histories to help us investigate, we wish we had a better answer for you all. It will take the Enet network some time to grow into this new platform, even though we do not support the hand history files we already noticed some bugs in the formatting, we hope they fix these bugs in the event we someday revisit Enet. We wish the Enet network on their new endeavor, perhaps we can support them again in the future.


Unrelated: We are nearly finished with PokerTracker 4 in-client tutorial videos, all videos with the exception of ICM related topics will be available prior to the commercial launch of PT4. We hope to have the ICM videos ready shortly after the commercial release.

I had purchesed pt3 in 2009 and then added on omaha in 2010 sometime. When it shows the 70% discount it is only showing pt4 holdem and not the omaha. Is there a way to upgrade both?

Am I reading it right, since I have a pt3 license I'll only pay 30% of the cost if I get it before Nov 25, so I'd just have to pay $30 ?

Yes, that is correct. The advantage is that:

1. You get to keep your existing PT4 code.
2. You do not need to worry about the date your existing license will enter into trial.
3. You do not need to deal with the heavy traffic that we expect once PT4 is released.

PokerTracker Support for the new Enet Software

I believe that TT misunderstood our position when he made that post regarding Enet.

We will more than likely be adding support for the new Enet software; however, at this present time, our main focus is on having a smooth PT4 commercial release. After the PT4 commercial release, we will re-evaluate our available resources to get a better idea of if and when we can add support for the new Enet software.

Right now the system is designed with a 1-to-1 mapping meaning that it's expecting for you to purchase Holdem first which you would receive a 70% discount followed by purchasing the Omaha Add-On which you would receive a 70% discount.

After receiving your message (along with a few others), we agree that what you "expected" should happen therefore we are in the process of re-working the system so that you will receive the 70% discount on "PokerTracker 4 Holdem & Omaha" combined.

This could take up to a few days for us to re-work. I will post when this change to the shopping cart system has been made. Sorry for the inconvenience, we will have this addressed in no time.

I purchased a pt3 subscription about a month ago, and still would rather use pt3 at this moment b/c of custom settings. etc...
Anyhow, is there something going on with pt3 at the moment? I'm having troubles opening the program. Every time i try and do so, it just constantly displays a loading icon, that in the end freezes up my cpu..

Any idea whats going on?

Sounds like your firewall may be interfering. Take at the antivirus & security config guide here: https://www.pokertracker.com/guides/PT3/troubleshooting

PS: PT4 can load in your PT3 custom configuration. With one exception - many custom stats used in PT3 are no longer needed because they have been added into PT4 for you. We sugest you continue playing on PT3 while you slowly move to PT4, once your configuration matches then you are ready to proceed.

You can continue to use PokerTracker 3, we will not disable your PT3 license - you bought PT3, you own that license! EOL is anticipated in 2 years, now that PT4 is here we will continue to fix bugs if they should be found, but naturally all new development and features will only be available on PT4. For example, if a poker room changes software, then the new software may be supported in PT4, but it would not be supported in PT3 because that is considered a feature, not a bug. If anything gets "lost" in PT3, it will be due to the poker rooms themselves, not us - we want to maintain the value of your license for as long as possible!

I am afraid the answer to your other question is "it depends" - we offer a 70% discount to existing PT3 users who upgrade if they purchased PT3 before June 10, 2011. Any PT3 owner who purchased after June 10 2011 will get a 100% discount. The prices are only visible to Public Beta users at this time, you can see the prices inside of COMMUNITY.

So i have PT3 micro so is my upgrade to pt4 is what . I was pt4 beta.

pt4 is amazing, hands down best poker tracking software out there at the moment. My only few complaints/requests are:

1) not being able to edit the overview report
2) ROI stat being black instead of red for negative and green for positive
3) no $/hour stat for tournaments

1) You can edit the overview report... what makes you assume you cannot? Right click, select Configure Report - EZ Game!

2) The ROI stat is black by request, you can alter the stat yourself to include coloring by clicking Configure _> Statistics, select Tournament - Players, and type ROI in the search box. Click Colors... this is where you can color your stat. There is a video tutorial available too - just click the little monitor button on the bottom left hand side of the window to view the vid.

3) Creating a $/hour stat for tournaments proved to be harder than we expected, but it is complete - we just started alpha testing this stat today. it is coming...
