So for clarification PT3 not working postflop is a "bug" and will be fixed yes? All hands that go to flop currently say "Error: Invalid pot size" so the HUD shows all postflop stats as NA.

The new Full Tilt poker client released today is not currently supported by PokerTracker 3 due to changes in the hand histories and seating options. Hands that do not see a flop will work, but any hands that reach postflop will require a software update. At this time all of our development resources are focused on PokerTracker 4, if you ae a Windows user we advise you to upgrade as soon as possible to take advantage of the 70% or greater discount when upgrading, PokerTracker 4 will support Full Tilt's changes later today when the new update is released.

We no longer develop new features, changes, or additions to PokerTracker 3. We only fix bugs at this stage, and we will continue to fix bugs for some time though. Changes in FTPs hand histories are not considered a bug... since we predict that the OS X version of PokerTracker 4 will not be available until the end of the year, we have decided to release updated Full Tilt support in PokerTracker 3 in our next PT3 release as a way of helping those of you who are waiting for PokerTracker 4 for Mac OS X. Unfortunately PokerTracker's next release will not be available for another 2-3 weeks.

SUMMARY:

PokerTracker 4 FTP Support: Available later today provided that testing is complete
PokerTracker 3 FTP Suport: Available in 2-3 Weeks
PokerTracker 4 for Mac OS X: We predict that the Public beta will be available the end of 2012. RUSH support is not expected to be available on OS X due to restrictions in the Operating System.

If you intend to upgrade to PokerTracker 4 for OSX when it comes out, then we recommend doing that now to save, rather than later. See the banner on the left hand side of this forum for an explanation why.

OSX users with modern Macs can use either Bootcamp, Parallels or VM Ware to install Windows on your Mac, this is how many of us at PokerTracker work without any issues.. including me, I am a Mac user but play poker mostly in Windows. Bootcamp is free from Apple.

PS: 2-3 weeks is our estimate, we will of course release sooner if the PT3 version is ready.

Also check out Parallels, there is a special $10 sale happening right now for Parallels 7 after rebate from NewEgg- http://www.tuaw.com/2012/11/05/neweg...-after-rebate/

Parallels 8 is the latest version, but I can confirm version 7 works great on OS X Lion.

2-3 weeks is a worst case prediction, it could be sooner. These things take time, we have many other issues to address at the same time in the next PT3 release.

I appreciate your communication on the problem.

This looks like the best place to ask this.
I may be missing something obvious, but I can't find a way to account for rakeback in PT3. Is there a way?

'To save'? Does this count for all current mac users? I remember when I bought PT3 for mac there where banners promoting a free upgrade to pt4 when it would come out. That's still on right?

We aim to please, we try our best to provide as much feedback as possible without interfering with our other responsibilities, but I admit we still have room to improve.

We do not have an official method to track Rakeback in PT3, but you can use one of the custom stats we have posted in our Download Warehouse to graph your track and graph rakeback.

PS: your lucky to have an account that still gets rakeback, this is becoming harder and harder to get from most poker rooms!

Yes, current Mac users are included.. the reg code you get for PT4 is the same for Windows and OS X. If you qualify for a free upgrade then you should take advantage of that now, visit our PokerTracker 4 FAQ section for details.

Good news.... we were able to get the PokerTracker 3 beta out today... the alpha testing went so well that we got the job done more than a week in advance of what we predicted!

If you are a Full Tilt fan, then download the new PokerTracker 3 BETA today!

You can never tell how long development will take, for example our last PT4 release was released almost three weeks later than we predicted. Software development is not easy!

thank you so much for the update! ftp tourney hud working perfectly now on my mac.

Wow! Awesome!

Just a follow up on PT4, there were banners offering a free upgrade when I bought PT3. I don't want to buy the windows version, if I wait until the mac release will I not be eligible for this offer?

A Pokertracker purchase is a license, you are not buying a Windows or a Mac version... you get either or both. We do not restrict which operating system you use, you have up to two installations which you can pick from.

So we should redeem this offer for a windows download and then get the mac version when it comes out?

Sure, you can do that. You are getting a reg code for the software, so you have the freedom to chose.

I know PT3 users are supposed to get a 70% discount when they upgrade to PT4 but I can't seem to find out how. I click on the upgrade page link but it still comes up with the same price. What am I missing?

Please see the upgrade FAQ on this topic. From our home page click support, then FAQs.

OK, I just read it. I don't think I ever created an account on the site. Does this mean I'm not eligible for the discount?
11-12-2012 , 05:57 AM
You are still eligible, but you will need to link your purchase(s) to your account via the Order History page, as stated in the "Upgrade Process from PokerTracker 3 to PokerTracker 4" section of the FAQ.

If you have any problems with that please open a support ticket on the PokerTracker website and we'll make sure things get linked up so that you can get your discount.
