I'll pass on your request. You could try setting the PokerTracker.exe process to low priority in Task Manager.

That really depends on how postgres was installed. Did you do it manually, or was it installed by another application?

This beta was delayed a bit longer than we hoped. There are a ton of bug fixes in this release, as you can see. I won't get into details on them, but PT3 should run better for everyone now, in one way or another.

The biggest delay was caused by the release of Rush Poker by Full Tilt. We weren't satisfied in giving you guys something silly like stats in exported notes, or to make you look up your opponents manually in a list of players. We wanted only the best. We wanted to give you exactly what you have on every other table you play on. We wanted to give you access to hundreds of stats in an instant, so you can make your decisions quickly and move on to the next hand. It was certainly not an easy task, and it's something you'll likely only find in PT3 for a good long while, but we succeeded in bringing you the first real time updating Hud for Rush Poker.

There are a few caveats you should be aware of. At this time there are no session stats or hero stats available. You will not be able to mark interesting hands for review via the Hud. Player notes will need to be added quickly (before the players change). Obviously, mucked hands don't display either. Other than that, your Hud is fully functional. This hasn't been tested against Full Tilt mods, so if you aren't using one of the four default table layouts provided by Full Tilt, you may experience issues. Mac users will unfortunately not be able to cash in on this feature just yet. It's Windows only for now, but we're working hard to bring it to our Mac users as well.

We've also almost completely finished the Omaha site support. Every site has Omaha support except for Bodog (which is coming soon). Unfortunately, we did not receive a large number of Omaha hand histories to test with, so there will most likely be occassional hands that won't import. If you encounter one that errors out or doesn't import properly, please send it to our support team so we can get it fixed. We've also made custom stats and Hud layouts easier to work with. You can convert custom stats from one section to other sections easily. Hud profiles also automatically convert stats from Holdem to Omaha and vice versa.

We continue to improve our Mac product by adding support for the Cereus Network in our auto-import and Hud. We've also improved the stat interaction on the Hud by allowing CTRL+click and drag to move the stats on the table.

We want to thank our users for patiently waiting for this update. We know it took longer than anyone hoped, but we believe you will find the wait well worth it.

PokerAce,
Thanks for the update, but it appears that Omaha is not longer available, is this intentional?

Edit: After reading your post it sounds like Omaha should still be there, am I doing something wrong? I tried manually downloading from the Omaha section and its still not showing.

Omaha should definitely be there. Did you download beta 30.2, or stable build 5.2? Check the titlebar.

If you find any that don't import please attach the hand history files to a Support ticket - we didn't get very many examples so it's possible there may be some import errors for unusual cases..

I updated PT3 to see how it works with rush poker, but it really lagged. Using Vista. I got the rush box checked as per the video. What should I do about it? Can you direct me to the relevant thread for this issue on 2p2 or pt.com?
01-31-2010 , 07:55 AM
oh wow, maybe i updated just before you put in the new fixes. lemme see
01-31-2010 , 07:57 AM

01-31-2010 , 10:37 AM
pster,

Could you please report your problem so we can investigate further?

Also, would a mod please update the title of the thread? Thanks!

01-31-2010 , 01:44 PM
Glad to hear it's working well for you
02-01-2010 , 05:41 AM
cross posting this in sponsored forum too.....

I just downloaded the latest update 3 beta 30.3 and then my virus scan went off about a "tilt communicator plug in or something."

WHAT THE HELL IS IT ???

I've never a scan alert with any of your products before so I'm not particularly happy right now. So I want detail and quick.

You have a reply to your other thread - there is no need to cross-post, we read every post here and in our sponsored forum.

What did they say when you PM'd them?
02-01-2010 , 06:23 PM
Just downloaded the free trial of PT3. Frankly, all the information it can give you is somewhat overwhelming to me. I just wanted to know what stats people choose to show on their HUD and for what games. Also why did you choose these particular stats?

I did a search for this on the forum but couldn't find anything. If there's a similar post somewhere someone please post a link on this one. Thanks

This was for limit, but it's pretty applicable to NL as well although some of the stats you'll want to use may change (more emphasis on PF 3! percentage?)

After downloading Beta 30.3 my FTP (including Rush, big ty for implementing that HUD) and Stars auto imports are working just fine, but my PT3 is no longer picking up Bodog anymore. In other words, there is no check mark for Bodog for auto importation and nothing is being imported when I play there. Should I enable logging and send my files or is there something else I should do? Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is a bug on the OnGame end which makes this very difficult.

If you can't see your code in My Account > Registration Codes (I assume it was you that posted about this before?) you need to create a Support ticket rather than send an email. If you did that, you'll probably have a reply by now (Support > My Tickets) but if not then post your ticket number and we'll chase it up.

If you don't see Bodog in the list click "Show Hidden Sites".
Then make sure that Auto Import > Bodog Configuration > Automatically Start With Auto Import is ticked. (Or just click Start Site Import.)

the image with better quality: http://www.filefactory.com/file/a2h1...IR_DETAILS.png (I strongly recommend to download the image. You find the download button on the bottom of the filefactory.com site)

Hello,

first i want to say sorry for my possibly very bad english. In the last weeks i create a very interesting HUD for PT3. It shows exactly the meaning of a First-in preflop raise in a specific Position (UTG, HJ, CO, BU, SB [you find them on the left side of the HUD]) with a specific number of players (5-6, 4, 3, Heads-Up [the blue text in the HUD]) in a shorthanded cash game.
For every number of players and from every position (for example 4 players CO, BU, SB) you have got the statistic details including the "exact" handrange. You have the following stats from left to right:

Pos
In this column you find the following values
UTG = Under the gun
HJ = Hijack
CO = Cut-off
BU = Button
SB = Small Blind
all= all values for the number of players calculated together

FIR%
Here you find the percentage of a real first in raise.

Range
Here you find the "exact" handrange shown in this way:
55+, A9s+, ATo+, KJs+.........
I use two assumptions in the database queries.
1. If a player raise a hand from early-position he would raise the same hand from later position too.
2. If a player raise a hand from button in a for example 5-6 player game, he would raise the hand in a 3-handed game too.
If you download the picture above then you can see very detailed handranges for the different positions and number of opponents. And in this example i have only 1200 hands from the opponent.

Fold%
How often an opponent fold a hand later if he raised first in, in the specified situation.

FtHuFlCBet%
How often an opponent fold a hand to a Continuation-Bet on the flop, if he get reraised and isolated (only 2 player saw the flop). I think this is very valuable because you have one more information in preflop-situations if you are facing a raise and you are not sure to reraise or fold.

WTSD%
Went to showdown

W$SD%
Win at Showdown

WwoSD%
Win without Showdown

Of course you can use all the stats in your own HUDs or reports.

If you like what you see, you can download a demo-version here: http://www.filefactory.com/file/a2h1...LS_DEMO.pt3hud
The demo only includes the stats from the first row (raises from UTG with 6 Player at the table). But if you want to spend the time you can build the other stats by yourself.

If you dont know how to import a HUD: http://www.pokertracker.com/forums/v...p?f=45&t=17503

If you don't want to do the work by yourself you can buy the full-version for 50$ or 30€.
Please write a PM to me or an E-Mail to tight_is_right@ymail.com

Have a nice day,

Martin

Thanks. Simple solution that I obv didn't even think to check lol.

Also, I don't think FTP Rush hands are importing anymore (even though the HUD still seems to be working) after FTP's update today.
