Hi poker-hero,

yes, this is a central feature of PokerRanger. You will get an output as a table and a graphical matrix with color highlighting. You can make selections based on equity or of a percentage of hands. You can also export the selection to a csv file for further selection or copy the resulting range to the clipboard in order to create groups based on it.

To our best knowledge we can say that we have implemented this feature first, we will also invest more time and knowledge into this feature.

In the thread I have answered, too. Since I am not allowed to provide links here, there is one. Otherwise, you can also find this feature with the term "EquityTable" in combination with "PokerRanger" or directly on our page.

If you have any questions or feedback regarding this feature, please let us know.

Thank you very much for your interest.

All the best,
Michael

Hi there,

Could you maybe display (similar to flopzilla) the dead cards (Our actual hand) equity against the 2 other ranges?
GJ though.

Thanks in anticipation. Best regards

Another useful thing would be a combined probaility in cases when the 2 villain ranges flop similar hand values.

For example:
Top pair:
Villain 1: 4 %
Villain 2: 7 %

So at least 1 opponent flops top pair: 11,3%

Hi bortox,

please excuse the late answer.

Regarding your first question, could you clarify how dead cards are used to display any "real hand"? There could also be three dead cards, so that it would be unclear which hands' equity should be calculated.

Your second feature wish is also a nice idea. Would you use that for general learning, e.g., to evaluate your hands value against two opponents?

Thank you very much for your input!

All the best,
Michael

Hi thanks for responding,

my general idea is to simulate ( or review ) three way pots (esp. in full ring not too uncommon) with two unknown opponent ranges and our own known hand (2 dead cards). At first glance i dont see why it should be realistic to have more than 2 dead cards.

Hi,

since we will with very high probability offer more than two possible ranges with PR2, this should not be an issue. Maybe, we will offer a shortcut version to show the equity of deadcards against other ranges, as well, since it could make some of the analyses faster.

In any way, you will be able to get your desired equity numbers.

All the best,
Michael

Hello,

I purchased your program on March 8th and the payment went through on the 14th and I still have not received the license code for my product. In this time frame I also emailed you twice asking a few questions and haven't gotten a response on either email. What is going on

Thanks,

Jason

Hallo spacehippie,

we have received both of your mails and have answered immediately. Also, you are right, the payment went through on March 14 and as soon as this happened, we have sent the license to your paypal-registered e-mail address (we also have received a blind carbon copy, so we could make sure that the license really has been sent).

I am really not sure why the messages have not arrived. Please check your junk and spam folders.

If you still cannot find the mails, we could seek another kind of communication, e.g. Skype or, if you do not have Skype, a private message here in the forum. Please let us know which option you would prefer (to be completely sure that we have an agreement here, please let us know in this thread or via private message).

Our Skype account is: PokerRangerSupport

Although we cannot explain why the e-mails have not arrived at your e-mail address, we apologize for the inconvenience.

All the best,
Michael

Ahh I figured it was something easy because you did respond to an initial question I had before I made the purchase. I did find the two response emails in my junk folder but do not see the one with the license code in it. I will PM you my Skype details and go from there. Thanks for you help!

you are right, there is no expiration date. It is just necessary to activate PokerRanger again from time to time with your serial.sig file.

Michael

Hi max85,

we have sent the license to your e-mail address again. Please check also your junk and spam folders if you cannot find it immediately. In that case, you can e-mail us again, since we get a notification that is a little bit faster for mail than for 2+2.

All the best,
Michael

We provide a new update! It detects PokerStars and freezes functionality. PokerStars itself assured that no user will get a warning while running this version.

Enjoy the latest version! And as always, we are very open to feedback of any kind!

Hi DeuceOTR,

some features (also some new ones) are already finished and we have also done some extra research that we will be able to greatly use with the new version. That being said, we definitely have finished one milestone in the development.

All the best,
Michael

Hello zwara,

the error message seems to suggest that there has indeed been an error while downloading. We recommend downloading the file again. Also, you should make sure that no antivirus software, firewall or built-in Browser functions restrict the download or change the file in any way.

Alternatively, you can also download the archive. It will work just as fine.

Please let us know if you are successful this way. If not, we can also have a Teamviewer or Skype session to resolve this issue together.

All the best,
Michael

?How do I import ranges that i have downloaded?
PokerRanger Quote
10-25-2016 , 11:56 AM
Hello BiggerBoots,

I assume that you mean prt files. You can import them by opening the range selection dialog of either Player1 or Player2; in this dialog, you can click on the button "Import Tree from File". This way, you should get your new range tree.

However, be aware that this will overwrite your existing ranges. If you would like to merge your and those ranges, this can be done via a text editor. I can let you know how you can do this if you are interested.

Thank you very much for your interest!

All the best,
Michael

Hi,
You mentioned a few years ago that proper weighting would be implemented.
I'm assuming this has been done by now.
Can you explain how to do it please?
thanks!
PokerRanger Quote

Hi fooz,

proper weighting will come with PokerRanger2 which is still in the works. There, you will be able to weight each hand and each particular suit differently. Internal tests have shown that this works remarkably well even for hundreds of weightings.

There is no release available for this yet, though.

Right now, weighting can be solved with suits, which you most likely are already aware of. If not, please let me know, then I will gladly explain this concept here.

Best regards,
Michael
