Yes, it could be that you have some play money hands, or hands where you sat out. Take a look at the Database Statistics (in one of the Poker Copilot menus) and you should get a better picture.

Hello everybody. I used to play online poker quite a bit, but I haven't in a couple of years and have been playing a couple of tourneys on PokerStars.

I used to use PokerOffice on a PC, but I have a Mac now. I downloaded the Poker Copilot trial and while it's a cool piece of software, I was curious why there wasn't pot odds and draw odds for the current hand. Is this now somehow illegal?

I know it might be kind of lame, but I really like this kind of help in a HUD. Am I out of luck?

Illegal probably not but it's against the site's EULA. They can confiscate your funds if they see that you're using programs helping you to compute pot odds or helping you by suggesting any move or by automating action (like, say, folding 72o under the gun for you).

Reputable trackers don't want to go this route for they'd risk to be banned from the well-known sites.

Great program, I've used it up for the 30 day trial and am about to buy it. I am having one major problem, though (I'm not sure if this has come up in previous posts... but...) - the HUD seems to disappear and reappear at random on my screen. It's very strange - for about 2-3 minutes it will be there and working fine, and then for the next 2 minutes it will be gone. Then, at some points, only some of the players will have their stats shown, while others do not.

This gets pretty frustrating, especially if multitabling, because if I find myself in the middle of a hand and want to look up a particular villain's stats, there are times when I have no information available and am in the middle of a hand. Any insight into this?

Finally, one suggestion which I think someone else has brought up is to add color for particular stats - when I used to use PT on my old Dell, I liked to made certain stats different colors (such as green for 40+ VPIP, or 20+ PFR), which told me just by glancing at a table which players to keep an eye on.

Other than that it's great and I'm very thankful to finally be able to play on my mac.

I don't like the sound of this HUD problem you're having though. Are you using the latest version (1.67)? You can find out from the "About Poker Copilot" screen. If you are using an earlier version I recommend downloading the latest version from http://pokercopilot.com/. It should solve the problem.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have the most recent version and it was still doing it last night, although it seems to be doing it a little less.

I've been meaning to switch over to Full Tilt though for a while, so I'm going to try that and hopefully I'll see a difference... any other suggestions though for why this might be happening?

I think I might know what you're talking about. I multitable and sometimes when the screen pops up the when the next table needs action, the stats of other players may not appear initially. If I click on the screen, like in the middle of the table, the stats show up.

May not be the same issue, but sounded the same.

Oh, and love the software, Steve. Been playing online for a few years, but first time using a HUD, and love it. Will be purchasing soon.

Edit: I have both Stars and FT open, fyi.

Sounds sort of familiar, but with me the problem is that the stats disappear at all the tables simultaneously, and clicking on one table doesn't necessarily bring the stats up at that table... I just have to wait about two minutes until the hud randomly shows up again.

Are you playing on an older Mac? If so, you might benefit from going to the Poker Copilot Preferences, going to the Performance panel, and reducing the maximum number of hands or the HUD update frequency.

So I have recently started using Copilot. Still am using the trial but thinking about purchasing soon. One issue that I found that I don't care for is having to enable Access for Assistive devices. The mouse pointer movement is really irritating. I can deal with this while I am in a session but don't want to disable it after every time I play. Anyone know if we can disable the movement in Terminal?

I'm having a problem. I'm playing on Stars, and the HUD is only coming up on some of the tables. At other tables, there is nothing except in the top left corner it says in a small box "No HUD data available yet."

What is really strange is that if I change the hud to "classic," I DO get data on those tables that were not showing any data when on "on-table hud." However, I much prefer the on-table, because the classic has large windows that overlap the screen, make it hard to see,and get in the way.

Hoping for some insight...

heres a good one steve... whats the plan for this new FTP client. they have that beta floating around now, they have one for mac now too. when i tried it out, obv no copilot... will that be part of the copilot 2?

The Full Tilt beta won't work with Poker Copilot due to naming issues.

I'm hoping that when the beta switches to full release, things will work with Poker Copilot. The upcoming changes Full Tilt have described shouldn't break Poker Copilot. But only time will tell...

On PokerStars, the Cebriones 50BB min, fast - $0.25/$0.50 - No Limit Hold'em table, the HUD does not appear. Also, Oceana V 50BB min, fast - $0.25/$0.50 - No Limit Hold'em.

Is there or will there be a way to change the color of the stats on the HUD based on their values ?

A couple of questions Steve and Thanks for the great product/support
Can I sort my HH by hands played , like say I want to see how I have been running my last 1500 hands . Right now I can only sort by day , week , month , but can't see the amount I have played during that time .
Lets say I play 25NL and 50NL . If I want to see only my 50NL hands do I have to start a new folder and constantly switch the preferences to see only the hands for that game ? Or is there an easier way ?
And finally , in the forums there are certain threads where you can post your graphs and players will analyze your play , but most of them are used to HEM or PT . I doubt it , but is there any place like that for PCP ?
Sorry if I am hard to understand , but I usually work with a hammer and don't type well

as title states....i have CoPilot on MAC and even when i change the HH folder on tilt and CoPilot i still cannot get the HUD to function. I emailed FTP support but no response yet. just wondering if anyone can help me quicker. thanks!

The way to address this type of problem is to visit http://pokercopilot.com/, look at the blog page there, and if there is no notice that the problem is being addressed, email support. The software was updated today and is available for download.

hi.

full tilt had a software update today. after installing it, for some reason poker copilot isn't picking up new hands. i've checked to make sure copilot is programed to pull hands from the correct place, and it is, and i'm storing hands in the correct folder.

any ideas?
