Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

I have been checking out the Beta of this program and I must say it is absolutely great! Very easy to setup and use. If you play a lot at Party this program really is a must have.

It has way more features than Cash game tools (although that one is free). But this one is definately worth the "investment"

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

Hi bud,

Thanks for the rap I take it that it must be going ok- sorry I didn't get back to you today, got caught up in some other %$@@. I'll catch up with you tomorrow, if your girlfriend says it's ok .

So as NLHitman says there, I've got a fully functional Real Money Beta and I'll put it out for everyone to have a go ASAP. I figured that I'd rather have 3 or 4 people yelling at me than a whole heap. Been really good, got all of the tedious bugs out. Should be any time now, and I'll do it for quite a while, I'd like to think I can get it running really well while that's going on .

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

Hi,

I have another question. Regarding the HEM placement of notes and hand histories. How do I do that exactly. I have a 19inch monitor and a 15 inch laptop screen.

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

Do you play with both screens going at the same time or just one? To give you an example I've got 2 large screens and I play Poker on the one on the right. The HEM notes windows are the same size but the HH windows are long or short. So I have the HM notes opening in the top right corner of the left screen and the HEM histories opening directly underneath those. Then the lobby in the bottom left corner of the left screen. If I used one screen I'd probably open the HH's at the top left corner and the HM notes in the bottom left.

You need the Autohotkey Window Spy- just open any autohotkey, right click the icon in the tray and you will see it there- look at mouse position, on screen and you will see the numbers change as you move your cursor. Just put your cursor at the co-ordinates you want the window and jot the co-ords down- type them into EZCash and the windows will move there when you open them up. You can leave the HH's open and they just pile up on top of each other- the newest is on top.

I wouldn't mind another person to test, if you are playing on Party today and you want to then drop me a PM.

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

Hi,

I will check everything out and will let you know how everything works out. I play at 18 tables with 2 monitors. Don't know if it is possible with HEM to have the notes and HH come up and if they will still be easy to read

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

18 tables, don't know how you do it . The reason I made that was that I never look at the HH when I open it, I let it sit there until I can. Maybe the best for you would be to put them in the far left corner and put tables under them that you are seated on the right side- that way they won't cover the cards and you can get to them when you can.

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

Hi bro,

I got set back a couple of days, I'm REALLY sick, vomiting etc. Apparently it's going around in AUS, haven't been this sick for years. I added a new feature for ending your session or taking a short break. You press the new Play until blinds button and it presses the existing Stop auto posting button as well as unchecks Autopost blinds on every table, and when the BB arrives it presses the Sit Out button. Working smoothly. Glad to see the HEM feature works for you- if you want the new beta just email, I'd like to know it's working for someone who knows how to set it up...

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

I've put up a fully functional beta on my blog. It runs to the 14th and if the Party update isn't through by then I'll just add another couple of weeks to it. Just extract the contents of the initial installer to your desktop and then run the main installer. This beta connects to the internet to validate the current date when it statrs up so you have to be online to run it, if that's a problem then I guess plently of people will use it and you'll know if the program runs well or not- won't happen on a non beta version; it's the only real way to protect it other than pay #%$@loads for an epic installer . If I make changes I'll just upload a new EXE to add to your folder.

Blog link- download

There is a ReadMe.txt to get started and each Tab has a help item in the help menu...

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

My apologies to the couple of downloaders but you will have to download again. I went over and over and still managed to download an unreliable version, sorry Just take the PartyEzCASH.ini and Preferences.ini out of the folder if you set any keys up- then uninstall from add/remove programmes and then reinstall; take out those two files and put the ones you took out in there. Sorry for the inconvenience...

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

If you do switch the .ini's after re download, when you reopen you'll get error in the new Party Notes squares- just send through a couple of numbers and it will stop writing error. I hadn't made the Party Notes feature at that point so it's not in the first ini and the category needs to be created.

Someone asked me once if it was possible to resize the Party Notes and I gave it a go- the notes box resizes ok but the typing area stays the same size making it pointless, but you can automove the notes to the corner of your screen with the new moving feature so it kind of resolves the problem.

If you want me to try any features just say so and I'll give them a go. Even though I'm going to have to re-write the entire program in a fortnight or so I'd still like to try any suggested items.

Re: Party EzCASH - New Party Software

I've been working on it over AIM with a couple of dudes and seem to have a really clean version now. I put up a new download and will leave it at that for a couple of days. If your version doesn't say 1.51 on the top bar I'd keep your EzCASH.ini and Preferences.ini and remove the program (control panel, add remove) and install 1.51. I use hotkeys when I do coding and have them in the script- and of course forgot to wipe them out so they are in the old versions which will cause strange behaviour. Also fixed up some bugs and got the window moving working better.

Is the Party update gonna really be all that drastic? The last time they had a major update (re-sizable tables) then they had a beta going for several months before... so either the new update is going to be fairly minor/cosmetic or we are going to be in for 6 months of "bug hell".
