I have used it and can confirm that (as far as I can see obv.) it doesn't contain any spyware/trojans. I know that there was some concern in a previous thread this program was mentioned in, hence my response here.

Re: New Software: iPoker BetPot by n9-monk

My firewall went insane when I was trying to install.
The program was trying to reach ctfmon and put hooks. Technically I understand this is needed to read mouse inputs and bets on the table, but it can do so much more. I'm a little cautious now.

I use SnoopFree and a firewall -- the first needed approval for this program (obv for hooks & screen reading), the firewall did not need access for this program, so it at least seemed like it didnt connect to the internet.

Do you need to have the chat opend to use this? I'm looking for one that works w/ iPoker with the chat window closed and with miniview.

I use commodo. It did not ask internet permissions, but I think its possible to schedule this through ctfmon. Correct me if I am wrong.

Re: New Software: iPoker BetPot by n9-monk

At first glance, this appears to be a very powerfult betpot application for iPoker. It is not, as the OP suggested, an AHK - I guess this is a language barrier thing

As with all software provided without source, no-one can "confirm" this is safe. Just as no-one can confirm it is not, unless they have been hit and are expert enough to know how.

This is why we like AHK - any script code could easily steal passwords and send them to internet thieves - but the visibility of the code means one of us will likely spot it quickly, and hopefully crisis averted. In the end however, it is down to the user to understand the code they are running if they want to be 100% safe. With a compiled EXE, there is not an easy way to do this.

Now, I'm 99% sure this is fine - but no-one is going to come here and guarantee it is safe - and if they do, they are either the author (and if you trust them telling you it is fine, you don't need to hear them say it), or they are wrong.

So, try it if you want - it looks superb. But don't expect others to tell you if it is safe or not unless they have been stiffed already

No. But if to remove a chat on a mini-table it displaces elements of the interface to the left and require more customization in TestBMP.

Does anybody else use this? Or has anybody taken closer looks at it?

I would feel much more con fident installing it, if I knew that a bunch of people have used it, and hasn't had their money stolen..

Re: New Software: iPoker BetPot by n9-monk

Took me a while to work it out but now it seems to be working. A few of the smaller features don't seem to function properly (Cardoza) but the main part works great!!!

Love the table layout feature and ease of use. Thanks for this n9-monk. If you get all the features working fully I will definitely be making a contribution!!

Couple of suggestions if at all possible...

(1) Solve the focus stealing problem so I can type in one window (msn) and not have the focus stolen. At the moment i use the KeyboardRedirect script

(2) highlight the tables which need actioning.

Glad I found this.
