Is it possible to downgrade from the gold combo to the cash game version? It's been months since I bought it and at this point I'd rather just pay full price for tournament support if it's ever released.

I was considering charging them full price again... seems reasonable.

Contact support and let them know what you want to do... but at this point, I'd just wait another week. If the developers are point on, they said first official public beta will be tomorrow. Tournament support will be a snap once this new version is out. That's the only reason tournament support was put on hold, which was to get this version out which took awhile.

If I do have a workable public beta, I'll post a download link in here tomorrow. If it doesn't happen tomorrow though, it will be within the next couple of days for sure. Everything is looking solid on it from what I see.

It's like every 5th hand there's an error and it doesn't let me tag hands with PT4 for the ones that don't import, which is a problem. The potential of this software seems great, but it would be nice if it weren't so buggy. Any ETA on the new version with no import issues?

You need to run the troubleshooter and likely run your tables in default or min size view for now if you're getting this many errors. You shouldn't bet getting anywhere near that many errors. Most people may get a couple per session with those settings. Try doing that, and it will work.

When the update is out, it will be posted here.

Will the update let me size my tables however I choose? Also FWIW I'm using Stack and Tile for hotkeys, and the Bovada "turquoise racetrack theme" (not a mod) if that has any impact.

Another question: within the program (Bovada Card Catcher), it gives me the option to "register for tournaments". If I do that, will I get some beta tournament access?

Yes, with the update re-sizing won't be an issue. Right now, it's an issue on some systems w/ the current release. Some it's fine. But if you're getting errors like that, then try the default or min view sizes as those work the best. The update will also work with any stacking or things like table tamer. And yes, the racetrack style will not work well with the current release.

You will get beta access to the tournament if you purchase and register.

I'm most likely putting up a beta of the update sometime today. I know people are chomping at the bit. It's still going to have some import errors, but re-sizing, table format or mods won't matter anymore. I'll post the direct link when the developer has the full installer built. It will take a few more days to resolve the rest of the import errors, but it will be pretty fast to do so.

Sorry does this imply right away? As in, beta access for tournaments is already available if I purchase and register?

Right now if you purchase, S&G's are beta. MTT's don't fully work.

Mmmm... ughh.. well, there's some issue happening when you open zone tables, so I'm not comfortable putting it up as a public beta. I need the developer to work this issue out. I thought it would be done based on what they said the other day. Sooo... I'm going to put it up asap, and probably what I'm going to do is just have anyone PM who wants it and I'll provide a download link tomorrow. You just have to not be playing zone tables.

I was running it great this afternoon, re-sizing my little heart out with no problems, changing table types, all is sweet. There's still a couple of issues though but overall it looks great. I've had two guys working different parts of it and they did a great job. So PM me until my inbox is full, and that will be my max links I give out in the interm if you want this first beta.

Freak is there any way u can post the link publicly? Ur pm box is already full and I would really like to be able to resize my tables. ..thanks in advance.

I hope It's early. I clicked link that was up for a little bit and now card catcher wont work at all for me. Same thing happened to me...very tricky Freak!!!...lol...anyway I reinstalled the older version and it seems to be working again, so you might want to try that.
