Depends what you want to do.

If you just want a HUD and real time stats, you'll want the card catcher. If you don't care about a HUD, and just want to study the game (see opponents hole cards), you can get the converter. If you want to do both, you can get both.

The converter you're downloading hands 24 hours after they are played. The card catcher is getting all of your data in real time as you play.

One new thing to note. In the latest lobby update, we have a work around to get MTT results now. So that is going to be in the next build. Yeah... I know you MTT guys should be happy about this. Nothing changed on S&G's, those results have always posted.

So originally I purchased the converter and hud for both nl tournies and cash. Since the update, when I convert and transfer hands to poker tracker, my cash game results are showing up but my tourney histories are not. Any idea what the problem could be?

Trust me when I say you didn't e-mail support. I'm happy to help you here though of course. But I think for whatever reason, people think the no-reply sales e-mail address is somewhere to respond to, even though we have an automated message (and maybe this goes to spam for some people), that this is not a monitored e-mail address and you need to e-mail support (with the address). They think they are contacting support, when they are not.

But any ways... Did you purchase the card catcher or the converter? This is the card catcher support thread. Sometimes people get them confused.

My best guess w/o knowing more info is perhaps the tournament version isn't registered anymore. Either it expired, or something in your hardware changed and unregistered it. Look at the top of your product and see if it still says it's registered for tournaments. If not, then just click on register and enter your serial. You might need to reset your license. If you do e-mail support they can also provide some step by steps depending on which product you have and more details.

I've always just replied back to the emails I get from you guys but responding to the new license code email I received was obviously my mistake. is there a way to remove 1 hand on pt4?i got dissconnected and when i came back the table was still up and a seat open so when i sat 2 other players got involved in a hand right as i sat down and somehow the winner of that hand was attributed to me/hero i guess somehow idk it was an allin i looked in the hh and it shows up as me winning although i wasnt even dealt in the hand thx

I am trying to get my converter to work. I have followed the instructions but it looks like may hands are not importing on hem2 for some reason. Anyone have any idea or has this happened to anyone before?

Anyone have an issue where cardcatcher is causing the ignition client to crash randomly. I keep getting a Notification window that up saying (Poker Client has stopped working) at seemingly random times during my session.

try taking off auto timebank. worked for me and it sucks to not have but small sac for no crashes

Like I said this morning in support, there's no reports of crashes. In theory if you don't have your display driver updated, and you have auto time bank enabled this could cause an issue. I'd try and update your video card driver or turn the setting off. I think BlueCollar made a good point to try.

Yes, and let me know. If you're still having an issue, then let's get your log and see what's going on. Just click on settings in the catcher, click create log and send support the .zip file it creates. We can get a better idea of what's happening.

hello. I use the HUD and it works great. thanks alot. my question is about the card catcher. I want to use the card catcher so i can see what hands villains played.. My question is if i already use the HUD with PT4, if i use the card catcher and upload my hands would it not create duplicates of every hand in my database?

I believe you're asking if you use the ignition hand converter + the card catcher will their be duplicates. No. They are imported under 2 different sites, so you can use them both at the same time. You have to switch between user ID's in PT4 to see the different data, but they store under separate user names.
