Sorry for my ignorance, I've never had or used any type of tracker before. If I import all of my hands to the program does the software tell me my win % in different positions and my win/loss % with different types of hands?

The Bovada hand converter is going to allow you to import the hands into your favorite poker database. From there, you'll have all of the normal functions you would of a poker database. Positional stats, running filters, graphs, etc...

Is this not including your software

Should I choose HEM2 as my poker system even tho I use HEM 1?

Do you recommend I upgrade to HEM 2 for the tracker to work optimally? Im worried the winings wont be accurate or something.

Edit: Also Can I start using the Download All button on the bodog client? I remember reading it wouldnt always download all of teh hands unless you clicked every table session by itself, which is quite time consuming :P

I bought the Holdem converter earlier and the Omaha converter separately today. I can't seem to find a way to ADD omaha to my converter. I already emailed support but just posting here to see if I can get any insight faster.

Download All works fine for me. It can just take a little bit of time. One thing that speeds up the download process is to quit the client and log back in. They'll usually dump right in the folder when you relaunch.

Can you confirm that the latest build of PT4 (4.09.1) does not block hole cards?

Afraid to install new versions as they come out now.

Also, does the converter yet recognize heads up tables? I've had to go in and manually change them once imported into PT4. Was quite a scavenger hunt to find those sessions, having to get creative with filters.

Thanks!

I will try and find out. I just got back from Vegas myself today, so I will see what I can find out.

I put in a support ticket to PT and asked when they plan on blocking it. The person who answered said he was unaware of any of this and will ask the QA people.

As an aside, some of my $5/$10 FL hands are being imported as $2/$4 sessions. PM me with info on where I can get you the suspect HH files. My only guess is that I've been updating the converter but I haven't updated PT4 since 4.08.3. Also, Bovada's client updated a couple days ago.

I contacted them today, and I'm not even sure what to say at this point honestly. To say they are not being helpful or cooperative would be an understatement. It's unfortunate since it doesn't have to be this way, but basically I think they're going to make it difficult to know when the change is made.

If I say anything else beyond that, I may regret it.

Any updates on when it may support MTT's?

So I've been playing more and more (thanks run bad...) and it's getting time consuming to convert all my hands everyday to review, so what I want to know is, is there a way to convert just the newest hands I've downloaded from Bovada? For example, can I convert just all of yesterday's hands and then add just those hands to my HM2 folder? If this function doesn't exist, I would like to request it as an upgrade for future Bovada Hand Converter versions.

You might need to reword that.

I've re-read this a few times now and I can't understand what you're asking for. Can you try again?

We're working on it now, so S&G and MTT's will be soon. Tournament support is going to be sold separately since it's a ton to parse through and to maintain at an ongoing rate.

I'm using the trial and it doesn't seem to convert the Raises properly for HEM2.

Example:
UTG+1 : Calls $0.05
UTG+2 : Folds
UTG+3 : Raises $0.15 to $0.15

or

UTG+2 : Checks
UTG+3 : Bets $0.27
Big Blind : All-in(raise) $4.70 to $4.70

The raise sizing doesn't include the original Call. It's this way for all hands. N/M this is how Bovada does it, but it's still a lazy way to write things.

It also doesn't show the size of the pot for preflop, flop, turn, river, etc.

And more disturbingly, it deletes the original Bovada hand history files from Bovada\Hand History\[random numbers folder].

I'm kind of confused as to what software everybody is using to convert hands into a databaseb from Bovada. Can someone please explain which software they downloaded and what steps they took to get the Bovada HH into the DB? Thanks!

Anyone else notice that the showdowns of the converted hand histories are worded weirdly? For example, I'll have KK on T3T4A and it says I "won with two pair, Kings and Aces."

Raising sizes are correct, and it puts the original hands in the processed hands folder (second folder down, it's in the tutorial). They are not deleted.

This was a really old bug for earlier versions. What version do you currently have?
