I have hem1 & pt3. Which is better to use with this software?

Yeah, something changed in PT awhile back with how they handled this situation. This was fixed in converter version .34. We're on .35 now. You might want to update.

Either is fine really. It's just a matter of what database you like better.

Just FYI, I am am on .35 of the converter and 4.12 of PT4

Hi FD, updated all my Bovada tourneys for 2014 and I'm still getting alot of these type of errors in PT4:

Yeah, you can e-mail them. The hands should still go in no matter what. But send any of the original hands and we can look at them. Is this Omaha?

Any ideas why bovada double ups are not showing proper winrates? It says I have won 2 out of 48 and I know that number is around 50%.

I'm having trouble finding in this thread if there is a version available for Mac? I just stupidly paid for it before seeing it looks like its only for windows. If it isn't available for mac, is there any other options?

Probably because Bovada isn't writing the results. You may have to manually adjust, but if you want to send some of the original unconverted files, we can take a look.

There's no mac version right now. Just e-mail support and they'll get you taken care of.

Lately when I import my hand history into HEM2 after converting them with the hand converter, I lose 100-200 hands in the importing process. Any idea why this might be happening?

No. Are you 100% positive you're losing hands? My best guess is you have duplicates of some sort that are sitting in your import folder and showing up during conversion, but not import. There aren't any known issues like this of any sort.

I checked out some tournaments and after further inspection it seems that I am getting marked as a "loss" for tournaments where I placed ITM. I am starting to think that it is somehow marking me as a winner only if I finish in first place as the chip leader, even though the tournaments ends when 3 are remaining.

I need to figure out how to adjust this game mode to be a 6max DoN where the top 3 get 1/3 of the total $ each.

I'm not sure how to access the unconverted files.

Yeah, Bovada changed some of the writing for the placements. We're trying to sort through which ones are effected or not. The developer on this has been looking at this the last couple of days. If you have any that you cashed but didn't show up, send those original unconverted hands to our support and we can look a them. The more we have the quicker we'll sort it out. Thanks.

Does this effect cash games to? I just bought the CG converter and I am getting errors.

839 hands converted but when I import them to hem 1 or PT4 I get errors/not all hands are imported. I converted the same exact hands twice, one for PT4 and the other for Hem.

I also tried another converter and it successfully uploaded all 839 hands onto pt4.

hi, i have been playing on bovada. i am going to purchase the bovada converter software.

what software works well with this - i am asking about software that will give me statistics about my play. i am using windows 8.1.

also, what hud software would you recommend?

Bovada HUD programs are limited. Many are using Holdem Indicator and Tournament Indicator, I have been for last year and work great. There is another thread just on this software.

I'd have to see the hands. I don't have anyone else reporting any errors on PT right now, but if this is a new PT update, anything is possible. Things do change. Regardless, the hands should be in your DB despite the error. If you send some of the original hands to support, I'll have the developer look at them.

I'd recommend Poker Tracker w/ the bovada card catcher. Both have a trial and you can use them. If you want to get serious about your game and have a lot of options for post play analysis, this is the best way to go.

i did get pt4 and the bovada catcher. i am getting the same kind of errors as someone else (invalid pot size). the support at ace says not to worry about it.

there are hands in the pt4 database since i can export them from pt4.

but when i click on view stats and leak tracker in pt4, i do not see any hands or vertical bards in the horizontal bar graphs.

perhaps i am doing something really silly?

has anyone else had this problem with pt4?

when i click on view stats and statistics, i can see a graph and 113 hands and values for my c won, vpip, pfr, total af, etc. (this came from the bovada converter).

but when i click on leak tracker, i do not see my number of hands or any vertical bars in the horizontal bar graphs.

is there something i need to do to get this to work?

i found my problem. i had the table size set to full and these hands are from the zone tables (6 handed).

before when i was hitting run analysis it said there were no hands.

now it works fine except for crashing on hand range models.

Ok, that makes sense. At least you found it. Yeah, PT's support should be able to help you with the hand range model crash. I think you can just fill out a ticket there and send them the error code and they can help you out.
