Okay so my hands haven't been importing into PT4 since 7/23 and I'm not sure why. I always thought it was weird that the number of my cumulative hands stayed relatively the same and I was just going crazy but I checked the most recent hand and none since the 23rd has been imported (correctly). I did my usual convert, then import from disk in PT4 and no errors but it's nowhere to be seen in the graphs.

I know this is very vague and might not be helpful at all but I'm not sure where to even start looking at places where I went wrong?

Between Poker Tracker and Hold'em Manager is one more preferable than the other for Ignition? I've searched through pages of this thread and don't see any discussion on the topic.

I don't know if it makes a difference but I would be using the software exclusively for 6max cash games. So if one is better than the other that would be helpful to know. Thanks.

It's really just personal preference imo. They're both very capable programs. Some of those guys that charge money for premium HUD configurations may not offer support for both programs, so if you're into that sort of thing, see which one supports your preference.

Both have free trials. We also have a database/hud solution for Ignition called Drivehud. So you can try all of those and see what you like best.

Hey I just bought HC for zone on bodog and now they released this update that you said in the CC thread is completely new code and the card catcher isnt working.

Will the hand converter still work since its just manually grabbing the hands and converting them or did bodog also change their HH layout? JW before I play because I like to have up to date stats but dont really care about no hud for awhile.

As far as I can tell from the socket data, nothing seems different in their HH's. So it shouldn't be an issue, but we'll know more tomorrow for sure. But I'm 99% sure it won't be a problem.

Having an issue with my hands not downloading, or if they are, they are going to a different folder. I'm sure it's just an issue with Ignition, but just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?

That sucks. I haven't personally had this issue, but I've heard others have a problem, call them, they reset it and they work again. Wonder why it's not that simple in your case.

I'm able to download and convert hands now, but unfortunately missing about 10 days worth of hands and Ignition won't reset. sigh

Ugh... you asked them and they said no? Usually they will just reset and it's a non-issue from what I've heard.

I cant see the all in EV when converting my hands from the ignition hand converter with PT4 is there a way to remedy this?

Go to settings on the converter, disable showing of all known hole cards. All hands you convert after this will show accurate all-in EV. You can't see EV correctly if you can see all of the known hole cards of your opponents.

I am having a lot of problems with catcher recently. I am using v.2.09.6 and HEM2.

The program does not seem to be catching any of the hands (maybe it is and is not importing to HEM2 correctly?). With HEM2, Ignition Cash Table, and the catcher open, I am getting no HUD to show up. The catcher interface is showing "Stop Catching" but in the light brown box below, it is not showing any tables. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I have tried to repeatedly hit "Stop
Catching" and "STart Catching", and closing and opening the program with no results. The catcher seems to work sometimes but 90% of the time it does not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

using hand converter for ignition to import into HM2 and am suddenly getting tons of errors. Seems to be in holdem games as my plo8 games are the only ones importing properly. I have the errors grouped and can load to clipboard if necessary, please give me further instructions, if requested, and please help me fix this issue.


Seems others are having some problems as well. Lately, I will just blame it all on Ignition!

so 2 issues:
First and foremost, I got an update today for the Ignition Card Catcher...installed it and now it doesn't work. my HUD doesnt show on the tables anymore and when I went to check import status in my PT4, its not showing any hands from iPoker(ignition) anymore.

FYI, it was working fine before this update, as recently as last night.

Second issue, I've been getting a really annoying bug for quite some time now(maybe last 2 months or more?) where the HUD is rarely if ever, correctly aligne for my seat preference only on Ignition. I used your software with PT4 just fine with no such problems for many many months and can't figure out what happened to cause this. my seat preferences haven't changed and neither have my settings in PT4.

Have you looked at the actual hand histories? I know some people are getting incomplete hands after the previous update. Anyone who is getting complete hands though, isn't having conversion problems. It's been a handful of people that I know of that had to re-request hands from Ignition.

I'd check the hands, and re-request your downloads.

We need to move this to the card catcher thread. But update to the latest catcher, and read that thread. You'll be all good after that.

Hey guys , i just bought the ignition hand converter and im having problems , when i convert the hands everything is fine but when i import them to hm2 it says error hands on almost every hand i try to import, i dont know what to do, does someone had this problem before? if someone can help me ill be very happy, thanks guys

Is your NL license still active? If you look up at top is it saying cash holdem / cash omaha ?

I'm guessing you have the latest version of HM2, but your settings on the converter are checked to show all known hole cards which you can't do, and it says this many times, forces you to acknowledge you've read that also. I'm guessing you missed this, but if you didn't, then check the actual hand and make sure it's ok. The converter works 100%. Zero problems. Zero bugs.
