ICMIZER support
Hey guys.
This is the support thread for ICMIZER, software to analyze preflop decisions in tournament poker.
You can ask your questions about it in here, and I will be answering them.

Re: ICMIZER support
Thanks for suggestions and kind words guys.
I am currently working on results display contrast as it was a requested feature by many users. I'll try to add constrast colors for colorblind as you suggest SiQ, sounds like a nice idea.
As for 5) - it is there from day one. Just type in 45% for example and it will take top 45% hands using current hand rankings. Should be nothing except : "15%" (no quotes)
You can use CTRL+A combination to select entire current range text and quickly change it with 45% value
Other feature requests queued up, no current eta on them. Mass hand loading is planned for this summer for sure.

Re: ICMIZER support
when analyzing some hand I am not quite sure what both range coloumns mean
under main rangers you have hero push and btn push
under the hero push ranges my understanding is that those ranges are the range the villan calls a hero shove.
but what do the ranges under BTN push mean
as you have a seperate tab for overcalls.
can you just give me an example of what the rangers under btn push sb push and then the overcall tab ranges mean
so i can clarify I am doing it right.
thanks
alex

Re: ICMIZER support
First column (HERO PUSH) represents call ranges versus hero push as you say and ranges in this column + overcall ranges are used to calculate EV Push. Those are the most important ranges and have most effect on calculation result.
Overcalls represent overcall ranges after hero pushes and player in specific position calls him. After that players on positions after first caller can perform overcall (OC) So if hero pushes BTN, SB can call, and BB will have editable OC range for this spot.
Other columns represent pushes from positions after hero in case hero folds. So BTN push represents - first range (PU range) push range for button player. CA ranges - call ranges against BTN push from SB and BB. SB PUSH column - SB PU push range from SB, BB CA - call range from BB vs SB push.
SiQ, I've added Contrast color option for colorblind people. it can be found in options
as for 4)th request about EV diff contrast - its been added. Now it looks much more contrast I believe. However some people are now asking to have an option to have it old way..

have options menu
with regards to the above post why do you need to include the ranges of villans actions if hero folds when the analysis of a hands is a hero raise or push?
how does this effect ev calcualtions?
is it necessary to have good ranges here for a good calculation? or does it really not effect the calculation of heros ev?

because the equity of your push (or fold) is greatly effected by what happens when you push and also when you fold. for instance it would be really bad to make a lot of the "standard" shoves if you knew that once you fold SB will shove into BB with 100% range and BB will call with 100% range (obv an exaggerated example).
it is necessary to have good ranges for what they do when you fold. absolutely.
Q thanks for the update. awesome work. i love it.

As SiQ points out it just greatly affects your EV in many cases.
One of common cases is bubble when your on the button and big stack is on SB. Because he pushes so wide usually your push range in this situation is greatly affected by BB call range. Because if he mistakenly calls wide, you are far better of folding most cards, as theres a good chance that if you fold there will be a showdown SB vs BB and you can just get ITM without playing a hand.
If BB is too tight on other hand, this is less likely and you can push more hands than in case when he is loose.
SiQ, you are welcome

Re: ICMIZER support
I have worked on 3) parse hands from 2+2 forum posts for easy analysis
Should be working now, however there are many converters used around here and I am pretty sure some converters arent supported although its pretty generic.
hands like

Re: ICMIZER support
I forgot to mention this earlier but I find this useful as part of my study regime
feature request:
6)ability to send the hand to holdemresources nash calculator online to analyize nash results.
( a similar feature is currently present in sngwiz and is primaraly why I am still using sng wiz so that i can nash analyze a hand when needed)
7) incorperating a hand replayer as an alternate view. (It is visually easier to process a hand when you see table point of view.) (I would love something like popop universal replayer where i can custermerize a stars skin but have the ability to do icm analyisis)

Re: ICMIZER support
BTW as I am currently still using sngwiz to anylize multiple hands from my database because of this new ability to understand 2+2 parsed hands I can now directly copy a hand i am reviewing in sngwiz and paste it to icmizer.
before the hand was unable to be parsed but now it works.
Its really useful it saves a lot of time to copy paste a hand directly rather than having to look it up from my database
