is the 'delete selected hands' or 'delete all hands in list' option a 'hard' delete? is there any way to get the hands back? does it leave a trace?

accidently deleted some hadns

I wuld suggest you post on the hem forums in this thread: Failed to establish a connection to '127.0.0.1'

There is a detailed post on how to reconnect here: Still Can't Connect to PosgreSQL? Try This!

WTF, I delete my databases and start from scratch and when I go to import hands into the NEW database I am getting all import errors as if the hands are corrupt? Anyone know what could cause this?

The hands filename is now a ****load of numbers

Unfortunately its a hard delete, try doing a manual import from C:/HMarchive to see if the hands are still there

Right now I have to write down hands I want to review then go look for them.

How many hands does it take before HEM starts to slow down, my pc is new and has a fast processor and like 8GB of RAM, and a 500GB HD. I'm mainly asking this because of dataming.
http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm....aspx?faqid=24

As long as you vacuum and defrag HM shouldnt slow that much, importing will slow down but HUD performance and retrieval shouldnt

This only works for 1 site at the moment, multiple timezones is on the to do list, maybe full tilt have a change timezone option? Some sites like stars for example do

That's the problem. I deleted my old database and created a new one, but the hands are not importing and the file names are changed to like a billion numbers. Oh well, I'll get Full Tilt to send me them and then re-import the new HH's.

Where did you get these files that somehow had their filenames changed? Did you export them from your previous HEM DB? Or get them from the HEM Processed HHs folder? It's always wise to create a new DB and import hands b4 deleting your old DB. I have never had issues reimporting HHs that I export from HEM or get from my processed HHs folder.

Re: New Software: Holdem Manager - 1.07 (15 day trial) 02-Sept-2008

I'm having an issue w/ HEM, trying to open the program and I get the "Holdem Manager has stopped working" error message. Tried running as admin, nothing opens, can't do anything, only option is to close the program. Anyone?

Do you have a new estimated date for the release of Omaha Manager?

It's the same/normal download. Make sure you download the latest v1.08 beta update from the forums after you download the full install package v1.07.1 from the main site. After 15 days it will stop working if you dont pay for the small stakes version or better.
