Do we still need OngameExtractor ?
With this version you do - we are now working on the next build which will include all the HUD / HUD Options changes and an integrated OnGame. Once that is released things should be a but easier since I know it was confusing having two different builds being developed side by side for a while there.

Was this a response to my question above? Didn't have a quote, and I did just post the same question in the HEM forums as requested by Roy but still not sure if this is common. Thanks fozzy and others, very helpful.

a) Is this any closer to getting done?

I'd appreciate if someone who uses PT3 could let me know if they ever implemented it also, to save me downloading the latest version to check.

b) When I close a table without closing my notes on a player, that auto-closes the notes, which are not then saved. Easiest fix is to stop myself closing them in the wrong order, but it still happens fairly regularly. Any way to fix this?

I was responding to Steel108 directly above me. I had no help to offer to your post, so didn't reply, once I saw Roy's post.

Re: New Software: Holdem Manager - 1.06.03 (15 day trial) 02-Sept-2008

Hey, I've been using Hold Em Manger for months now and last night this message pops up when I goto run it.

First Box
"The Following error occurred when trying to open the database. Failed to establish a connection to '127.0.0.1'

Second Box
DB Control Panel
Holdem Manager has determined that you are running micrsoft vista. In order to have Holdem Manager run
you should do the following.

I always followed Fozzy's link to no avail.

1 - Disable User Access Control in your control Panel - Users Section. This is needed in order to properly
install PostgresSQL

2 - Righ click Holdem.exe in your Holdem Folder, select properties and go to the second tab and make sure
it runs as admin.

3 - Repeat for hud.exe and dbcontrolpanel.exe

I double checked everything made sure HEM was updated, anyone had to error or know how to fix it? I've been running Postgres since I got HEM.

noob question: If i buy Holdem Manager will i be able to add hands to the database which are "poker tracker 2 processed hand files (with names such as 08132008042421370_FT20080813 Arbordale (6 max) - $0.50-$1 - No Limit Hold'em)" and if so how?

I exported the hands to a file on my desktop and then uploaded them into HEM. I had 4 databases and broke each one in half creating 8 folders on my desktop. I xported about 300k hands at a time if I remember correctly. It took quite a while so I did it while I was sleeping.

Has the multi-currency stuff come into the latest Beta yet?

If so do i need to export all my hands from PT2 and clean out HM then re-import as some HHs seem to have lost the currency in HM (I still use PT2 to keep track of the money amounts as i mainly play £ tables)

Re: New Software: Holdem Manager - 1.06.03 (15 day trial) 02-Sept-2008

Just made the switch from PT3 to Hold'em Manager, and I'm having some problems with Hold'em Manager's graphics for the on table HH display. Every time the HH displays the board and the hole cards of the last hand, the hole cards are randomly positioned on the screen with no correlation to who held them. Is there any way to position where the hole cards will appear on the screen? I've scrolled thru' most of the options and couldn't seem to find anything, and the graphic disappears too quickly to click and drag it.

Would appreciate some help, thanks.

Edit: While I'm at it, is there a fold to check-raise stat for the HUD, or is fold to check-raise rolled into fold continuation bet to raise?

My HUD is getting messed up and stats keep moving. What can i do?

It's not mentioned in that FAQ, but you can increase the muck card display time, or turn on the 'Mucked Card and Elignment Edit Mode', by going to the HUD Options > Table Prefs.

What's the Mucked card and alignment mode suppose to do? I was told HEM had an option where it'd display all of the graphics, giving you the ability to position them with out waiting for the hand history to appear. Where do I find that?

Is it easiest just to put the muck time up to a couple minutes and go from there?

It does what you said:
