Re: New Software: Holdem Manager - 1.06 (15 day trial) 04-July-2008

I am very glad that we can edit the main popup now, but some changes need to be made in the PopUpDesigner. Fast.

(1) the Popup that I was working on last should be automatically loaded. When I am editing the "Sample" popup, I don't want to have to choose it in the dropdown menu every time I want to make a change.

(2) The listbox that displays all the stats needs to be changed somehow. I want to move an entire section somewhere else and currently the only way to do this is to click each individual stat and click "Move Up" a billion times, or remove the section of stats and recreate it. I'm not really sure what to suggest -- perhaps multi-select and dragging?

Just noticed that when I took short break (15-30min) and started to play again HM counted that as one session. So how long that break should be so that they are counted as two different sessions?

I believe the default is 30 minutes, with no hands. It can be edited in the config file, IIRC.

Line 54 of holdemmanager.config

Code:
<setting name="SessionTimeoutDuration">30</setting>

I had the same problem, found the font after some time. The old font was MS Reference Sans Serif 8 pt.

Re: New Software: Holdem Manager - 1.06 (15 day trial) 04-July-2008

When I installed 1.06 it asked if i wanted to do something to speed up imports. It said I can choose to do it later, but I forget what option it actually was, so I can't even find out more about it. What was the option?

Also ... what exactly does it do?

Thanks for any help,
Jack

A vacuum analyze should help - also prototyped something that will give a huge performance increase for reports / sessions / graphs etc for anyone with speed issues.
It doesn't. In fact, the DOS window closes instantly after opening up. I suspect some error message being shown, but it closes to fast to read whatever it says. I'd be very interested in that prototype stuff! I'm using 1.06.01 FWIW, but unless this version is known to contain some specific bugs, I don't think that has much to do with it.

Holdem Manager Import Speed

Why can I only import 5.3 hands/sec? Friends tell me I should be getting at least 100/second. Any help would be greatly appreciated as unless I c\an fix this problem, it renders the product obsolete.

Re: New Software: Holdem Manager - 1.06 (15 day trial) 04-July-2008

- There is a problem with the way the rakeback dates are stored. In locales where the format is day/month/year, HEM will try to store July 25th xxxx as 7/25/xxxx, which is not a valid date. The rakeback window will be unusable after that (I cleared the rakeback table in the db to get it back, was there any reference in another table I missed ?). It works fine when the date works in both day/month and month/day format.

- A bug with the HUD on Everest. Sometimes this happens with the holecards. Not that big of a problem, since I know my holecards usually, but it also happens with the cards shown at showdown.

I'm using 1.06.01e
