I tried downloading the latest patch and zipped it and now when I click on holdem manager icon it says it is already running even though its not

Is there a way to alter the fonts/colors of everything? I am so used to PT I am afraid that I need red/green etc. for the numbers.

Are you sure it isn't hiding in your system tray? Just reboot and try again and you should be ok.

It will adopt the same colors you have set for stats in the HUD. So, if you have 8% - 100% as a red value for 3 betting then everywhere there is a 3bet stat between 8 and 100 and will be red. Not ready yet though.

* The "Change Player" button now has a drop down on the side that lets you set or get the Default Player. Generally you would make your player_Id (or alias) the default player so that if you decide to check someone elses detailed stats you can quickly jump back to you by selecting "Get Default Player"

I downloaded and installed the patch, but the dates are still wrong. My last 2 sessions are being listed as November 9th and December 9th.

Excellent (except for the fact that it's not ready, of course). Here's a suggestion - could you have the color range configurations be exportable/importable as some kind of template file? It would make it much easier for users to exchange ideas on ideal colors.

Were those hand you already imported before? If you imported them before this patch then they will appear wrong but any files imported with the new patch (0.32b or newer) should appear right. The problem is 0.30b stamped the date wrong in the DB.

Next update will most likely require a re-import due to very large DB changes for enhanced functionality and better performance.

I have a feature request. I'd like to see a function built in to allow me to sort by multiple stats. Like right now I want to sort by highest 3bet% then highest VPIP

How can i have all my hands sort by
High card
1 pair
2pair
set and so on?

I'm trying to load his on my nw lap top. Its Vista (not by choice but Dell would noy put XP on it ).

When I try to download SQL I get all the way to the install step and the bar gets 3/4ths of the way across when it says "can't create account [username]. access denied" Any suggestions??

I'd probably not buy it without these additions, since PT is still pretty good and they're going to rival you in 3-4 months with a rerelease so could be a waste of cash?

in vista, you need to turn User Acount Control off while installing it.

You'll like it, it's a big update.

I don't think it would work like you think it would since in this example 3bet% is a number like 5.43423 (or whatever) so sorting by 3bet then vpip would still always sort just by 3bet since there aren't many ties if that makes sense.

You have to disable User Access Control (UAC) in the Control Panel to install Postgres on Vista.

You need to unzip the patch files into your program files\rvg software\holdem manager folder. It looks like you are running holdemmanager.exe right from the zip file.

I'm not sure I was clear enough describing what I'd like to see so I'll try again.

I want to see which people are 3betting a lot. Now when I sort by 3bet%, most of the top spots are occupied by maniacs. I'm more concerned though with the regulars who are 3betting light.

I'd like this to display something like this.

Villain1 VPIP 14% 3bet 8%
Villain2 VPIP 14% 3bet 7%
Villain3 VPIP 20% 3bet 10%

The only way I can see right now to weed out the maniacs is to set my minimum # of hands filter higher.

No offense but yea your gonna have to set a hands# filter to get the 3 bet stats of only regs instead of some random donk you played 76 hands with. This is a program on a computer not mind a mond reading device.

I would like to have in report and then a link to the hands tab, so that i can see in report:
Vpip/prf and so on and then i click on the sets and can then see biggest losses/wins

once the custom reports functionality is available, will we be able to set constraints like, exclude vpip &gt;40
Then have groups like :
select all hands where
vpip between 10 and 15, order by 3bet %
vpip between 15 and 20, order by 3bet %

where the 3bet% are ordered within the sub groups?

Next one is a big one (most of the DB changes) so probably not soon but I don't think it will take that long.

I don't think breaking it down like that in 1 view will work mainly because the amount of setup and user interface work needed to give someone this ability would be a pain and I don't think it would be used a whole lot. However, this is how the Players Tab looks at the moment (not released yet) so you can do what you want but you'll need to run the VPIP 10% to 15% first then the 15 to 20 etc

it's also many, many times faster than before. Future updates will let you filter results by stats other than Total hands and VPIP.
