I have a lot of notes on players on Pokerstars which I make in their software. As I play more tables I have to make them smaller which therefore makes the chat/note box much smaller. I decided I would rather take notes with HEM. Is there anyway to get the notes I've already taken with the stars software into HEM?

hello i have hm and i saw table scanner was on beta...

does it works well?

do you think it is very usefull (more than go to the lobby and find tables with big VPIP and no regulars)?.

how do you use it to find your best tables? i have a lot of stats but do not know how to use it, so i use HM but no table scanner

thanks for your help i would like to try it when its free to know if i buy it later

have a nice day

I think that people like you are going to have a lot of fun with the reporting functionality because you can build and share some fairly complex, creative reports with very little effort.

I downloaded The latest version yesterday to try it and Was amazed that it was super easy to set up with little effort I was up going and it wasn't hard at all.I've tried a couple other tracking program and could not get them to work properly I had to ask a lot of questions on two plus two to get it almost work ten i just said the hell with it.This one is pretty cool thanks for making it simpler.I just had a friend over and I sold him on it just bye showing him a couple of things like how much I won from him and my graph.I'm going to buy it for sure. Thanks for making it easier to set up.Now I have to learn How to maximize its potential is there any web sites with tips or videos on how to get the most out of hold em manager.thanks again

95% of all postgresql problems can be solved by doing this:

first reboot and then

1) Open up control panel
2) Double click on Administrative Tools
3) Double click on Services
4) Find the postgresql service in the list then right click and press “Start”

If it gives an error then check event viewer also in Administrative Tools and find Application and look for a postgres error. If the details mention a bogus postmaster.pid then delete the C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file and try the instructions again.

If you still get this problem then it is almost always due to anti virus / firewall / spyware software getting in the way of the connection between HM and the database

Can you check the original HH, i think they dont specify, Roy is going to try and see if he can workout based on the HH what speed it is but its a bit complicated so might take a while.

yes for the older ones youll need to Please export your hands from the old database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=173 then create a new database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm...aspx?faqid=146 and reimport the hands into the new database

Not only that, but hand importer doesn't seem to work. I've played 400 hands so far in my session ATM, but only 56 registered.

My whole program is just being weird.
Sounds like UAC is enabled, please disable it and reboot http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afm....aspx?faqid=73

Is it possible to mine stats when you are logged in and have tables open for pokerstars?

I know I can do it with Full Tilt. As long as I am logged in and have open tables it will load the hand histories and save the stats for the players. I'm trying to see how that works with Stars but it doesn't seem to be working.

I used ccleaner to uninstall postgress and then I downloaded the newest version and now hem works again. If you do this you should prolly back up ur database cuz this will delete it.

Ummm.....when I try to import the notes, the actual notes file doesn't appear in the Pokerstars folder. I know its asking for "notes" as the type of file?!? Am I screwing this up somehow. I can see the .txt file if I just go in through My Computer and what not!?!

Yep, you are right.

Because sng turbo and normal differs in buy in, maybe you can figure out what type of tourney is checking the buy in

It is against the TOS of either site to datamine. Just because you can mine FTP tables, doesnt mean it is OK to do so. PokerStars allows for you to 'pre-fetch' one hand for table selection. Go to HUD Options > Site Options PokerStars > Pre-Fetch

That is for importing a notes file that was already exported from HEM. Just select Options > Notes > Import Notes > From Pokerstars

Alright so I wake up this morning and turn on my PC and HEM asks me to put in my registration code again. SO i do that whatever.

When it opens it sitll has my DB but when I try to play and Auto import nothing happens. The import progress says auto importing and table manager shows my tables but nothing is being imported and no hud stats are being displayed.

how do i fix?

Hi.

In HEM: Options-> Player Aliases. Then create an Alias, different from your poker nicks and other players nicks, and add your nicks from Stars, FT and Party. If you´re interestad in how you run at Party, you go to Cash Games and change the playername to your Party nick and likewise for Stars or FT. If you want to see your stats for all three sites at the same time, you change to your "Alias".
I hope this is what you asked for.

I'm having trouble w/ importing FTP ante game hands. I've got version 1.08.04. The hands were written on my mac and I transferred them to my PC, which seems to have been the source of some problems in the past, but I thought that was fixed.

I purchased HEM through cardrunners, so would my software registration/details actually be held/known about by the HEM company? If just asking so if I ever left CR in the future, would they know that I did actually purchase the software? and be able to get new registartion codes if reqired (i.e after re-installing windows XP)? Later.
