Which version number did you use to make the backup and restore with? How many hands are in each database for your alias/heroes in the reports or player search window? A 6gb DB in HM2 should be about 1.25 - 1.5m hands. Can you PM/Email me some screen shots of the reports/search if you find any discrepancies?

In case you don't recall you can email me directly to my work email by sending it to fozzy@holdemmanager.com instead of hm2support@holdemmanager.com
screen shots sent....after a reboot there was no change

Which version number are you using. You may want to upgrade to the latest internal I posted above.

We have a new bug we just opened where the autorate colors/icons don't transfer but the text notes transferred fine. I just tested the latest internal build and confirmed that the text notes transfer fine using the backup/restore but the autorate/color icons do not.

The assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-5397: Backup ignores color marks for players.

If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email to support@holdemmanager.com and include "Notify Me When HM-5397 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

I got your email and will reply in detail shortly. It looks to me like your old database was showing much larger database info for some reason. The new/restored database appears to show the correct info given the number of hands you told me you have. I am not sure why exactly yet and trying some tests on some of my personal hands to see if I can duplicate something similar.

Hey,

I just got HM2 and I have a head ache already. Does any of you guys on the HM2 team do paid support over Skype so I can get some help setting it up?

Thanks,

/S

I installed the internal release and the notes disappeared from the old database as well. They came back when I reinstalled .6866. I don't care about color icons. I'm missing actual text notes.

Once imported you will need to go through it stat by stat and make sure everything is working as expected as some of the HM1 stat names were changed and will need to be removed/replaced with the new version of said stat to work properly.
thanks.

but if I'm moving the HUD config to a new computer without HEM1, is there a file in HEM1 to copy and move?

hi,

i notice sometimes the "Net Won/Lost" and "EV Net Won/Lost" figures under the Active Session tab differs from the same 2 figures in the Reports tab. Not sure why?

What specific problems are you having with the setup? Are you having problems getting the hands to import and HUD to work?

Please update to the latest stable internal version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

*If that doesn't help, please answer these questions - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...es+not+work%3F

Please email the answers, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

If we can't help you getting it to work with those answers via email we can schedule a remote support session with one of our techs to help iron out the kinks. To reduce any back and forth emails with our support team make sure you include the following details when you send us those answers via email:

Please let me know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session.

Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.com/teamviewer

Please read this important information before our teamviewer session. We cannot do the teamviewer session until all those issues are addressed below:
1 - Make sure you have updated your windows using the "Windows Update" feature http://www.update.microsoft.com/wind...&&thankspage=5
* - Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer 9 (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).
2 - Please make sure you have access to a good connection, we cannot provide support on really slow connections
3 - Please allow us full access otherwise it slows down the speed at which we can fix the issue

I can not reproduce this. I rolled back to 6866 and created a new db. I opened a cash hand and created a player note for a player. I installed the latest internal and ran the DB Update. The player name was still there in the HUD after the DB update.

Can you send us some screen shots of the notes in 6866 that are missing in the replayer HUD of the latest builds? Can you create a backup of the DB in 6866 and upload it to dropbox so we can download, restore it, and try to duplicate the problem?

Please email the screen shots and dropbox link for your backup file, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

\rvg software\Holdem Manager\Config\prefs.xml

That file will contain ALL of your HM1 hud layouts so you will want to delete any of the others that you don't need like the Default 1.0 hud, etc.

This doesn't sound familiar to me. Is this HM1 or HM2? Try installing the latest build to see if it fixes the problem:

HM2 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

HM1 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa..._22Jul2012.exe

Are you using 6866 still? We have 2 open bugs for this in our system:

HM-5324
Active Session - Won Column in Table Summary is wrong

HM-5029
EV in Active Sessions is off in some sessions

I personally can't reproduce this in a quick check of some random previous sessions in my database using 7176 but I don't have time to play a new cash 'active session' at the moment to see if it is maybe only an issue for the active session in the drop-down list. The numbers in the Reports > Sessions report should be correct if there are problems in the Active Session tab.

Please try updating to 7053 to see if it helps - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

If that doesn't help I am hopeful that these bugs will be fixed in one of our next official releases.

I think I was mistaken in thinking the update made the notes disappear. I updated the database and lost the notes in the new version of the database but they are still in the obsolete version.
