Re: Holdem Manager Support

I just bought HEM2 and I can't get it to install correctly. I've uninstalled PostgresSQL multiple times and tried many of the trouble shooting ideas from their support section to no avail. I've looked through the thread, but didn't see any suggestions (I'm sure they are there, but this thread is huge) Anyone have any suggestions?

I believe the 'use vs player' filter will only show hands where you put money in the pot vs the other player. If all of your hands for the villain in your database were hands you played against him on live tables (i.e. not datamined) then you can try to 'change' the selected player name from your hero to to the villain in question in the Reports > Overall report > click the [x] All radio button filter above the hands datagrid to load all of his hands and then right-click > replay all hands.

This is usually caused by some sort of 3rd party security software (firewall/antivirus) program.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Please try all the following steps - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rt+PostgreSQL+

If you continue to have problems send us an email and we can schedule a remote support session to help you get it installed and running.

Please email hm2support@holdemmanager.com, with a link to this thread, and your forum name, so we can schedule a Teamviewer session. Download the Teamviewer Quick Support Module - http://www.holdemmanager.com/teamviewer. Please let us know what time zone you are in and what time/days are convenient for you.

Please read this important information before our teamviewer session. We cannot do the teamviewer session until all those issues are addressed below:
1 - Make sure you have updated your windows using the "Windows Update" feature http://www.update.microsoft.com/wind...&&thankspage=5
* - Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer 9 (even if you use a different web browser) and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA).
2 - Make sure Holdem Manager is updated to the latest version http://www.holdemmanager.com/store/d...ds-manuals.php
3 - Please make sure you have access to a good connection, we cannot provide support on really slow connections
4 - Please allow us full access otherwise it slows down the speed at which we can fix the issue

It should be $40.19.

Please see this FAQ so you can upgrade your HM1 code to a HM2 code - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Upgrade+Policy

Re: Holdem Manager Support

Heya, im using HEM2.
Has been working fine up until now, switched games to 180 SNG's on Pokerstars, but they only get tagged as 180's when I cash. If I don't cash they are untagged, makeing it hard to look at graphs. I have been manually adding them in by adding a tag, was just wondering if there was a quicker fix?
Cheers.

It might be because you aren't saving summaries.

Any tournament with more than 1 table will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes.

You may need to request and import any/all of your old tournament histories and import those to HM2. Stars did not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive in the past, like FTP did. They recently added this feature, so please enable the option in the PokerStars client to be sure that it is enabled in the Pokerstars options and be sure that HM2 has added the folder to your Auto Import Folder Configuration.

http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...er+Stars+Setup

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Histories/Summaries.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. It will probably ask you to search/select your Pokerstars screen name. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...and+Histories+

If you continue to have problems, Please zip and email the problem hand histories and tourney summaries, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

Re: Holdem Manager Support

A friend of mine is having a problem with importing his hands into HEM2. After a mikogo session, it looks (hes playing on Carbon) a folder is being written/created for each session, and within that folder, folders for each table played are also appearing, but within those folders there are 0 hands files being written and each folder is blank.

Any idea why it would be writing folders for each table, but then there are no hand histories? very frustrating, thanks for the help guys!

Re: Holdem Manager Support

In the programfiles\carbon\handhistory folder, there are not files while you're playing?

Check in their options to make sur they're being saved.

Please update to this version

http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem, describe exactly what you were doing, and attach your log.txt file -

Please follow these steps completely:

Re: Holdem Manager Support

Sometimes when playing ZOOM my HUD still displays the previous players' stats. Sometimes it takes awhile to change.

Not always a problem but curious: Will this be fixed as soon as I upgrade to my SSD and 16gb(1600mhz, CL8) ram or do I have to invest in a better GFX Card? Will I benefit from a better GFX Card? (I have a GeForce GTS 250)

Thanks.

Re: Holdem Manager Support

Hi,

I've been using HM2 for some time and have to say that I miss some stats.
My HUD is set up to:
name/won$/hands
-----------------
vpip/pfr/steal/foldtosteal/3bet
-----------------
af/cbet/foldtocbet/raisecbet/wtsd

I think this is all I need in the main HUD. The problem is the popup. I don't know how to configure it and would like to see some cool configurations of yours.

Does anyone have a nice hud+popup configuration that I could import to HM2?

Mostly I miss
- aggresion % on every street
- bet against missed cbet flop/turn
- fold donk to a raise

I think all of these were in the default popup in HEM, I miss them...

Please PM me your answer, I might find it hard to find it here in this thread.

I doubt that this is caused by your machine so upgrading those components will have no effect on this problem.

Please update to the latest internal version we are testing - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloa...AutoUpdate.exe

There is a basic FAQ here - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Popup+Designer

There is a video for it on the HM2 > Home tab > HM2 TV app > 'HUD Options - Popup Designer' - http://wpc.0997.edgecastcdn.net/0009...upDesigner.wmv

That video is scheduled to be updated/replaced now that we have improved the layout/functions of the Popup Designer window but I don't have an ETA for a new video yet.

I saw your thread you started about this here. You might also want to try posting the same thing in our new sub-forum we created for sharing popups - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/shar...onfigurations/

Re: Holdem Manager Support

I have a problem with HM1. I am using the most recent update.

I was playing the euro tables on Ipoker William Hill skin today, and the hands were being imported as £ instead, so when converted to usd obviously the figures were off. It happened on 2 separate sessions so it wasn't a one off thing.

I tried deleting the hands from today and reimporting them from HM archive, but the first time I tried it said all the hands were duplicates, despite no hands showing for "today" on any of the tabs. When i tried importing again it just says 0 files found.

Cheers.

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...elete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...6+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...+-+Backup+Tips

If you continue to have problems, please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com
