Is it normal that when i look into my processes running of windows task manager, i have like 15 instances of postgres.exe?

I downloaded the latest "beta" version yesterday or the day before i can't remember exactly

Completely normal and you can have 20+ postgres.exe processes running at times. This is just how postgresql works.

I'm having a bunch of issues with either HM crashing or causing ignition to crash-nearly every day...no idea why or how to stop it...help?!?!

If you continue to have problems, please duplicate the issue and send us log files with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing:
- Open Windows Event Viewer's (Control Panel > System & Security > Administrative Tools or Start > Search > 'Event Viewer') > Windows Logs > Applications.
- Check for any errors and send the information (Save All Events As...).
- Please send your \HM2Logs folder files as well.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then right-click > 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email. If you have any problems with dropbox try using filedropper.com

Recently, I've exported all the hands from 2017 that I had on my laptop because I'll be going abroad for a while.

Something doesn't seem to add up because I'm missing small amount of hands here and there every month on my laptop that I have on my PC.

Like for example, last March

Like, I've also emailed stars for my HHs and such and they've send them to me, but still, there's something that the HM2 on my laptop is not picking up or something.

Also, I've checked all the filters and nothing's checked and don't really understand why there's always some hands missing for each month.

Weird thing, the date format as you can tell by the filters is not the same on the HM2 laptop so i was wondering if that could be the issue?

I'm unsure about how to solve this problem which I've been trying to do these last few days.

The date formatting is likely due to the windows region and language settings being different on each computer.

Have you tried importing the original hands from your C:\HM2Archive folder instead of exporting them? That is usually going to be more accurate than exporting them but the most accurate should be what you did when requesting them from stars. If you want us to investigate this you would need to send us a backup of the original database, a copy of the exported hands and a copy of the hands stars sent you.

Please create a support ticket via the Contact Support link and attach the requested files with a link to this forum thread and your forum name. When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. I have just purchased holdem manager(the 99.99 dollar version) and Im having trouble using it. The hud isnt working and only 4 hands appear on the reports tab even tho i've played a few hundred now while using Hem.

Make sure your site is configured to save hands and that HM2 is setup to auto import those hands.

*Note that we do not support play money hands so you must test/play real money hands when using HM2.

Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time.

Please see this FAQ on how to use table finder if you are playing regular non-zoom type tables.

This stat does not exist in HM2. There is 'Raise vs 2+ Raisers' but it includes all 4,5,6 cold bets.

It is a percentage stat like most of of the other stats in HM2.

Okay , got another question too.Do you know if at HM2 , the stat "sb 4bet range" refers only to sb 4bet range BvB or it is this + sb cold 4bet?

Is the problem that all of the stats are dashes or that when you click on the HUD the main popup doesn't show? It sounds like the problem is the latter but with no stats being shown in that HUD I need to be sure. Answering the questions so we better understand the problem and sending those answers with the requested logs is going to be the best way to start honestly but I do have one more thing I can suggest to be sure your HUD/popups or settings are not corrupted:

Please export your HUD's in HUD Settings > HUD Designer.

Then delete the prefs.xml file in this folder:

Windows 7/8/10, Vista

C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Config

XP

C:\Documents And Settings\[Username]\Application Data\HoldemManager\Config

To see these folders you may have to enable hidden files.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again. If the problem returns after importing the custom HUD then you know that config is corrupted and you will need to delete it and rebuild it from scratch or import an older backup of that HUD config that was created before the corruption. If you have to rebuild the HUD and don't have a backup/export of your HUD from before the corruption occurred you can try to find a similar HUD to use as a starting template from our HUD Repository.

If none of that helps please send the answers/logs, etc from my previous reply in a support ticket so we can better assist you.
