The Hud will load on stars cash tables but not tournaments, I'll PM you a screenshot. I'm fairy certain it's a configuration issue and HEM just isn't importing the hand for whatever reason.
I replied to your PM. There was no screen shot in the PM.

Can you tell us which version number of Windows 10 you have installed? You can check the version by clicking the start icon and typing 'winver' and checking the window that opens as shown in the attached image.

What do you see? There is no image in your post. Is it a postgresql error?

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles can cause communication issues between Holdem Manager and PostgreSQL.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager and we can rule out it being a security software issue:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles completely. Disabling them never fully disables them and they will continue to prevent communication in the background.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ender+Problems
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender (unless you are using Windows 10, in which case it should be enabled), and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rewall%29#MSES
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials (unless you are using Windows 10) for antivirus/malware protection and update it - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14210

Please see the following guides for postgres related issues if you have further issues after installing.

When installing, you may encounter an error referring to the database initialization. If so follow this part of the FAQ below:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...+#wont-install

For other security software see here:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...%28Firewall%29

If you continue to have problems, please duplicate the issue and send us log files with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing:
- Open Windows Event Viewer's (Control Panel > System & Security > Administrative Tools or Start > Search > 'Event Viewer') > Windows Logs > Applications.
- Check for any errors and send the information (Save All Events As...).
- Please send your \HM2Logs folder files as well.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then right-click > 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email. If you have any problems with dropbox try using filedropper.com

We should have a new beta 8475 live soon to fix the issues that fastfold.dll file was causing.

Which antivirus? If the AV is the cause of your problems it must be uninstalled and your PC rebooted as explained above. Simply turning it off is not enough. I will give the full remove AV and reinstall HM2 instructions again below.

There may be other files that are not getting installed as well so I don't know if just extracting the installer contents and copying that file in would be enough.

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software (even windows defender or security essentials) bundles and dont reinstall them until after you reconnect postgresql.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Uninstall HM2* and then Reinstall HM2 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...er_2_Setup.exe
- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock.*
* If you do not see an 'unblock' option you can ignore this step.
- Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

*This will not affect your database, settings or original hands in your archive folder.

Hello

I have been making notes using HEM2 while playing.

After a review of an opponents playing strategy I wanted to add a note on them, but cannot seem to work out how to access my notes when not playing.

Where in the HEM2 software can I add a note so that I can see it when at the tables?

You can access the HUD notes when not playing by opening the replayer for a hand that player was in (select them in the Hero menu) or by opening the hand history viewer via right-click > 'view' for one of his hands then click his screen name from the list of the player names and it will open the 'Player Notes' tab on the right side.

I do not know anything about TN2. Please ask in the Table Ninja Support Thread.

Edit: I see you already did. If you don't get an answer soon please create a support ticket on our site with your question.

Is there a way I can make copying a hand history in a universal format so I can use only one HH converter regardless of format? Your send to twitter doesn't work for me and I play on some sites that have less support out there.

I'd love it if I could say "copy HH in PokerStars format" for example. Thanks.

Why doesn't the send to twitter work for you? I was just testing it the other day and it worked well for me on my site.

You can only export a hand in it's original format, plain text, HTML or one of the forum formats built in to the hand history viewer's 'copy hand to clipboard' options.

It always takes me back to my login page, I put my credentials in, it saves correctly then I go post to twitter and it takes me right back. I just assumed it was a functionality that was never used and didn't bother opening a support ticket.

Edit: where is that option to copy as plain text? That'd be perfect versus raw hand history. I can't find the copy hand to clipboard option.

Open any report, right-click a hand in the lower hands grid portion of the report > right-click > view then look to the first 2 options in the lower right corner of the hand history viewer (#8 and #9) - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...51/Hand+Viewer

#9 opens a list of export/copy options then #8 will actually copy it to your clipboard.

- Tournament > More Reports > Winnings Summary to see a list of hands by big blind size or you can use the More Filters > Tournament Filters > Blinds > Big Blind = X to filter for specific blind sizes/ranges in any report.
- More Filters > Basic Filters > Common Filters > 3Bet = Yes (or Quick Filters > 3Bet)

This will show all hands by blind level where you 3Bet.

You generally can't filter by opponent actions, only selected hero's actions but you could try using the first report/filter above along with the More Filters > Advanced Action Filters options to filter for the 'folded to, called or 5-bet' portion of your question. The other option would be to assign all opponents to an alias, select that alias as the active hero/player and filter from their point of view but you will get hands back that anyone 3 bet, not just your screen name.

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve.

The assigned internal issue # on this issue is HM-8866

We need some more logs for this along with screen shots and hand history files to be able to fix it. A few people have reported it (also affects 500nl) but so far we have only received one set of logs and that customer failed to send the screen shots or hand history files we asked for.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

Hi Fozzy,

After the last updates my HM2 doesn't connect to PostgresQL anymore.
After opening HM2 I get the window 'unable to connect to PostgresQL'.

I have experienced this error before and know which steps to take to solve this problem. Apparently, when I uninstall my McAfee AV Software and retry to run HM2, it works again...

So, now I can't run my McAfee software anymore when I want to use HM2, can those two programs just not run simultaneously?

Previous months of this year HM2 and McAfee did work together on my pc, so it must be solveable right?

They may have released an update that is causing postgresql connection issues.

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager. They can block the database folder, keeping us from writing to it. In some cases, we have seen them corrupt Windows to the point the hard drive needs to be reformatted. We do not recommend using them at any time with HM2. We recommend Microsoft Security Essentials or Kaspersky for the lowest chance of HM2 conflicts while staying protected against viruses.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe

No, postgresql doesn't care if you paid for your AV or not it just doesn't work well with it. Some people have no issues and others have nothing but problems so we have no choice but to recommend you don't use those antivirus programs that we know can cause problems with the postgresql connection unfortunately. This is the main reason HM3 will not use postgresql as that was the most common problem with HM2 users.
