Re: Holdem Manager Support

I have only played on 2 sites, PokerStars and Americas Cardroom. I can no longer play on PokerStars, and you don't yet support ACR, so I might as well delete everything in the database.

What is the best/easiest way to do that?

You can create a new database in options - database management.

Re: Holdem Manager Support

trying to install v1 of HEM on new computer and unable to install postgress sql DB at the end. installation finished and i am getting an error.

i tried uninstalling HEM and re-installing it again and got the same issue.

tried installing postgress DB on its own through this link (http://www.postgresql.org/download/windows/) and am still unable to load the DB when i try to launch HEM.

any idea how to fix this? let me know if you need any other info.

thanks a lot for your time/help

Re: Holdem Manager Support

Thank you very much for the reply, everything is working together much better now, still minor problems with the stats not updating on tables, but I have figured out that all you have to do is use the Table Finder feature, and select the table, and it will update the stats on that table (spread the word to others having this issue).

I have a question, and if there is no way of doing it, a major suggestion that I guarantee you all of your users will be very happy for.

Is it possible to set player names (as displayed on the hud) as abbreviated? There are several players with very long screen names (and all capitals), and because of their long names it stretches the box of the hud far beyond what is necessary to display all of the stats. This results in a cluttered, much larger than normal box (abnormal box).

In HM1, you could abbreviate the player names as displayed on the hud. Is this possible in HM2?

If it is not possible, please please pass this along to the developers so they can include this in an update. I have spoken with many other players who have this same question/concern. Very much appreciated.

Also, another quick question, whenever I am playing I have to click onto a table first before I can hover over a players name, or click a recent hand thats been played on my hud. Is there a way to have a "point to click" or whatever feature? Meaning, you can click on any part of the hud stats on any table at any time, you dont have to click twice (essentially what is happening now). This would greatly save time, and time is very important when you are trying to quickly look at stats. Same as above, if this is not a feature, please pass this along as a suggestion. These 2 small things make a world of difference.

Thanks a lot for your help & replies!

In Stat Appearances, set the decimal to 1 or 2 to shorten his name.

I have forwarding the second question on. I am a serial clicker and cannot recall how it works because of that.

This can be done in the basic filters, choosing the stakes.

We are sorting an issue with some HH's since Stars stopped writing Zoom into them, and the hands are not reading as Zoom.

Re: Holdem Manager Support

updated HEM1 to most recent 1.12.10 version (apr 15), and have a hud at zoom now. but it may as well not even be there because it's laggy as anything. doesn't pop up until the 2nd hand played, and lags behind by about 2-4 hands showing stats of the villains that played on my tbl 2-4 hands ago, not the ones currently on the tbl. known bug or is it just me?

Thats not the standard behaviour. Which operating system?
Please restart your computer, install the update again as first thing after the restart and try again.
