This is a goodbye post.

After win10 the 2ndary login thing has become unsolvable. Already before this the last working version for me has been one year old one. Also an unsolvable problem. I did try the free test of pokertracker also but it froze. Both uninstalled.

I am now using just the free trackers. No problems there. I also stopped playing at stars and at other rake greed sites. So this is much a new area for me now.

So, goodbye, feeling actually better and free now, and an interesting path ahead, much with no hud no tracker, as i did over ten years ago plus lots of good up to rake free play.

Did you email us about this or post on our forums? We should be able to help you to solve this.

For what it's worth: If you play cash games HM Cloud does not use PostgreSQL and we are testing the possibility of not using PostgreSQL in our future versions of desktop HM products.

The ones in the default HUD are a good starting point. Beyond that I would suggest you ask in one of the various strategy sub-forums here for the particulr game type/stakes you play to see what other player's in your games are using.

After six months of this problem and doing everything including asking u and others it just happened to my other tracker. Turning windows defender off solved all problems. The problem was that i didnt know i had one. It sure was obvious it was because of blocking, but no one really knew and the existence of that defender isnt obvious.

This is a common problem and step 10 of our postgresql can't start FAQ/video suggests turning off windows defender. We also have instructions for Security Essentials (Windows Defender in Win 8/10) in our firewall FAQ. It is also mentioned in step 2 of our Windows Firewall / Defender Problems FAQ with instructions for setting exclusions in Defender.

The way to do what you want would be to create an alias with one villain then go to the Players tab and add villains to the Alias one by one with the right-click menu. We do not import any observed hands. Stars allows us to pre-fetch a few hands to activate the HUD to aid in table selection but these don't actually go in the database.

Is there a reason that pot odds only worked for mtts with ipoker and pokerstars when it is readily available in the replayer regardless of what site it's displaying?

We control the replayer fully. To make them work on a site it required optical character recognition of the chat box for each and every site and each site had to be coded separately. This is why at it's peak it only worked on 2 of the most popular sites. The release of the ipoker beta clients broke it for that network and when stars released their third party tools rule changes we had to disable the live tracking to disable the street by street HUD. I don't think pot odds are against the new rules but they also required the live tracking feature. Going forward we will focus our developer's time on new features that will work on all sites fully.

Hi. I'm currently playing zoom and for some reason my hud on one of the zoom tables disappears with no hands being imported from that table. The other three are fine. Never experienced this problem before.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I' having trouble with the seating preference option.

I have it places on seat 3 and it matches up for a while.

Then about 30 minutes into the session it goes to seat 2 or 4.

Any idea what is happening here? It's very frustrating as I am making mistakes ready the hud as its on the wrong people

Please update to the latest version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...r_2_Update.exe

After downloading, right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator to complete the reinstall.

Make sure you always start HM2 first before you open the PokerStars Client. If you closed PokerStars for any reason and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM2 before you start PokerStars again.

IMPORTANT Zoom Installation Instructions:
On the first run, you must start the Hold'em Manager 2 HUD BEFORE you launch PokerStars. If PokerStars is open, you must close PokerStars, start the HUD and then open PokerStars before Zoom HUD will function properly. If the Zoom HUD is not displaying after doing the above, please uninstall PokerStars, delete the associated C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\PokerStars.xx folders. and re-download and install PokerStars as the PokerStars installation is more than likely corrupted and a PokerStars reinstall should resolve the issue.

2) Move the stats with the Arrow Buttons (< >) on the Table Averages HUD to rotate your HUD where it belongs.
3) Now you can open further tables but you will always have to play at least one hand for the stats to be moved to the correct positions.

If you continue to have problems:

1) Export any custom HUD configs.
2) Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] All Configs > OK
3) Manually reset your Site Setup > Seating Preferences > for your site/seats and any other HUD Settings you had personalized.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again. If the problem returns after importing the custom HUD then you know that config is corrupted and you will need to delete it and rebuild it from scratch or import an older backup of that HUD config that was created before the corruption.

If none of that helps I would add the name stat to the HUD you are using if not already there so it's easier for you to see when it is out of alignment, and we will want to see the names in the HUD when you send us the following files/logs:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. Please reproduce the problem and:
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot

So i use HEM with WPN and it works fine on my PC. Recently WPN released a mac beta so i had support email me the HHs i played on the beta in a raw txt file (same format that comes in on the PC version). However, when i try to upload the files via upload a file, it comes up blank. No errors no nothing. Help?

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth e.g C:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31 or if it was auto-imported with v7283+ it would be in C:\HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.

Hey,

Where do I find Hem2 coach? I am having technical issues and cannot resolve on my own.

My Hud started to lag with stat importing so I tired to backup the database but it didn't create the file needed to import just a lot of text files.

This will ensure that you have your hand histories and HUD saved to import into a new computer, and as a backup to restore in case of an emergency.

If the database backup doesn't complete and create the .pghembk file it is usually because you don't have enough free space on your system drive. We use the system drive for the process of creating the backup even if you picked on a system drive to save the backup file to.

Well I play heads up cash and my results vs certain players are completely wrong due to matches I've railed whilst leaving HEM running? For example I'm + $285 vs a player I just played (he confirmed this). My hud is showing him - 1.4k!

Which site/network? Have you two ever shared hands from your databases?

Can you pick him as the hero in your database then select all his hands from the overall report hands grid, right-click > save to hard drive... and zip/email us the exported files so we can investigate this further? We will need to test those hands to start and have our testers do some live play and observing on that network to figure out what is causing your discrepancies.

This is on Stars and its the same vs all players I've played. I've just played a guy at 400nl for 30 hands and his hud says he's - 6k, which comes from matches ive railed him at higher stakes, obv not 400nl. I will do all the above though.

Okay so recently i had to restart my computer while playing on stars because my hem2 would freeze. Basically new tables that show up wouldn't have any hud stats up on any player. And the current tables that did have stats up, well those numbers never change etc and i dont like to play without my hud.


I then restarted my computer without any issue then logged into stars and opened hem2 again.


Well i opened hem2 and all im getting now is


loading player hands


preloading hands


work in progress, please stand by.


Its been like this for a while. How do i fix this issue?

After discussing this with our testers I was incorrect and those 2 pre-fetched hands do go into the database (haven't played there since black Friday so I forgot) but it seems unlikely that this would cause the types of discrepancies you mentioned so please send the hands so they can investigate in detail

To disable the pre-fetch open the Site Setup menu and delete this path from the PokerStars > Auto Import Folders list:

C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\HEM Data\Hands

Please try a clean install of HM2. This will preserve your database and backup your HUD and settings.

1) Export any custom HUD configs.
2) Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] All Configs > OK

Step 1 – Restore Default Settings:
First try restoring your default settings, often some settings files can become corrupt and cause these issues:

Step 2 – Uninstall and reinstall HM2 with Revo uninstaller:
Other times critical system files may not have been installed on previous updates and it can also cause these types of errors or in some cases antiviruses may have removed files that it mistook for unsafe. Doing a revo uninstall also removes old registry file information which might have become corrupt. You can download the free version here: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_..._download.html and there is a useful tutorial how to use it here:

Uninstall Holdem Manager 2 via Revo unistaller and then reinstall this version:

Please add this file to your firewall and antivirus exceptions and run it as Administrator.
