I'm playing both cash and rush before downloading the update. Rush is working, regular cash is not. I'm going to download the update, and I suppose it will switch.

Make sure windows is fully updated and change your Windows Control Panel > Regional Settings Format to English (USA). Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English.

Reboot your computer and update again.

Today i hit a wall, i have been using HEM 1.09.03 for a long time now as this was the latest version i could run on my terribly out of date vista SP1, i have not been able to update windows over a year now because of stupid registry errors that was caused by windows update back in june of 09. So anways today FTP comes out with update and i am no longer able to use HUD or import files.

Long story short i am now upgrading to windows 7 doing clean install, i need to know what files i need to backup regarding HEM from my database and anything else i need to know to get HEM running on my new OS once it is installed. Thanks

Sorry, I have no idea. I would suggest you try using the old/manual method of backup and restore using PGAdmin.

Otherwise my only suggestion would be to just rebuild the DB via manually importing the original hands.

new session it also seems the 20-50bb tables are not showing up

To get all your missed hands imported

1) Right-Click your Desktop > New > Folder.
2) Go to your \HMArchive folder - To verify the path, go to Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: _________.
3) Open that folder and copy the hands (folders of hands) you think it has missed. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31). Also get any hand files that are in your \poker site\hand history folder.

Apparently it is also the case for a few others (I saw that on HEM forums).

Here are my cliff notes I usually give out:

Find and backup your \HMArchive folder. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

Export Your Notes - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/notes-02.jpg

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback - Options > Rakeback & Bonuses - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/...bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

Sorted, did it in pgadmin, working fine now!

I don't understand how it took 30 mins to restore the whole 350k hands in pgadmin, yet it takes 3+ hours to export 50k hands the manual way? something must be wrong right?

I'm on a i7 core 2.6gz desktop with 6 gig ram.

How do I get rid of the little icon next to the HUD stats (the picture of the spade)??? I know this is a really simple answer but I've been trying to figure it out for over an hour and it's driving me nuts!

I am using 1.11.03, rebooted, and updated again... still not working (no HUD and no Stats on fulltilt) .

I found the video overly confusing, first whenever i try to export my database my hem just freezes up it does not even ask me which folder i want it sent to.

I was able to locate my HMarchive and am in the process of copying over to my backup folder (says i have a 30 minute wait ahead of me) ARe the exported DB and hmarchive the same thing? or am i screwed because my HEM goes to (not responding) everytime i try to export my DB?

Ok, nevermind. I kept restarting the program and the icon is no longer there for some reason.

ok update, i was able to export my database, also my HUD config. Im not concerned with the rakeback,bonuses, and notes. So watching the video i see him also copy the actual holdemmanager file ( on my computer located at C

rogram files/rvg software) so i copy this to my backup file as well?

one thing i noticed is the my database and archive folder are pretty similar if not exactly. Are they one and the same?>

fozzy, last night i did a disk cleanup and defrag. now my hands aren't importing from today but the hud is still up. what's going on here and can you help? i also just updated to 1.11.03
