Hello I have couple of problems!

1)HEM does not show any of my tournaments any more in Tourney->results-> data view tab! I think they are not apearing in results too then!

2)HEM counts all my MTTs fors stars as loses for me! And it always gets nr. of entrants wrong!

Do the hands show up in the other tabs and graph? If hands are missing from one view only it is often a sign of a corrupt/damaged database. Make sure the Options > Miscellaneous Options > Auto Apply Filter Changes to All Tabs and make sure that all Filters are cleared.

HM can easily calculate the correct winnings and placings if its a sng where all the players are at the same table. However with MTTs and 2+ table tournaments HM has no way of knowing whether there is 10 people in the tournament or 10,000 so without this info HM cant workout your position or payout or if the tournament is complete. You can manually edit or also you can request summaries which detail the total people in a tourny, the payout positions and your finishing place, if you import this into HM it will update the results for you but not all site give summaries.

You need to request and import any/all your tournament histories and import those to HM. Stars does not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive, like FTP does.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Summaries.

They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder. HM > Import From Folder for all of the unzipped hands.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments. HM > Import File(s) for all of those files. It will probably ask you to search/select your Pokerstars screen name. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions.

Then later, you want to import the summaries on a regular basis:


Pokerstars > Lobby > Requests > Tournament History .. > 200

Then you have to create a text file, from the email, to import to HM.

There are not hands missing wholde tournaments are missing and they do not apear in any tab! HUD was working fine during those tournaments! To be clear HEM does not show any tournaments played after 18/05/2010

i have a older macbook pro t2600 @ 2.16Ghz running bootcamp and recently whenever i have holdem manager on with full tilt my comp gets slower and full tilt graphics slow down and get choppy how do i fix this and speed up hem

just got hem n i love it but it causes full tilt to lag n cards dissapear . anyone else have this problem i just bought another 2gbs of ram for a total of 4gb to try n fix this problem but it didnt work i was wondering wut other parts of my computer i should upgrade to help with this problem because im comp tard

I don't know MACs at all, but I can give you the general HM performance tips for windows.

If you are using multiple panel HUDs disable that option and increase the opacity of all HUD options so there is no transparency. In the task manager, set the holdemamanager.exe, hmhud.exe, and hmimport.exe to High-Priority.

Make sure windows and your video drivers are fully updated.

1 - Close HM and Open PGAdmin

2 - connect to postgresql server and then to the DB. Password is postgrespass in case you ever need it.

3 - Right-Click > Maintenance on the DB.

4 - Vacuum, Analyze > OK

Wait for it to finish and change the greyed out OK button to a Done button.

Do that ever 10 -30k hands.


Every 50 - 100k hands, after finishing the steps above:

A - Right-Click > Maintenance on the DB.

B - Reindex > OK

Wait for it to finish and change the greyed out OK button to a Done button.



Next we need to Stop the PostgreSQL service so the Defragmenter can Defrag the Database.

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL 8,4 > Stop Server


Open Smart Defrag > Select both drive letter checkboxes > Analyze

Pick suggested Defrag process > Start Defrag


After Smart Defrag finishes you should restart your computer.

If you need to use HM before you restart your PC, then you need to Start Server.

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL 8,4 > Start Server


Make sure you configured the auto import folder properly. Sometimes point the Options > Configure Auto Import Folders ... to the \Full Tilt Poker main folder instead of the \Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory folder.

There was an update a few days ago - the tourney hand histories now include summaries for Stars. Haven't played any tourneys yet there, so don't know if that is causing an issue.

I submitted 2 bugs monthS ago, I didn't have any update on them and when I request 'em, the support told me everytime the same thing: on to do list...
I posted in the forum and I got no attention...
lol, after months is rediculous, is funny that one problem (problem with export hands for HM database) is not resolved... what about of someone loses the HH?
I hope other customers are happy with the product and with your support, because I don't

When I click on Reports for example, I see 100 of my last hands played, but it takes a while to show it... In fact, I don't care much about those 100 hands... Is there any option to show 10 hands by default, and more whenever I wish so?

any chance we can have a update to have the 20-50, 40-100, deep tables separated in the stakes breakdown?

We are working on support for the new summary format but I dont think it caused hand import errors (but I havent been on the forums much).

I apologize for the delay. For quite a while we were missing a hand parsing programmer so a lot of bugs got backed up to be fixed. We have someone full time now going through them but there is a lot so it will take some time for him to dig out.

No, but you can speed it up by a few adjustments and some regular DB maintenance.

Some of the most important things, imo:

- Remove the WinnerName, WinnerCards and WinnerWon from the Options > Hands View Column Selection. This will make it easier for HM to generate the various Hands windows.
- You can also turn off the Options > Miscellaneous Options > [ ] Use Graphical Cards
- Turning off logging and deleting existing logs

Just purchased HM the other day and am have a weird problem with rush poker. Three out of the 4 tables the HUD shows up properly and on the 4th it doesn't show up at all. This isn't fixed by any combination of restarting the various programs. If I switch the table view, then one that didn't work starts working and the ones that did work stop.....and the HUD images are now "frozen" I can't move them and they don't update. Sometimes one also stops if I move the tables arround and random other quirks it isn't 100% along the lines of what I siad above but this is the most usual behaviour.

i have created three HUD configs, one for stars, one for ipk and one for entraction. The stars and entraction are working properly: each time I play there, the correct HUD shows. But for ipoker, it always use the defualt HUD config, I have to switch by click the HEM and select the ipoker for each table and for each time I play, can you help? thanks. my defualt config is set to be used by party.

Make sure when opening new rush tables that you wait for the previous table's HUD to appear. SO dont open a 4th table until you see the HUD on the 3rd table.

The Rush HUD in our latest version is a bit goofy, for some people. I have no problems on my machine but I have done more rush support sessions than normal the past few weeks. The developers are working on it for the next update. Some people have good success by simply downgrading to 1.10.06a - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmB...e_1.10.06a.exe

Cash games or tourneys? I think we have some issues with the HUD configs and/or positioning in tourneys there, but cant recall for sure.
