Hey Fozzy,

I used the Full Tilt Beta HH request and collected all my hands for the period when my missing hand occured, and after searching through the wall of text found my hand! i then placed this into my folder and HEM picked it straight up, so my database is now complete!

Just wanna say thanks for the help!

TableTracker has stopped working for me. I use it on iPoker only. When I try to run it, it throws up a dialog with "iPoker: Could not detect iPoker Lobby". This has only started in the last few days, prior to that it was working fine. My old version (not sure which ver) was doing it so I upgraded to 1.10.03b but it hasn't fixed the problem.

My iPoker client is Victor Chandler. I have tried reinstalling the client as well.

You need to backup your \HMArchive and export all of your HM DB's to text files. You should also export tourney results, hud notes, and custom huds to be thorough. Then you can uninstall 8.3 and install 8.4 using our combo installer. Make sure to uncheck the [x] holdem manager install option.

We are working on a new integrated backup process to simplify the process.


1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/Hol...ager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

Yes, this will be fixed in the next minor update. I have no ETA for when it will be, but I think it will be sooner, rather than later.

hi well this really wasnt much help and the link is asking me for money, and i dont really want to have to pay to get my hem working when i have already paid for it and antivirus, i just want to use my hem again

Right i have done everything listed and downloaded the new version but when i opened hem still said threat detected trojan

Hold 'Em Manager & Double or Nothing SNGs [PLEASE USE THE "Commercial Software" SUB-FORUM]

Hello.

I recently purchased Hold 'Em Manager and I am going to be playing 99% DoN SNG tournaments on Poker Stars ...

What is the best way to configure Hold 'Em Manager for this purpose? I don't even know where to begin. I have my hands imported but I am clueless on how to use this advanced program.

Any tips out there how to configure this program optimally for DoN SNGs?

HEM HUD issues [PLEASE USE THE "Commercial Software" SUB-FORUM IN FUTURE]

Just purchased HEM today and have uploaded pretty much this same issue on website but support hasnt been great.

Cant get the HUD to work at all. It was initially because I was auto-importing a back-log of hands that was gonna take upwards of 12 hours to finish.

So anyway, I was told to do a manual import which is currently happening but still I have no HUD.

Really annoying. $5 on stars for person who helps me get it running.

The HUD only works with auto import. Once you have bulk imported all your hands you can run the auto import and play poker with the HUD.

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmbetaupdate

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer (start > computer) and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right-click + Properties the executables and select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab. If you have Vista and the checkboxes are greyed out and you can't select it, please turn UAC on, reboot, and then set the files to run as administrator.

Make sure the hand histories and poker client are in English. Set your Windows Regional and Language Settings to English (US). Restart your PC.

Ok, so should the bulk import really be taking as long as it is? Because its pretty much just the same as the auto import I was using and in the thread i created on the site forum, you implied that my HUD wasnt working because of the backlog of hands being auto-imported rather than manual.

They do not want you to make new threads here for HEM questions. There is a stickied thread in the commercial software forum.

Please don't double post your questions on the HM forums and here, as it is usually me or morny that will be answering it twice.

A bulk import import can take many hours depending on how many hands you have and how fast/slow your pc is. The HUD only works with auto import going, and no old hand histories being imported. The auto import searches for new hands every 5 seconds so it can update the HUD.

Once your bulk import is done you can start auto import and play. Make sure all of your auto import folders are empty and make sure your \HMArchive is configured properly. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).
