Re: Holdem Manager: 1.10.02 Official Release (15 day trial) (Omaha & Table Scanner/Tracker)

My "Use Graphical Cards" option is broken. When I click it, it toggles the "Use Winning / Losing Row Colors" option.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Is Windows and your video card drivers up to date?

Which version of HM? Please update to the latest version 1.01.02 - http://www.holdemmanager.net/hmupdate

sometimes doesn't. Sometimes it works fine; sometimes the blinds and antes disappear immediately after opening.
This was a bug in older versions and should be fixed, or at least better, in the current versions.

This is a known bug and should be fixed in the 1.10.03 release on Friday.

-coming soon- as of 12/01/2008

Poster wants you to be honest about that "coming soon" statement you keep using. 10/22/2008

"Coming soon" after Ongame and tournament support. Seems dishonestly optimistic. 9/03/2008

http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/s...light=currency
"should be soon" as of 8/01/2008 No mention of tourney support.

http://www.holdemmanager.net/forum/s...light=currency
You state that currency support is being worked on. Now you're saying you won't work on it until after tournament support. 7/10/2008

also all posts before this were on the old HEM forums which no longer seem to be available, and I remember you saying even farther back than this that currency support would be COMING SOON
Same thing happened with importing of tournament histories from E-mail (which Poker Office had over a year ago). I was told about six months about that is was coming, then that it would be soon. Now it is not planned at all.

do you guys have triple-draw tracking on your agenda anytime soon?

I could really use any kind of tracker for my triple draw results, even just something logging wins/losses would be great for tax reasons.

Thanks. I guess I was naive to how much space HH's actually take up in HM.

Recently I've been just datamining myself and auto-importing the hands with HM and it's probably no coincidence that I'm running into this problem now.

I'm not too computer - savvy but what steps do I take to zip up my hands for import so that they are compressed? Thanks a lot.

Q about multicurrency support, if I play on euro site ATM and HEM currently imports them as $, do I need to purge the $ hands and reimport to get them show in euro?

Next on the list is Stud support, hopefully sometime this summer. I imagine the draw game support would come after that, if they plan to add draw support. I wish I could import my Badugi hands to HM.

The database usually takes up more space than the hands you import.

Use http://windirstat.info/ to be able to visually look at your hard drive to see what is taking up the most space.

I believe he was suggesting you zip up your archived hands. You could zip up everything in your \HMArchive folder, except for the 2010 hands if you wanted. Compressed hand histories are usually only 8 - 10% of the original file's size.

The files that usually waste the most space are the \PostgreSQL\8.3\data\pg_log files. If you delete those and turn off logging, it will likely save you a lot of space. I have seen people with 33GB databases that have 28GB of useless log files in them.

The plan is to have a way to re-tag all the old Euro hands from within the HM menu's. I do not know if this utility will be in the first release tomorrow.

We can add support for CDN$ as well or any other currency as long as it is in the hand history

We have currency translation. You can show stats / graphs in USD/EUR or GBP (more can be added) and it will convert results to the appropriate currency based on rates and currency of the hand.

Pokerstars MTTs?

You need to request and import any/all your tournament histories and import those to HM. Stars does not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive, like FTP does.

Email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Summaries.

Then later, you want to import the summaries on a regular basis:

Pokerstars > Lobby > Requests > Tournament History .. > 200

Then you have to create a text file, from the email, to import to HM.

Right-click any hand in HM and choose the Replay Hand option.

If you go to the Players tab and run a report for big winners in your DB, you can create an alias to join multiple villains and aggregate their stats.

- Right-Click any player in your Players Tab Results and choose > Select This Player.

- Options > Player Aliases... > Add Alias > Name it something easy to remember, like 'Winning Villians' > Add Player > Search for one of the winners from the Players Tab. Now Close the Alias Management window and go back to the Players Tab and your previous results. Right-Click > Add Player to Current Alias for all the players you want to add to your new alias.

Hi just wanted to post a suggestion for the next update.

It would be really usefull if there was a 'show rakeback adjusted vales' checkbox next to 'show ev$ adjusted vales' on the tourney/results tab.

Thanks
