i have a few questions about the new hud:

how does 'session stats' work now ??

how can i display my hud stats on the table ??

will the pink note colors ever go away ??

now that i am using the new hud, what do i do with the hud/not export that i used to do and how does that affect the information/stats ??

I am having trouble starting my HEM after I "manually vacuum analyze". It says "failed to establish a connection to '127.0.0.1.'. Is there a quick way to help fix it?

This happened to me yesterday but it wasn't due to a vaccuum, I'm not sure what triggered it. I rebooted, restarted HEM and everything was fine again.

I just did that right now but no luck =(

Different notes and note colors, for the same players? Why?

I am not sure if it is possible, to be honest. It might be, but I wouldn't suggest it.

The \config\holdemmanager.config and prefs.xml should be the 2 files with all of your settings, but once again, I have never tried or recommended this.

The DB contains the notes and can be exported/imported, but I am not sure if that is something you need to do.

Rush tables? You can't. For various reasons the developers did not make the hero HUD visible at Rush tables.

Close FTP client
Navigate to the FTP installation folder.
Rename the file myname.xml to sth. like myname.xml.rush
Copy/Paste the file myname.bak0 and rename the copy to myname.xml
Restart FTP client.

It might be necessary to deactivate "Hide known file extensions" in control panel->folder options.


That menu option will probably be phased out now that the HUD is pretty solid.

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Rightclick the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

I just reinstalled the "combo" package but I seem to have lost my old databases. How can I get it back?

1) Make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files.
2) Uninstall HM with www.revouninstaller.com using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/Hol...ager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

i am not clear on the renaming instructions.

I just loaded up HEM and went to import my tournaments and the results are way off. It doesnt seem to be recording any of my cashes in these, anyone else have the same issue?

Typically in C:\Program Files (x86)\Full Tilt Poker

If you aren't sure you can Right-Click > Properties on the Shortcut to Full Tilt Poker and check the Target Path.

Notes are in a file called YourUserName.xml.

When you exported the HM stats to your notes it backed up your original notes by renaming it to YourUserName.bak0. You can simply delete the current YourUserName.xml that has the stats in the notes. Then you rename the YourUserName.bak0 to YourUserName.xml. My instructions before have an extra step of copying the .bak0 file, so you still have another backup if something goes wrong.

We are always trying to improve the HEM product and user experience and are aware that many players want to use a Macintosh native OS to play poker and analyze HEM. We have increased our development staff and our existing developers are working nonstop on HEM enhancements and core functionality.

We are currently considering either a new dedicated developer for this project or developing it in conjunction with a partner. Based on this, I can’t give you a commitment now as to when it will be available.
