I got the latest update but this error still pops up when I open HM. Right after the above error message pops up, HM opens then another error message pops up that says, "An error occurred when retrieving the player list: Input string was not in a correct format. Couldn't store <?58>
in player_id column. Expected type is Int32." Any suggestions?

Options -> Hud Options -> HUD pop up configuration

1. Type the name of what you want to call it and click "new"
2. Add labels and stats in the correct column u want
3. look at the preview to see if that's how you like it.

Options -> Hud Options -> Player preferences

1. on the right side, click the stat you want to "attach" the pop up to
2. select which pop up in the drop down menu (this will be the name you saved from number one, in the previous actions)

Now while in the game, you just need to hover over the stat you attached it to. in my case, i attached it to hands.

i then made a second pop up showing steals and attached that one to the Agr stat.

If that was the worst of my problems i wouldnt be so bad. I had the whole player preference thing altered to suit. See below

And then as it occassionaly and sometimes very frequently does the HUD crashes and then i have to reload the HUD, when i did this is what showed up

I dont know if that is the default one and i dont know why my one was overwritten but is there anyway to get it back, please tell me yes as i put alot of effort into it. Also if you could maybe do a short how to use the popup configuration section it would be greatly appreciated as it looks like a good few people are having problems with it
Hello Again, so it seems there was no pref.bak file, theres a propref.txt file in there aswell, i made backups of both and messed around trying to swap one with the other and deleting one or the other and restarting HM but it made no difference my old settings were unrecoverable, i then restored my original files but no matter what i change in player preferences it just shows 7 stats every time even if delete all the stats from the window and leave 1 it still shows the same 7 stats.

So it looks like i might have corrupt files so if anyone reading this could email me the files in this folder i would really appreciate it to dvdfan@eircom.net

c:\program files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config\

Ive also tried re-installing the 0.80 patch but it dosent change anything. Unfortunately of the 7 stats it does show it doesent show hands played so i have to check pop ups every single time to see what the sample size is over

PLEASE HELP

Is there a filter or a place where I can solve for vpp/hand by finding hands where rake>=$1, $2, etc?

If not, could this maybe get added

OK RVG i found the Bug that was causing my problem, after going to the bother of uninstalling and reinstalling i made a backup of the original files. Then i changed the table settings opacity and mucked hands and also V$PIP pot average.

Then i changed a few things in the preference window to see if it would update in the HUD and it reverted back to the same 7 stats AGAIN and no matter what i changed it wouldnt update on the HUD

So i compared the backup Pref File i made before doing changes to the settings and the now changed pref file and kept tinkering one by one with every difference until i got to POTS which value was -1 which stood out, i then remembered that i changed this stat in the table settings window (Number of Pots in Table Preferences) to 20 as i taught this would then give me the average V$PIP of 20 hands, but anyway once i changed this stat back to one of the 4 choices i.e 1,2,3 or None then the HUD stats updating. Curiously enough a file also appears called propref.txt when the default stats appear that i cant change but anyway the whole point of me saying this is if anyone changes that value to anything other than the 4 options (you can do this by deleting the value and typing it in) then it will delete their HUD setup and replace it with a default one, so it would be wise to stop them from choosing anything other than the 4 options available

I'm going to keep annoying you some more

Could you add a checkbox or something to remove my own stats from a Players report ?

Still about the players tab, since it appeared you missed it earlier, when I click repeatedly and quickly on any column to use it for sorting, the bottom lines get truncated and disappear (the total line may or may not reappear, apparently depending on the size of the list). Race condition while the column is not re-sorted yet maybe ?

Is extra rake from bad beat jackpot tables counted/stored/displayed somewhere ?

Is support for Bodog working w/ the beta release of Hold' Em Manager, or do I need some kind of hand grabber (which currently does not exist) to get it auto-import hand histories?

You know how when you click a players stats the default comprehensive PopUp stats for that player appears- how about somewhere (player preferences perhaps) you are given the choice of whether you want a comprehensive stats PopUp or whether you would rather the Active Player Window change to that player when you click on his on screen stats- can be a bit tough under pressure to find their name in the alphabetical list. Plus with the new popup manager we have great coverage there anyway....

I linked to this previously in this thread, but I will now quote it from the HM thread, because I also made a white card version.

OK, I was finally able to get SQL workin and HM installed. I am quite impressed so far.I imported my recent 90k hand DB, and it was fast and easy. I believe there were only 4 hands with import errors.

I havent played on Stars yet, hopefully later today. I did datamine a few FTP tables to set up the HUD, and knew I would have to replace the muck cards for the HH Side-Box. I really hate to see white cards now.

*RVG/MikeChops - Hope you don't mind me doing this.

The first image is the one I made for MikeChops previously. It is basically my V13.4/13.5 deck, with-out the upper-left index. The second one is the same thing, but with a small pip in the upper-left where the index should go.

Just like with RTHUD any of my cards0.png's should work for HMHUD.*

*Most of my recent FTP decks use a oversized Cards0.png. It is 490x294 instead of 420x252. I haven't tried using the oversized images as of yet. I will very soon, unless MikeChops tell's me it's pointless to try.

No Pip

Pipped

Any have any luck yet getting this running on Linux, either with or without Wine. I've tried to get it going but the startup borks with a "cannot load assembly HoldEmManager.exe" error and then an unhandled page fault error.

I'll be honest, the ability to quit running XP in a VM just to play poker would make this an instabuy.

rvg, are you still working on my log file? 0.80b helped a lot but I still have 397 errors out of the ~65k UB hands I just imported, so if you want me to send you those (a quick glance shows them mostly to be posting blinds out of turn or hands that didn't happen because nobody wanted to post a blind) let me know.

FPP calcs are on the list but not really high at this point compared to some of the other things. It is a good idea though and will be done.

We could do something like that but right now the aim is to make the HUD contain the info you need from the player details view. I do like the idea of having this view default to the last clicked player though.

The app is written in C# and C++ so making it work on Linux is a real possibility but it won't happen until things are running very well on Windows. Unfortunately I'm not sure why you are getting that error at the beginning.

Yes - I do have it and will be making changes to the UB importer / parser based on those error hands

Option 2 is the default now, I believe. And Roy said he planned on making it selectable for white or 4-color.

I was going to, when I get some time, make a white set, with the pips in the upper left like the 4-colored deck #2.
